Pasion - SFThe best tuna & ceviche! This was the best tuna that we've ever had. Serving it over tiny lentils was so tasty. Loved the halibut ceviche too. We liked that they were served with fried plantain chips too. Wonderful flavors. The service was great too. Attentive & efficient but unobtrusive.6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMConsistently delicious foodI've been here for the forth time and it's always wonderful food. The ceviche and all the seafood dishes are tasty. The service has always been very good, and was outstanding this last time.6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding Latin themed cuisineI chose this restaurant based on location and recommendations from Trip Advisor. I was so pleased to have an excellent dining experience. The turn ceviche was to die for! The Ahi Tuna dinner was incredible. Only complaint was the noise level. Made it tough talking during dinner.5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMService & foodGreat great service- forget his name! Ceviche was as fresh as ever. The drinks Pismo's were delicious. Don't leave without trying the lamb meatballs and the ceviche. We were wow-ed for sure. Latin cuisine that is fresh and innovative5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMCan't miss menu --great food!I've tried the ribeye, the pork chop, the whole fish, the paella, the ceviche, various sides, this place has great food. Of course I didn't eat all these things in one seating but over several visits. :) Fortunately for me I live 5 minutes away and currently my default place to go for a nice predictable and great meal. There is dining available at the bar or you can get an easy reservation via Opentable. Service in my many visits has been consistently great and I've not had any problems with the attentive servers and staff. I will be back and bringing other friends each time.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious!Went for brunch this past Sunday. We had a hard time finding parking because a street fair blocked off the entrance to some public parking nearby, but we called them and they were chill and saved our reserved table for us. We ordered the guacamole to start and it was served with perfect plantain, taro, and yucca chips. I ordered the hue is al horno and every bite was flavorful with just the right amount of spice and richness. The boyfriend had the tri-tip sandwich, of which I had a bite. The beef was tender and had an excellent rub. They kept my bottomless mimosas flowing: I never had to ask for a refill! All in all, it was a delicious brunch and we will be back.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMBottomless mimosasI came here for birthday brunch with a friend and I really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant; it seemed like everyone was having a good time. It was pretty noisy inside, but that just added to the energy of the place. The food was delicious; had the ceviche trio with plantains to start and I ordered the Pasion Lomito sandwich with sweet potato fries while my friend got a brunch order I'm forgetting, although it did consist of eggs benedict. The sandwich was really flavorful & rich and the ceviche was good. And bottomless mimosas for $12? Not bad at all. I would come back again to try different ceviche & maybe a brunch item.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMenjoyable !!this is my 2nd time went there w/my family, we have more than 7 people each time, so we sit on the same table both time....
the food is great, especially the Paella (sea food rice plate), little spicy with mixed fresh sea food....
it is a very good place for gathering, we will go again.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing FoodThis was my fourth time at Pasion and each time I am so pleased with the ambiance, the tasty food, and the attentive waitpersons. The bisque with shrimp was exceptional and the ceviche delicious. A true delight!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMReliably greatCreative, great ingredients, reliably satisfying. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Tends toward the adventurous. Recommend the pescado a la macho (whole fried fish that you flake off with a fork, surrounded by shellfish). One of the better values in SF.5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMNice upscale choice in Inner SunsetI love all of the cheap eats and modest restaurants in the Inner Sunset, but once in a while it's nice to splurge and have a foodie experience. Pasion fits the bill. They have an interesting mix of appetizers (try the ceviche and yucca fries!) and entrees. Their entree proportions are generous.4/29/2013 12:00:00 AMlove it everytimeceviches are awesome, this has become our go to spot in the neighborhood4/28/2013 12:00:00 AMGood food, and the staff wasGood food, and the staff was wonderful in accommodating our late arrival and deadline for leaving to catch a performance.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMPasion is one of the bestPasion is one of the best places in the Sunset. It does get a bit loud but the food is WAY worth not hearing the entire conversation.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMa delightful "find", perfecta delightful "find", perfect for lunch after visit to de Young.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMAwesome Place!I have been hearing about this place but had not had a chance to go. I was pleased with the food, service and the passion fruit I tried was yummy! I loved everything!4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWow,totally impressed by cuisine!Wow, I live in San Francisco and eat out a lot. This place is excellent in terms of fresh, top notch quality food. We were seated immediately, the place was packed and now we know why. The Lamb meatballs were a stand out dish. The squid ink rice was also a stand out dish. We had the paella, wow, fresh clams, mussels. Everything here was total class from the service to the food. Don't miss this place, and prices are reasonable!4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was outstanding! Small,Food was outstanding! Small, energetic location - great find.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent! Their ceviche is unreal!!3/26/2013 12:00:00 AMwonderful hostess and waitresswonderful hostess and waitress during brunch on 03/16/20133/16/2013 12:00:00 AMLove this place! EverythingLove this place! Everything about the food and service is outstanding!3/9/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food is excellent, theThe food is excellent, the wait staff very attentive, the wine great. The only issue I have is the noise level is just awful. Mostly it has to do with the acoustics. There is no muffling ability in the place - and if you get a group of women - or even one women with a high pitched loud laugh - it is actually very loud to the point that you think she (or they) are sitting right next to your ear.2/28/2013 12:00:00 AMThe ceviche sampler was outstandingThe ceviche sampler was outstanding. That was just our appetizer...I could see going back multiple times to try all of the various ceviches for my main entree. Excellent and creative! Great service too.2/16/2013 12:00:00 AMI continue going to PasionI continue going to Pasion because the food is wonderful and everyone is incredibly friendly, top that off with never having to flag down a waiter to refill your water and I'm sold. I especially enjoyed the wine pairing with your Valentine's Day fixed menu, as well as the intro chef's specialty that was included and was absolutely amazing.2/14/2013 12:00:00 AMI went knowing a little aboutI went knowing a little about the Chef because he was the major influence in Fresca which is my favorite restaurant in SF. Wow I was amazed at the food, the site, the service. We had ceviche it was divine....Sangria was delicious.... and the Paella magnificent. Gracias1/20/2013 12:00:00 AM
