Pasta da PulcinellaVery PleasedWent for a girls night out and it was a great choice. The staff are pleasant and friendly, food was amazing and came out piping hot, and the prices are reasonable. I will be back.6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMA find!Great atmosphere and service. Unique dishes with tons of flavor...not your typical red sauce on everything Italian place.6/13/2013 12:00:00 AMPasta da Pulcinella was anPasta da Pulcinella was an accidental find, but, without question, it's a neighborhood gem. The service is impeccable. We were greeted at the door and promptly taken to our table. Derek out waiter was there in seconds. I opted between a salmon dish and the "Tagliatelle Verdi All Bolongnese. Derek recommended the latter. It's a very nice dish and yet somewhat light, consisting of spinach tagliatelle (pasta)with a y ragú of veal, beef, pork, onion, carrots, tomatoes, and a touch of cream. The wine list is good but by the glass it is somewhat expensive. Nevertheless, this is a very nice restaurant for casual dining or just a night out. If you haven't been there, it is definitely worth trying.6/12/2013 12:00:00 AMVery pleasant atmosphere.Very pleasant atmosphere. Food always good. Noise level low enough to converse. Businesses or pleasure.6/12/2013 12:00:00 AMBrava!SO glad I found this unexpected bit of Italy in the middle of Midtown. The food-fab, the setting-totally charming and the service-warm and on target. I WILL be a regular!!6/12/2013 12:00:00 AMDining Experience at PulcinellaThis was some of the best Italian food I have had in Atlanta. The restaurant was very charming inside. However the service was average. The female that deliver water and bread to our table did not take the time to introduce herself, pour water into our glasses or even bother to bring olive oil or offer olive oil for the bread. However, our waiter was ok.
My compliments to the chef. Great food. Would definitely go back.6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful Special Occasion DinnerThe location is slightly off the beaten path but with a wonderful patio that is excellently for a summer night out. We where pleasantly greeted by name in part due to the reservation which was very charming and nice right off the bat. The menu isn't large but all the dishes seem to be quite proportionate for a healthy meal to fill you up. First an foremost the wine was excellent and perfectly suggested by our server. I suggest a return here to try more of the dishes available.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMA quiet, intimate gem in MidtownLove the food and the staff really make the experience. Perfect for a date or just a regular dinner.6/6/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat date nightWe had an excellent experience at Pasta da Pulcinella. The atmosphere is very romantic and cozy. There is an outdoor dining area, but we chose to sit inside. We had the pears and prosciutto appetizer... YUM! The fresh bread was delicious as well. I had a pasta dish with buckwheat noodles and lots of vegetables (can't remember the name) which was a tiny bit too oily, but absolutely delicious. My husband had a dish with scallops and risotto which he enjoyed very much. The peach sorbet was very refreshing and served inside of a ripe peach! Very lovely. They had one larger table in the middle of the restaurant that could accommodate about 10 people, and it looked like they could push together other small tables for groups as well.6/3/2013 12:00:00 AMTaking a Friend to a New RestaurantLast Thursday my wife and I took some old friends to the Atlanta Botantical Gardens and then on to your restaurant. We've eaten at Pasta de Pulcinella before and always found it to be great. However, when you take friends to a new place for the first time you want things to be perfect. Your restaurant did not disappoint anyone. 5-star service and friendly folks and slight changes to the meal were easily taken care of. Now, our friends have a favorite restaurant that they want to go to for lunch after visiting the High Museum.5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMnot everyday itilianmy wife and I were from out of town and wanted a quite evening with a good meal. The desk clerk at the Artmore Hotel recommended this to us and we were not disappointed. the food was excellent , servings were just the right size to satisfy and it was not standard U.S. pasta. the wine selection was extensive and a good variety.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMThe restaurant is very charmingThe restaurant is very charming and atmosphere during lunch was great! Service was excellent, prices very reasonable, and the food was wonderful! Very charming and friendly staff! We were served, served and on our way back to the office within an hour!5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding as alwaysThere aren't many good Italian restaurants that offer meat stuffed ravioli. This week I had the chicken ravioli and it was phenomenal! I saved one ravioli to take home to my partner and she agreed...amazing!5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat date spotWent for a first date and we both enjoyed the ambiance and the food. Wait staff was attentive but not "in your face" and the food was amazing. Will go back for sure.5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMEvery aspect of our diningEvery aspect of our dining was excellent. If you are considering Pasta da Pulcinella but haven't tried it yet, you must. The new renovations open up the dining room a bit, but maintain the atmosphere. As always, food and service were exceptional.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic Italian!Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Pasta da Pulcinella! My wife and I had tickets to the symphony and decided to pick a restaurant in Midtown that we had never tried. We were seated immediately and even though it was a very busy night, our waiter was always on top of things and funny to boot. My wife had the Tortelli Di Mele and I had the Chicken Cannelione and both dishes were amazing. For dessert, we shared the chocolate layer cake and Tiramisu with a cafe latte and both were delicious. Will definitely be back!4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMDinner and a Violinist!Dinner and a concert at the Alliance. Great service even with the addition of several groups of prom-goers. Didn't slow our service at all - good job! The meals were excellent and ambiance was great .. I had the Tortelli da Miele which was a pleasing mix of flavors. Will share with friends and return soon.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent wait staff, deliciousExcellent wait staff, delicious food, quaint ambiance.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious pasta (we had theDelicious pasta (we had the Mushroom Ravioli and Shrimp Scampi) + great service + relaxing atmosphere (we sat outside) = perfect Friday night in Midtown!4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMGood place. I took clientsGood place. I took clients there and they enjoyed.
Good and Fast service.
Well done.4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMWorth a tryI looks like the restaurant is going through a renovation. I saw patches on walls, and holes in the celing. The food was great and reasonably priced!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is one of my favoriteThis is one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. Quiet and secluded, it has a great patio and a romantic setting. Great food that never disappoints.4/17/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat for dinner before anGreat for dinner before an ASO show. Loved our salads (one caesar, one pulcinella salad). This time we shared linguini with the garlic cream sauce - YUM! - and one of the chicken specials - ALSO YUM!! This is one of our Midtown favorites. Reservations definitely helpful, but never seems to be crazy. As always, we came away full and happy!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMLove this restaurant. EspeciallyLove this restaurant. Especially the calamari and the home made pasta dishes. We have visited twice recently and both times have been very pleased with the food and in particular the service. The wait staff is very attentive. On one occaision we walked into find that a table of 20 people were just sitting down. Usually when that happens service goes out the window for the smaller tables. But it was not the case ! Our server made sure our food came out without delay and paid special attention to us that night. Will definitely be back.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMAn Atlanta midtown institution. An Atlanta midtown institution. I've been going for years. The food remains consistently excellent, and there is renovation going on. Wait staff is outstanding.4/9/2013 12:00:00 AMOverall-belissimo!Sat a quiet table for 2 on the porch as it was a nice spring evening. Enjoyed the quaint & cozy ambience.Inside might be noisy because of wood floors but outside was great. We started with asparagus for appetizer which was cooked to perfection.Entrees were a chicken tortellini dish and a shrimp and scallop dish, both melt-in-your mouth yummy.Ample servings-we had second meal from our leftovers.Only downside was our waiter who seemed annoyed with our questions & was not attentive-almost flippant.More training needed! Not exactly the 'tude one expects when spending $100+ on a meal.Apparently male waitstaff like the look of wearing hats.Maybe if they lose the hats they will act more professional.Overall-belissimo & applause to the chef!3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMDate Night w/My Love FiancéFood was excellent. I appreciate the staff taking care of us. We had a wonderful time.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMContinues to amaze with standardContinues to amaze with standard menu and special items. Prices are very reasonable for quality and location.3/26/2013 12:00:00 AMNice setting for a downtownNice setting for a downtown restaurant. Set in an older home on a quiet street between Peachtree and West Peachtree, it is a pleasant change from most downtown restaurants. It was a cold evening and the quaint restaurant could have used some additional heat, but it was ok. The outdoor seating seems to be an excellent way to enjoy a spring or summer dinner. The service was a bit slow due to the fact the restaurant was fairly full and only a few servers, however it was fine due to the fact that we were not in a hurry. The food was very good, especially the 2 different salads chosen. My wife's ravioli dish was bland and our server brought her a different one which was delicious. We will be going back.3/26/2013 12:00:00 AMStill terrificMy wife and I hadn't been to Pasta di Pulcinella in years, but if anything, it was even better than we remembered (and we remembered it as being pretty good). Excellent food, good service and an overall fine time. Our only surprise was seeing so many people there at 6 p.m. on a Saturday night, but I'm not going to blame the restaurant for being popular at early hours -- good for them.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMThis place NEVER disappoints. This place NEVER disappoints. The food is so fresh and has amazing flavors. My co-worker and I went for lunch and I had my favorites, Caesar Salad and Chicken Raviloi. The waiters are awesome too. Will be back again soon.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMRestaurant is located in aRestaurant is located in a cute little old house. Wine was great but a limited selection I what you can order by the glass. The asparagus started was divine. The only oddity was that, although the server was nice, he seemed a little disengages and didn't even finish what he was saying before he started to walk away. That was more amusing than detracting. Overall I would recommend it. Great date spot.3/19/2013 12:00:00 AM
