"The food was good, but for the price I expected something more. Decor was basic and modern, and the chairs weren't particularly comfortable. Our waitress was merely adequate; it seemed like she didn't want to be there."

"I had a couple people recommend Passiofish. I thought the food was good, not great for a restaurant at that level (but I am from Baltimore and picky about crab...). The service was great (on par with an upscale chain). People also talked about it being a beautiful restaurant being really gorgeous and sit upstairs. We did request a table upstairs, but again it was OK, nothing great. The only reason I said I would not recommend it is because I thought it was jut OK. I would not tell people not to go if they wanted to."

"We dine there several times a year. this time we notified them it was our anniversary. They served special personalized menus for us, knew and addressed us by name, and offered a complimentary dessert. Very nice and unexpected. The quality of the food was excellent as always. The raw oysters were particularly fresh and nicely briny, and we know and love oysters. My wife had the Dynamite Roll sushi, which was spectacular, and I had a great Halibut special."

"This is my second visit to the Reston Town Center location with business associates. The food is excellent. Impressive for business clients and associates. All were pleased with the variety of fish and appetizer dishes. Service detail could be improved a bit as the first course (apps and salads) took 20 minutes to arrive. Our reservation at 8:00 pm made dinner seem long due to the service lag times, but all in all a great experience. My guests were thorougly pleased."

"Thank you for providing well trained waiters. The person I was dining with has a wheat gluten alergy and the waiter had committed to memory the items that were allowed. That was very impressive. For example, hee knew that the calamari was rolled in corn flour and the rolls were made with rice paper (but we had to watch out for the soy sauce in the preparation). Overall, great food and great service!"

"Sushi to Desert was excellent. We were celebrating our 25 wedding anniversary and asked for a quite table through Open Table. Once again it pays to use OT, PassionFish gave us a great table and a wonderful waiter, Shane. He was very attentive. He also gave us some wonderful insight on the chef's food preparations. Which lead to some wonderful food suggestions like, Captain Crunch Sushi. We will definite be back."

"The food was really good. Started with the sushi which was awesome. I got the plantain crusted mahi mahi and my husband got something from the fresh catch list. If I had it to do over again I would have done that too because his halibut was delicious and the mahi mahi although very good, just seemed more typical. The wine was good. If you go as the sun is setting, make sure you don't sit facing the large windows as the sun can be pretty blinding if you are in the wrong spot."

"This is a very good restaurant for good food and an atmosphere conducive to conversation. Presentation is above average, especially given the less-than-ideal location - don't bother with outdoor dining unless you appreciate car exhaust and construction sites. The only thing that prevents a better rating is that PassionFish is rather pricey -- many main courses are in the high thirties, and sides, salads, etc. are extra. The first courses might be tempting, but they too are expensive. A light lunch for three people came to nearly $200 including tip."

"Pricey, but the food is and service is worth it. The floor plan is quite open, so I would probably skip this venue for a romantic date, but it's great for other special occasions. You have to seafood though, and make sure everyone in your party does - because the menu is quite limited on other options."
