  • "Tho the name is misleading (there are only 5 or 6 pasta dishes on the menu) the food was fabulous. I had the local fish which was cooked perfectly, altho in the French manner, not Italian. It was dipped in a slightly eggy batter and quickly sauteed. It was the best fish I'd ever had. DH had angel hair pasta w meatballs. Pretty basic, right? Well, the sauce was loaded with ripe fresh tomatoes and too good to be called just 'marinara.' The meatballs were a fabulous texture--not the usual restaurant golf balls--and seasoned just right. The owner, who speaks with a charming French accent, is a bit of a joker. It took us a few minutes to realize he was teasing us and but we soon felt like the restaurant's regulars. Can't wait to visit again."

I had the grouper which was excellent. My husband and several others had the pasta and they also raved about their meals. My husband also had the French Onion Soup and I liked that also. We liked this restaurant so much that we are going back this weekend with some other friends."

  • "We have passed by this restaurant so many times and finally tried it last Friday. The food was amazing, the staff was so polite and nice. It felt like a neighborhood kitchen - everyone knew everyone. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Prices were reasonable and the food was amazing. Best meatballs!!!"

  • "We had high expectations for this restaurant but were disappointed. Several of our neighbors did recommend it but we did not have a great experience. The fish on the menu is prepared for cooking ahead of time. If you want to eliminate a particular ingredient you really can't do that. Some of the pasta dishes did look good and maybe that's the way to go. The other problem is that the seating is very tight. We were a party of 2, sitting next to a party of 4 and it felt like we were a party of 6. Being stuck in the corner we kind of got lost in the crowd. One other complaint is that their bread is not that good."

  • "Went to Pasta Fever recently and had a terrible experience. The hostess, waiter, and other staff are not "polished" at all. They lack professionalism, and were not friendly at all. They have a menu with virtually no pasta on it which surprised my family as the restaurant name would lend you to believe there would be a good selection of pasta. Ordered salads for an appetizer and 5 minutes later all of our dinners arrived except mine which was a special, lamb shank. My dinner finally came out 15 minutes after the rest of my family was done, burnt and not tasty at all. Most restaurants have the common sense to allow a table to finish their appetizers before bringing out the main course, and all dinners should be brought out together."

  • "Cozy, friendly helpful staff. Decent menu especially with the pre fixe menu. Definitely make reservations with the size of the place it will fill up quickly and stays busy throughout the night. Must have is the French Onion Soup. Good size portions with the Chicken Piccata and the Shrimp Dish. All available on the Pre Fixe for $35 per person and also includes dessert. Good affordable food with an attentive staff. What more could you want."

  • "The food was mediocre. The Caesar salad was tasteless. My friend and I shared the Snapper Francaise . The portion was good but the flavors left a lot to be desired. My husband had Veal Piccata. The veal was extremely tough and he said it lacked flavor also. Our friend ordered the Veal Parmesan. It had too much tomato sauce. All in all we were underwhelmed with the whole experience."

  • "I had a nice dinner at Pasta Fever off Hwy 1 in Boca Raton. The ambiance was mellow, the food was good and the service was outstanding. We felt like a family member by the end of the evening. I had mussels which were generously portioned and very good and my friend had fish served almondine; both were excellent as was the bread and olive tapenade. I'd go there again. We were the last to leave the restaurant and never felt rushed. The servers were really nice and we never felt neglected."

  • "This small Italian resto owned and run by a Frenchman is a true gem! A quaint and small-by-American standards restaurant, proved itself to be a find. Our party if six enjoyed exquisitely prepared food including escargot in a pastry shell, Caesar salad and soup (cant remember which one) but all delicious. Our main courses included the veal chop (excellent), the pasta carbonara (excellent), the lemon sole almondine and meunière as well as the penne a la vodka ... All perfectly executed. This was dining! No rushing, no pressure and gracious service. The owner welcomed everyone and made us all feel like guests. Note that there is only wine and beer offered."

  • "I found this fantastic restaurant while browsing Open Table for availability of a restaurant we haven't tried before. I read the reviews and decided to book the reservation and I am so thrilled I did! We were greeted in a friendly manner and seated promptly. Our server, Katie, came to the table very quickly and took our drink order. Katie explained the specials for the night (very thoroughly) and gave us time to enjoy our drinks before taking our order. Our dinners were plentiful & delicious. Katie made sure we were never in need of anything. Eric, the owner, came to the table and made sure we were pleased with our meals..we were treated like family! We will be dining here often. You will not be disappointed in any way!"
