  • "Friend recommended this restaurant and I was highly impressed. Came before show at the Fox Theatre and was thoroughly pleased."

  • "I have been to this restaurant 3 or 4 times now and have absolutely loved it every time. The staff is fun and generous and the food is incredible every time! I always recommend this place to friends and will be back many more times!"

  • "Two couples went for my birthday on a Monday night, so it may have been more quiet than the weekends, but it was a perfect evening, The weather was warm enough to sit outside (but inside is nice too). Prompt service. Food was delicious. There is a full menu plus a specials list (e.g., angel hair and shrimp, risotto with scallops; chicken). You can see some hints of the city from the house deck. There is a big tree within the deck."

  • "Somehow this place had fallen off my radar for several years, as we frequently went to the 'other' Italian spot off N.Highland. Glad we went back - Pasta da Pulcinella is a gem of a restaurant in a quaint setting that delivers high quality Italian options. As you'd expect, there's the fresh bread with olive oil to start. It was nice that the table also had salt and a pepper grinder - something frequently missing these days. Everything was done very nicely, and when the wife indicated she didn't particularly like an aspect of her entree (nothing wrong, just not the flavor she had expected)..they quickly remedied and were very gracious. It's back on our radar for a nice date spot or pleasant evening with friends."

  • "Wonderful food, everything on the menu is great. Hard to select. Had a group of 35 people and the service was very good. Each person ordered their own entree and all raved. This is a great restaurant and a real neighborhood gem. Lunch and Dinner spot."

  • "After coming here for over five years, it was nice to see the remodeling changes,(Nothing radical, just knocking out a wall in the front room to expand and give the room an airier feel. I almost hesitate to tell the whole truth about my experiences here, for fear that I won't be able to get a table one day. :-) The food is simple, delicious, and tastefully presented. Fresh ingredients and attention to detail have made every visit here a culinary delight, This time I brought a new friend and she LOVED the choice, raving about the food and very much enjoying the attentive service from Brandon who is very good at what he does(and witty)."

  • "Our party of four had two specials and two dinners from the main menu, three desserts, and an appetizer, and all were very good. I wouldn't say extraordinary, but very good. As was the ambience (if you understand that you are in the middle of a city) and service. I can recommend this, and likely will come here again."

  • "If you haven't had dinner at this mid-town gem, make a reservation for this weekend and see why this is one of Atlanta's best kept secrets."
    Dined on 3/22/2014
  • "This is a warm and inviting restaurant located in one of the trendy districts of Atlanta, close enough to Symphony Hall and the High Museum to combine your cultural outing with a notable culinary experience. The weekends are busy, so beware. The food is tasty with some excellent pasta dishes but it's the at-home atmosphere that really makes the experience special."

  • "This place is one of my favorites. The food is always delicious and reasonably priced. I had the mushroom ravioli for the first time (I usually get the apple and sausage ravioli) and thoroughly enjoyed it."

  • "We have been to PdP many times over the past 12 years or so, but hadn't been in about a year and 1/2. I guess it just fell off our radar screen. We went with a party of 7 and had an absolutely sublime meal and a really fun evening. We had various dishes and were all taking bites of one another's. Everything was so yummy! Some in our party are gluten free and they can do several things there to accommodate, including mind-blowing risotto. We definitely won't wait long to go back."

  • "Took my parents for dinner before the symphony. Mom liked the tortelli di mele, Dad liked the tortellini and grilled chicken special, I had the salmon, which was yummy with the tomato and onion side, but the risotto was dry and not good. Atmosphere was charming. Our waiter wasn't very attentive, and waited so long after we finished our entrees ( I tried to get his attention several times as he passed us to no avail) that we didn't have time to have the dessert we were looking forward to and just had to ask for the check. When we didn't order wine it appeared he didn't think we were worth his time or effort."

  • "Experience perfectly fit the stereotype someone from NY would have about an Italian restaurant in Atlanta. Pasta was poor as was the risotto. Gnocchi was decent. Mozzarella on Caprese wasn't fresh. I would suggest skipping this restaurant if you have ever has real Italian. Stick with a local specialty. And no, I am not from NY. I am a southerner but one who knows Italian very, very well and this place did not make the cut."

  • "Great spot for dates. Really intimate layout. Great food at reasonable prices."

  • "We have been to Pasta da Pulcinella three times in about the last three months and each time the food, service and experience have been consistent. In my opinion, this is the exception, not the rule, and I am so happy we found this little place. The prices are completely reasonable and everything I've had on the menu so far has been delicious."

  • "We had another fantastic experience at P d'P on a very busy Saturday night. Our reservation wasn't ready because so many people were late arriving due to terrible traffic. The host could not have been more apologetic --- something you RARELY get in Atlanta restaurants -- and continued to check on us even though they were really only running 20 minutes behind. The food was great and the atmosphere is relaxed but energetic. This place always satisfies."

  • "My lobster ravioli was terrific, but my wife's swordfish was a bit dry and didn't have much taste (that's the danger with swordfish anywhere). Ambiance was very nice and the people couldn't have been more friendly. We'll be back."

  • "We've been here before and enjoyed the food very much. One complaint was the service was very slow. This was partly because it was a monday when they may have been understaffed, but we came in right before a large group. They got waited on first, so we ended up waiting for a long time before talking to a waiter."

  • "The food was wonderful and so flavorful! The portions are on the smaller side, but the taste is amazing! Especially try the tiramisu!"
    Dined on 2/16/2014
  • "I'm still trying to figure out what I just paid $170 for. The appetizers were horrible. Short ribs tasted like they came out of a package at Kroger. The hostess kept leaving the front door open (It was 35 degrees and rainy outside). Just awful."

  • "We have been to Pasta da Pulcinella several times, and it is always a solid "go to" restaurant for us. The food is very good and the service is friendly and attentive. A great place, walking distance to the Woodruff Arts Center. Our most recent visit was on Valentine's Night. Understandably, it was a bit crowded, but we never felt rushed, and the food was as consistently fine as we have ever had there. The regular menu has a little bit of everything, and the specials are always a treat! Great food and a very good value."

  • "My wife and I happoened upon this gem of an Italiam restaurant with the feel and quality of a cosmopolitan European style restaurant which has great ambience and food but is simplistic in its presentation and unpretentious!"

  • "I made a reservation for PDP on a Saturday night, dinner for 2. The ambience is neat, as the restaurant is located in a small bugalow with high-rises all around. The manager was acting as host that day, and was very friendly. I had the house salad, which in my opinion was slightly over-dressed, but had good flavor. My next dish was a seafood risotto, which was amazing. My girlfriend ordered the bruschetta, which we both devoured quickly. Her main dish was the main reason why I give the food category 3 stars, she ordered ravioli. For my taste, the pasta was undercooked and the tomato sauce needed something as it tasted generic. We finished with the marbled cheesecake, another success. Give it a try if you are in the area."

  • "My 5 pieces of lobster ravioli was terrible. It was served in a terrible cream sauce that looked and tasted like a bowl of milk. Others at my table who ordered the shrimp pasta said the pasta was hard and stuck together. The decaf coffee at the end of the meal was served in very small cups and refills were extra. We also felt that the restaurant was in a hurry to get us out so that they could turn the table over again."

  • "Perfect atmosphere in Midtown with a delicious menu! Let Tana pick out your wine! You can't go wrong here! The only thing I would change would be the goofy servers who seem inappropriately over-confident. But that has nothing to do with the food =)"

  • "Even though we've been in Atlanta for a long time this was the first time dining here. We had an early reservation because we had tickets to the Fox Theatre which is very close. The food was excellent, service was very good. The owner came by to talk to us and asked how everything was...we will be back:)"

  • "Loved everything, except it was a little loud. We sat at a two person table, and another couple was sat right next to us, even though there were empty tables a few away. When they started talking, it was difficult for us to carry on our conversation. Other than that, everything was wonderful!"

  • "since I had eaten at Pasta de Pulcinella. Though I have been a fan of theirs from the very beginning, it had fallen off my radar. I revisited, Saturday night, and all of the great memories game flooding back. The cozy ambiance, the great service and the awesome food! It is back on my list for frequent visitation. The server we had was great, my favorite dish-Torte de Melle- was just as I remembered it-divine! It was a perfect night!"

  • "Pasta da Pulcinella continues to deliver great food at really great prices in midtown. A key to the service is the attentive management staff who ensure that the orchestration of the dinning room never misses a beat. It is one of the gems of midtown dinning. I never get there often enough."
