The guest of honor and his wife had never dined at Patrick's before (we have dined at Patrick's many times). The birthday "boy" ordered the Filet Mignon, while his wife ordered the Salmon. My wife and I ordered the Salmon and the Shrimp Daily Special. All four entrees were outstanding. My friend's Filet was outstanding and it was accompanied by a Peppercorn Sauce that was absolutely delicious!!
The Salmon and the Shrimp were wonferful as well. The service, as always, was outstanding. Our guests commented that they will definitely return. The dining space is just the right size to guarantee great service and a sound level that insures great conversation with good friends. I liked the fact that it was fairly quiet. The only negative was that my husband expected the apple desert to be warm but it was chilled. We will definitely be back though. In spite of all the tables being full, the volume in there was very pleasant for visiting and feeling like we were having a relaxing evening out. Broad menu with excellent choices from steak to seafood. Mussels available Friday-Sunday. The best crab cakes we have had in the Cities. They compare favorably to Maryland crab cakes.
