  • "Always trying new restaurants in the Scottsdale area and this looked like a gem so for Valentine's Day i gave it a try, MISTAKE!! Service was absolutely awful, it was busy but crazy and we were not the only as most tables around us were just as disappointed. When we were walking out we tried to speak with the manager but there was a line of disgruntled patrons. Sad thing is the food was amazing with a bone-in Veal Chop the best i have ever had."

  • "Decided to have dinner with my significant other at Pasta Brioni on Valentines Day. Service was very good, but food was just ok. I ordered Chicken Sorrentino, and my girlfriend ordered Chicken Parmesan. The Chicken Sorrentino was bland, but the Chicken Parmesan was good. I don't know how the rest of the place was setup for Valentines Day, but in the bar area there was little to no Valentines Day ambiance. Some fresh cut flowers on the table, and a real candle would have been nice for a special evening."

  • "This is a place that likely increased their seating capacity to take advantage of the Valentines Day crowd but didn't seem up for it. The table settings were incomplete, the service was slow. They served poorly prepared bread (it looked like the rolls didn't rise as they were small and hard). The food was very delicious, but their were too many distractions to make this are really nice "Sweetheart Dinner". I think it would have been a much better experience on a regular night."

  • "The food here is soooo good. I had the shrimp scampi. The shrimp were HUGE!! The flavor was garlic garlic garlic just as it should be. Their calamari and marinara sauce was sooo flavorful and such big portions. I definitely will be back. The server Johnnie was attentive, helpful and quick."

Pasta Brioni is a favorite of our out of town friends. Great place for great food at reasonable prices. Waiters are helpful with food/wine recommendations and knowledgeable.   • "Pasta Brioni keeps getting better and better. We are always welcomed warmly as returning guests and seated in one of the balcony booths. Noticeable improvements have been made to the dining atmosphere to give the restaurant a more contemporary feel, and the food remains the best. We enjoy sharing a caesar salad. The veal chop was excellent, and it was served as we requested with mushrooms on the side along with sautéed spinach with garlic and onions. Jimmy was our attentive server. No room for dessert."

  • "We went on a Saturday evening with a 7:00 reservation. Even thought we were 15 minutes late, they seated us immediately. The place was full and quite noisy. Service was a little slow initially and once they took our order, we had to wait over an hour for our food. The portions are plentiful and the food was very tasty. The wait staff was cordial and polite; I just think they were a little overwhelmed by the crowd. The kitchen seemed to fall behind in fulfilling the orders due to a large group. The staff was apologetic for our wait."

  • "We had a reservation on Saturday night. Appeared at the restaurant. They were busy and we stood at the door. Hailed a waiter. He talked to us twice but we stood there for 15 minutes. Finally manager came by and said they were busy and our table was not ready and many were waiting. I asked him what was the issue as we had made a reservation on open table. He asked what time did I make the reservation, and I told him that was irrelevant. It shouldn't be available if there is no availability. On line there were many tables available and that is the reason we went there. We left! Manager was not that apologetic. We will never go again nor recommend. Also, manager implied it was an open table issue."

  • "Pasta Brioni is NOT close to our home. It takes over 30 mins minimum! We were very close to the restaurant when we got a call from the restaurant host. He said they just noticed about our reservation through Open Table and we would have to wait 40 mins because they were very busy . He didn't even offer any incentives for us to wait or wasn't really sorry. The point is if the restaurant really cared about their own mistake which it was they should have done something more than just saying, "we just realized you have a reservation with us...can't take you at the time of your reservation". VERY Poor customer service. We could have gone to a restaurant that is close to our home that night. It was a Saturday night...."

It seemed that a lot of friends/family of the staff may have been dining and they were getting a lot of attention. Our service was poor to average, yet service to some seemed excellent. The waiter staff never stopped moving and were very attentive. Food was great, especially the ceasar salad and caprese salad. Excellent starters. We ordered the Four Cheese pasta and split it. I would recommend visiting Pasta Brioni to anyone."

  • "This is one of the best Italian restaurants in the Valley. We have been going there at least a few times each season. On this occasion the serving of mussels was about half the size that it had been previously and they were out of their signature veal chop which we have pounded out parmesan style. It was disappointing because we had friends in from out of town and had made over how great this place was. Don't get me wrong, the meal was still very good as they have a very good selection and we all found something we enjoyed. We will of course return. Hopefully they won't slip again."

  • "Pasta B had a nice menu with good specials. I enjoyed the seafood risotto and my niece had spaghetti and meatballs. I also enjoyed a Ceasar salad and the bread was also delicious. The interior is old east coast Italian and the waitstaff are friendly and fun. I had a glass of the house Pinot Grigio and it was very good. We took the Marscapone cheesecake and red velvet cheesecake home for dessert and. Both were very good. I would take friends there again."

  • "Normally go to Pasta Brioni's for lunch until recently when it was closed for lunch. Was having dinner with out-of-town friends and thought of it as close to work and great food. So I made a reservation. Wow. I had forgotten how good the food and service were here. And I learned that they are now open again for lunch. I was taking a peer to lunch the following day for his birthday so we went there again. He, too, couldn't believe it had been so long since we have had the great food for lunch. You won't go wrong here. It's the whole package."
