My husband said his mushroom soup was the best he'd ever tasted. My husband had a pasta dish (Baked Mac & Cheese: smoked gouda, parmesan, Monterey Jack, mesquite smoked bacon, spinach, fat macaroni) and I had a chicken dish (Chicken Saltimbocca: seared chicken breast with fresh sage leaves, wrapped in prosciutto, served with cream sauce, saffron risotto, and grilled asparagus). As a matter of fact, this reservation was the 2nd Sunday evening in a row. My spouse, who loves salmon & who has had the bourbon-glazed salmon there a dozen times, said that this was the worst meal ever at Pastiche portion smaller than normal & overcooked, very dry. Last week 3 of the 4 specials were no longer available by 6 pm; this week it was 2 of them.
