Patrizia's Italy TrattoriaWent on a Tuesday eveningWent on a Tuesday evening which was quiet. The decor is soothing with an upscale urban feeling. Wait staff was friendly, efficient and extremely knowledgeable. The presentation of the food was impressive, but the flavors of the meals were the best. Nothing was left behind. The grand finale was the incredible flour less chocolate cake. I was only going to eat 1 bite, but ate 3. Definitely will go back!5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMNice treat for Mothers dayCute place to take Mom out for mothers day celebration5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Italian food in Plymouth MACelebrated Mother's Day here and the food was terrific as was the service. All of the pasta is home made and perfect. Interesting that they asked my wife to refrain from hanging her jacket on the back of the chair. We didn't mind - it's nice that they care about the appearance of the restaurant.
My only complaint is that there weren't more reasonable options for kids especially on Mother's Day when you'd expect there to be families with children (our daughters are eight and ten). Our girls enjoy trying new foods but ricotta and spinach ravioli is a little too much to ask. Fortunately they agreed to share a plate of gnochi in red sauce.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food and service was excellent. The food and service was excellent. I would only recommend if you are formally dressed, unless you don't mind a patio seat.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMPleasant surprise!First time here. A pleasant surprise. Selected this restaurant on-line from OpenTable. It was mid point for us and some friends that we had planned on meeting for dinner (50 miles for each). Food was very good and each dish was nicely presented. Service was delightful. Our waitress was a great help in selecting our courses. Also made fine wine recommendations. Best of all -- she had a great personality, which is so very important as it adds so much to the overall experience. Will definitely go back when in the area.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMInitially, we were struckInitially, we were struck with the pretentiousness of this restaurant, but we had the advantage of an excellent, and friendly, server. Food was mostly quite good, but there were a few misses. An appetizer special of prosciutto with cantaloupe was almost good, as the meat was of high quality, but the underripe and tasteless cantaloupe did not provide the needed counterpoint to the salty prosciutto, of which there was almost an overabundance. Kobe beef carpaccio, on the other hand, was outstanding. The entree special of lamb chops was quite good, but the chops were outshone by a wonderful light as air gnocchi in parmesan cream sauce sidedish. Veal saltimboca was surprisingly flat. Wine list was good, and overall, prices were reasonable.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMTruly a wonderful find inTruly a wonderful find in Plymouth, MA. Wonderful service, seasonal specials and the food was exceptional.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMIt was a very pleasant experienceIt was a very pleasant experience from the bartender letting me have a taste of a drink I inquired about, to the pleasant wait staff, delicious meal and lovely decor. Cannot wait to go back.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMSpecialWe are so glad we had Easter lunch at Patrizia's. A special restaurant for a special holiday!3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMWife's Birthday DinnerMy wife and I went to dinner @ 4pm (to beat the rush/crowd)on March 9th. We had our choice of tables; chose a quiet one in the corner. Our server (Calley) was knowledgeable about all the menu options, including specials and the wine menu. She was attentive, but not overly so; we did not feel rushed at all. Except for some minor confusion over my steak (degree of rare, issue rectified immediately), the experience was wonderful. Patrizia personally came to our table to apologize for any confusion, which we greatly appreciated. Menu suggestions: the tuna tartar appetizer (a special that evening) was AMAZING! and the tiramusi DIVINE! (By the way, my wife is writing this :-)3/9/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat local diningI have been to Patrizias 3 times now and I do enjoy it. I had the sea bass special. The fish was melt in your mouth delicious. It sat on a bed of celery mousse which was just okay but the stuffed and fried squash blossom was delicious as was the lemon cake dessert. Light, fresh and exquisitely presented. My dining companions both had the lamb special which they said was delicious. I highly recommend and will be back!3/4/2013 12:00:00 AMVery nice atmosphere althoughVery nice atmosphere although a bit noisy. Cozy bar with good service.
