However, this time, I took two of my friends, who recently moved to New York City and became New Yorkers, to introduce them to Pastis and make them one of the regulars like me. I prefer early morning hours as it has the tendency of being less crowded on the weekends. However, after 11:30am on the weekends, both Saturday and Sunday, if you don't have a reservation, you may end up waiting for a long line but it is still worth. Their "Le Panier" is really great. It is full of different varieties of breads, croissants, and some other sweet stuff.
