Diner Reviews
  • "Our first trip to Paseo Grill was a special occasion celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary and we could not have picked a better restaurant in OKC. Our waitress Katie was very attentive, knowledgeable, and honest regarding the menu and her service was excellent. Following our main course, we were greeted by the manager who personally wished us a happy anniversary. We will definitely be returning."

  • "I had a special dish made for me ... Chicken Oscar and it was outstanding. It needs to be a menu item or at least a "special". A new item was also served... creamed corn. I don't like cream corn but it was unbelievably wonderful."

  • "Unfortunately, the food and service seem to decline just a bit each visit. I ordered medium-well duck on my salad and it came medium-rare at best. Tea was hardly refilled...and we were one of only 5 tables eating in the entire restaurant at the time. No excuses."

  • "My significant other rarely wants to drive "back to the city" but even he said it was worth it! A little pricey but sometimes you actually get what you pay for. I even had a spot on wine recommendation from my server! Good Job."

  • "One of OKC's culinary jewels is Paseo Grill, located in the Paseo District (a funky artists district just north of Downtown). It's an intimate place with little curtained alcoves; low, subdued lighting; and patio dining. They do American fare (mostly steaks and seafood) with a Continental flair (they actually use sauces), and they do it quite well. Everything we had (especially the smoked salmon appetizer, duck breast, and "surf & turf" with scallops and crab in place of lobster) looked and tasted great. Our desserts were beautiful and delicious. They offer a thoughtful, affordable wine list, and their well-trained servers provide expertise without pretension. All OKC restaurants should take lessons from Paseo Grill. Highly recommended."

  • "To celebrate two birthdays, our group of four had no trouble selecting food from four different tastes. Good wine and liquor selection. Love the curtains for privacy and were treated to a special birthday treat."

  • "We always love dining at Paseo Grill. The atmosphere is great; it is quiet and always enjoyable. The food is great. The only problem we had was the service was a little slow. I think it was the kitchen that was slow. There weren't many people there, but it seemed like it took a long time to get our food. Otherwise, it was great."

  • "Our first visit to Paseo Grill was terrific. We showed up early for our reservation but were seated immediately in an intimate curtained booth. The food was very good overall; my duck breast was perfect with very generous servings. The Southwestern meatloaf was also a big hit, although the glazed carrots were a bit too sweet. The generously-sized hummus appetizer was good but unexciting and a bit too thick, but the kalamata olive tapenade was very tasty on the warm pita. The spinach salad was also very good. The wine list is good, with typical restaurant markups. We enjoyed the bottle of South African Pinotage that we ordered, even though it was one of the least expensive wines on the menu. Also: excellent service and friendly staff!"

  • "Very intimate decor. I was with 2 other guys so it felt a bit strange. Food was overall good but I wish the duck had been cooked a bit more."

  • "We have been to Paseo Grill many times. The food is consistently very good. The little berries and cream at the end is a perfect way to end the meal. The atmosphere is very interesting and quiet. We especially like the booths with the little veiled drape for privacy. The staff is efficient and friendly. Always enjoy our evening there!"

  • "We went to Paseo Grill for the first time for our anniversary. We spent roughly $100 dollars but could have easily got by with spending $60-70. A great restaurant for any occasion providing an excellent atmosphere, excellent food at a reasonable price in my opinion. We'll have a date about every month or so where we spend $30-$50 a plate. We'll be back to the Paseo Grill"

  • "This was our first trip to the Grille and I must say we were not disappointed. Even though we are not frequent restaurant goers, but for special occasions we enjoy nice, quiet restaurants. It was my husbands Birthday last year. My husband had the Chilean Bass and it was delicious. I had the seafood special and could not have enjoyed it more. This is my first restaurant review but since we decided to return this year for my husbands birthday again it just seemed appropriate to share how much we enjoyed our visit."

  • "The food was good but not as good as other places for the same price (except the mushroom soup, that's hard to beat). The server was very nice but the service itself was really really slow. Every course took way to long to come out. And it wasn't a busy night at all."

  • "Every time we go to Paseo Grill our expectations are met and exceeded. The food is amazing. The service is impeccable. The key lime pie... You MUST try! Ok, wait! Make sure you leave some for the next time I go! The atmosphere is very romantic and quaint. It's also a great spot for double dates. I would recommend getting your reservation in advance! This is one of OKC's hidden gems!"

  • "We have dined here regularly, and the food is always wonderful! I gave fewer stars for service this time since our energetic server seemed to forget us too often. Although she had a captivating personality, her efficiency needs improvement. Perhaps she was new, but she never stayed around long enough for us to ask. And, we had to ask someone else to bring us another glass of wine. Disappointing, but forgivable. We will definitely return and encourage everyone to try the sea bass....."

  • "If the restaurant's meat supplier represents the meat as "prime" they better find a new provider. Mine was full of gristle. Also tasted like it was seared in burnt oil."

  • "I know Cream of Mushroom is not everyone's idea of a great start to a meal. Take a leap of faith and give this a try! I have introduced a dozen or more people to the soup at Paseo Grill and they are all believers now. I often joke that they should serve it with a straw to be sure to get every last drop. Full of button mushrooms, a rich cheese and lots of creamy/oniony goodness, it is my favorite soup of any restaurant in OKC. The meatloaf is, likewise, amazing, as is the Pot Pie, if you get there while it is still available. The space is small but comfortable and perfect for a business lunch. Great food all the way around but you will be really sorry to have skipped on the soup!"
