I took my wife there to celebrate
a momentous occasion in our lives and it was a nice place to sit and focus on each other. It was a Monday night so it wasn't crazy busy, but it seems lie a place you could have a fun night with drinks and projector screens and party, but for us it was a nice quiet night. Food was okay; nothing wrong with it, but it didn't blow our minds. All in all, a great little spot."

The food was ok, not great for the
prices and the place had no one in it. Service could have been better considering there were only 3 tables occupied. If you are looking for a place with a good vibe it isn't here."

Patio looked awesome since we saw
it being built and would drive by constantly. Decided to stop in and give it a shot. Nice outdoor setting on a beautiful night, the perfect ambience. Started off with wonderful bread and a blend of dipping oil, tomatoes, and a hint of little red pepper flakes which were addictive. We should have stopped right there. Food was cooked well but EXTREMELY bland. Same story with every dish. The food is probably geared toward the 80+ year old clientele who have a thousand diet restrictions and can't have a well SEASONED dish. Bottom line.... Drive by this attractive setting (or stop in for bread only) and get an excellent meal in the perfect ambience ANYWHERE else on Atlantic Avenue in Delray."

Patio Delray is a nice place
hidden behind Areca palms in a commercial lot to give it a tropical feeling. A fish pond and waterfall are nice touches. The menu is interesting though some items are a bit pricey especially sine owner charges extra if one does not want the specified side dish which is absurd to me. The fish stew was fresh and fabulous but owner took it off menu and didn't respond to requests from myself and others I know to have it be put back. More fish dishes would be nice. Cappicuno machine seems to a,ways be out of order. We usually have Max as our waiter and he is excellent. If you need more sauce or gravy for your dish owner will often want to charge you. She needs to learn to be more accommodating to her customers"

We have never been disappointed
with the various meals we have ordered. The beautiful and gracious proprietor must select only the finest quality of meats and fish. Preparation is masterful. So delicious. This is one of the restaurants we will not miss while in Delray Beach."
Dined on 4/1/2014
interesting restaurant nestles in
a tropical greenery setting. menu was eclectic mix of Asian and American choices with Peruvian touches, Wait staff attentive and though not live, great background music. Food was very good and served with a nice presentation. We had an early dinner so did not observe much bar activity . would definitely revisit this lovely restaurant."
Dined on 3/31/2014
We had never been there. Enjoyed
very much. Service was great. The menu was very different. The only complaint is that you can't substitute at all."
Dined on 3/30/2014
Excellent meals are served at
Patio Delray, with sophisticated taste!"
Dined on 3/28/2014
We tried four items on the menu.
The food at this restaurant is good, but nothing out of this world. The prices, however, are high. The atmosphere is pleasant in a beachy way, but not elegant. Considering that the food and decor are nothing unusually special, the prices should be much lower."
Dined on 3/23/2014
A very lovely setting to spend a
quiet birthday dinner as I did."
Dined on 3/20/2014
When we asked our waiter if the
chef could prepare a vegetarian dish for my wife, the waiter simply said no. I find it hard to believe that any restaurant would not accommodate a customers specific dietary needs. I would never go back and could recommend this restaurant and maintain a good conscience."
Dined on 3/22/2014
We were looking for a place in
Delray that had a sit down brunch, not buffet. Since our two seniors like to sit outside, that was a criteria too. Delray Patio is very pleasant. The décor is well done in & outside. The Sunday brunch menu has both traditional items with a twist and signature items. The eggs benedict with crab cakes was delicious. Nice treat was the bottomless mimosas for $14.00. Service was friendly and professional. We would highly recommend Delray Patio for a very delicious and pleasant way to start your day."

A quaint tucked away oasis. This
is that place where you can truly " Taste the love " in every bite"
Dined on 2/22/2014
Food was great. Service was fair.
Took forever to take our order. We were a group of four. Brought out one appetizer then took another 15 minutes to bring out the remaining ones. Then it took about another 20 -30 minutes to bring out our entrées. Had to repeatedly as for drink refills. They appeared to be under staffed in servers and in the kitchen. That being said, will give it another try as the food was very good."
Dined on 3/15/2014
This was our first and last time
we will go here, the service was not good. The hostess and the waiter had no personality and certainly did not make us feel welcome. The food was not worth the price, one of our steak dinners was over done but we were afraid to send it back."
Dined on 3/3/2014
We loved the location away from
traffic of Atlantic Avenue. Our group of four lucked into a perfect day to dine outside. The patio tables were clean and comfortable and even though there was a church festival across the road the restaurant was quiet. Our server was sterling. She seemed happy to be there and made us feel welcome. The brunch menu is excellent. All of us enjed something different and every dish was prepared perfectly and served hot and fresh. The Absolut Bloody Mary was just spicy enough. Definitely a place that we'll visit again."
Dined on 3/2/2014
Food was excellent. We were a
group of 12 with 4 kids and everyone loved their meals. Service is beyond friendly and warm. Menu is unique and delicious."
Dined on 2/20/2014
We had a table outside under a
canopy near a fountain - very relaxing and quiet. Asian influence throughout the menu - very nice fusion dishes and flavors. I had the signature dish - cioppino, and it was excellent. Would have preferred fewer mussels and more fish, but the flavor was terrific. Guest had a snapper special - also excellent. Modest wine list, but some suitable selections. We will be back for sure."
Dined on 2/18/2014
Patio Delray is a cute place. We
had brunch. I didn't love my dish and honestly forgot at this point what I ate (whatever it was was suggested by the waitress and it had a lot of cheese) but my guests liked theirs, mostly. Bottomless mimosa is a nice idea but the bloody mary was weak and expensive. My husband asked for removal of (they don't substitute) sundried tomatoes but the meal still came with them (oops), so for that and their lack of willingness to substitute they get a fair rating on their service. It might be a hit or miss type of place but I'd try it again. I say give it a try, but it might not be perfect."
Dined on 2/9/2014
We went for a special dinner on
Valentine's day. The prices were substantially above their normal prices with a limited menu of 5 items. The meal started poorly with ice cold red wine, apparently taken directly from a refrigerator. We ordered 2 paella dishes which were advertised to contain lobster, fish, sausage, spiced with saffron. It came as a watery, grey mush with no lobster, one dish had no fish, only 1 shrimp - it was mostly bland calamari and clams with no hint of saffron. When we advised the Miss Lilly of our dissatisfaction, she was unapologetic and dismissive, saying brusquely , I will pass your comments on to the chef. At a $175 for this mediocre this a disappointment and a ripoff."
Dined on 2/14/2014
This was our second visit to
Patio. Excellent food, service and ambiance. We will be back!"
Dined on 2/14/2014
Paella had no flavor; Duck was
good but sauce again was almost without flavor- both were about $35. Presentation was attractive- nothing special. This restaurant took over the same spot as the pineapple grille- now THAT restaurant was really good, had a great ambience, reasonably priced and was a fun spot. Wish Pineapple Grille was back. Wonderful that it was quiet and no blaring TV's at the bar area. Outside patio is lovely."

This was my second dining at Paio
of Delray. The first time went for New Years Eve with my wife and mother in law. The service may have been a little slow, but we were not in a hurry. Overall we had a delightful new years. My mother was just in town visiting from New York as it was her Birthday Weekend. Since I had a good experience previously, I booked a reservation for my mom's birthday, there were 7 of us. The service was very slow and my poor mom was not happy. We had to wait roughly an hour for the waiter to take our order, we should have walked out, but stayed. The food was decent but the overall service was poor. The joke at the table was that we would finally get dinner the next day."
Dined on 2/8/2014
Everything at this quaint spot is
a notch above anything we have tried in the area. The food, the décor, the service, everything truly reflects the owners labor of love. Can't wait to come back to try some of the other menu items."
Dined on 12/10/2013
So glad we found Patio Delray. It
is excellent - food, service, and ambiance. The roast chicken with veggies is superb - juicy and flavorful. We will be going back for sure!"
Dined on 1/31/2014
Very pleasant, especially on the
covered patio where you can actually have a conversation. Loved being able to bring our small dog too."
Dined on 12/21/2013
This was our first time at Patio
Delray. The hostess was very nice. Acknowledged and complimented the birthday girl per the note on the Open Table reservation. The menu was good, the service was mediocre. The bottomless mimosas were PERFECT! I tried to make a healthy alternative substitution, but they were not able to accommodate the request (an English muffin instead of a croissant). Prices were reasonable. One concern: there weren't very many patrons. That always makes me nervous. It is peak season, I expected the place to be packed for Brunch on Sunday, but there were only 3-5 parties in the whole restaurant."
Dined on 1/26/2014
We keep returning to Patio Delray
to enjoy unusually flavored cuisine choices; an inviting and warm ambience; attentive service; and low volume background music. It is such a pleasure to enjoy fine food and visit with friends at the same time. One can eat anywhere; go to Patio Delray to dine."
Dined on 1/25/2014
Lush closed in patio. Park in
front of the restaurant. Recommend to check the menu to make sure the selections are to your liking. We used a Groupon on a Thursday night, not overcrowded."
Dined on 1/23/2014
Food was very good. I wish I could
say the same for the hostess. She was rude and not at all helpful with the menu."
Dined on 1/5/2014
Took the girlfriend here for New
Years dinner. Food was great. I treated myself to the Surf and Turf and some Lobster Bisque. Both were delicious. The service was good despite it being a busy holiday. I didn't leave feeling as though I overpaid for our meal. I liked that we were able to have a conversation without having to yell over unnecessarily loud music (like most trendy restaurants). They had plenty of parking, so that was a plus. I would definitely go back."
Dined on 12/31/2013
We went with kids in a group of 9
and everyone loved their meals. Service was very good and the menu very interesting with delicious choices. Great new place for us. We will definitely be back."
Dined on 12/28/2013
My family and I went for dinner
whie vacationing in Palm Beach. The service was prompt but did get a little sparse towards the end. The food was very good. My wife had a Grouper dish that was very good. I had the Singapore Noodle bowl which was out of this world! Serving sizes were very generous? Oh yes, my two boys raved about the Angus beef hamburgers as well. I highly recommend Patio Delray."
Dined on 12/27/2013
Great upscale south-east Florida
dining experience--great food; excellent presentation; great service; quiet, small, subtly elegant atmosphere; very good outside garden dining area."
Dined on 12/25/2013
I'll never know what went into
that short rib on Xmas eve, but tender seems to be too genteel a word. The pumpkin bisque was velvety smooth and the creme fraiche a nice addition. Easy parking, no downtown fuss...its a good place."
Dined on 12/25/2013
This is a wonderful restaurant
with great food n service. Really good menu choices. Only problem was the room carries sound way too much.Would go back and perhaps sit outside."
Dined on 12/24/2013
We were a group of 8 & could
actually talk to each other. Food was very good with interesting, eclectic combinations. Only problem was that the service was very slow-maybe an hour to get main courses."
Dined on 12/21/2013
Everthing was perfect, service &
food. The people that we brought here were all impressed."
Dined on 12/15/2013
We were a group of 4 and were
greeted on arrival and shown to our table. Our server was still training under the observation of an experienced server though he was very capable in his own right and didnt appear to need any direction. Our water glasses were kept filled throughout the meal. We had a squash bisque that was fantastic and full of flavor. The special of the evening was a Cornish game hen with a Parmesan rosemary sauce which was delicious and makes my mouth water to remember it. We were all drinking different drinks at different speeds and no one had to wait long for a refill. We will be back!"
Dined on 12/10/2013
it just wasn't right. In the
1970's and 1980's we ate at Patio Delray, a beautiful restaurant. We had to go back. As it turned out, the only thing that remained was the name. The location was different, the ambience was different, the food was different and the service was different. It is true that you can't go back. The service was lackluster. We were attended to by a trainee. Our double cut pork chops had to be sent back for further cooking--mine once, my wife's twice. Since this was a regular menu item, and not a special, the only conclusion to be drawn was that the cook lacked the skills to prepare it correctly. Even at the discount price, the food did not warrant the price. The meal was a la carte so no included soup, or salad etc."
