Favorite neighborhood bistro! There's always a lovely selection of seasonal specials (I have no idea how the chef turns out such a yummy variety in what must be the tiniest kitchen in NYC). Service attentive but not annoying. Terrific prix fixe, too.

The ambiance of the restaurant is good, but it is too crowded. I often found myself hitting elbows with the people sitting next to me.
The food was extremely bland. The mushroom and gruyere omelet was large, but tasteless. On an upside, the desserts were tasty.
The Bloody Mary was very tasty, and I highly recommend it.
Overall, I felt that the service was very poor. While we were in the middle of eating our appetizers the waiters came up to our table and placed the entrees on the table. In addition, they would often throw spoons and utensils onto the table rather than placing them. It was a rather jarring experience, and I'm not sure as to the reason that they behaved in this way.
