Don't miss this one!5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMA bit overpriced but 2 ofA bit overpriced but 2 of us enjoyed our selections. The other 2 found the beef bourguinon to be quite bland.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was one of the best diningThis was one of the best dining experiences we have had in the Tampa Bay area. It is classical French cuisine that is presented in a terrific environment. We even enjoyed the PANDORA music that was selected!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMA petite surpriseA cozy, bright white, fine French style bistro in Safety Harbor.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMExceptional Dining ExperienceThe beautifully renovated bungalow on a side street in the heart of downtown Safety Harbor, is the setting for an exquisite culinary experience.
We chose to dine inside at a charming window table, covered with crisp white linens, and a candle. The room is reminiscent of a bistro in Saint Michel section of Paris. Our server was welcoming, and reviewed the menu with us. We shared the charcuterie of pâtés and warm toast points, then a salad of fresh greens with warm goat cheese on crispy toast. For the main courses, we chose rack of lamb and the special trout. We enjoyed a fine wine from the Cote du Rhone region of south of France. This truly was an exceptional dining experience, prepared by a young talented chef, in a lovely setting.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMThe mussels were great. TheThe mussels were great. The duck was also very well prepared but a bit small in portion. Pate appetizer was wonderful. The escargot was pricy for what we got. Other than that, a great restaurant.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat FindWe'd been wanting to try Parts of Paris for a while and it did not let us down! the food was amazing. We were visiting my mother in Palm Harbor, and wanted to take her for to a nice restaurant. Since we love French cuisine, I found Parts of Paris in opentable, and we were happily surprised!
Located in a quiet neighborhood, the all the food was terrific - my husband loved the fois gras, and the service was attentive.
We will definately be back on our next trip down!
Julie Daly4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMWe both had the night's tastingWe both had the night's tasting menu. it was delicious. the large scallop with foie gras was favorful and light. The recommended wine pairings included a glass of Kronenbourg Blanc, a fruity white beer (from France) with citrus notes. It was a delight. The red wine from Medoc had the familar old world "must" flavor. The theme for the evening was "twins" because the main entree was two filets, each prepared in a different style. One was called "breakfast" and the other "dinner". The dessert was also two items, an ice cream layer between heavy choclate biscuits, and a delicious strawberry mousse. A sweet moscato concluded the visit. The service was attentive from the moment we arrived.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMOur first visit was everythingOur first visit was everything we expected. We have already booked another reservation.4/15/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food, service and wineThe food, service and wine were amazing, we are teling all our family and friends4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMParis looked empty upon ourParis looked empty upon our early arrival, but it did not stay that way for long, and reservations are de rigueur.
Chris was our server and chef-in-training for the evening, offering excellent advice on menu choices for food and wine, and giving us a little background on Parts of Paris. For instance, the chef de cuisine, sous chef, and most of the kitchen staff are under 25 years of age. As the evening progressed we continued to be amazed that these people could perfect their craft at such an young age.
Food, wine, and service were all outstanding at Parts of Paris which makes a return visit a part of our future.
Our total bill came to a very reasonable $153.01. Chris deserved the 20% gratuity we added to that total.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMDaughter Daddy night out!The event was Daughter Dad weekly date night. The PARTS of PARIS was all we would want, and more than I expected. Holly was definitely a 5 Star server. The ambiance was lovely, and we'll certainly return soon! Thank you. Willie & Mettayya4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst TimeOn the negative side, there was too much salt on the fries and steak. Next time we will advise beforehand. We had hoped for a few more "pinot noir" choices. And unfortunately, no Calvados was on hand because of your restricted liquor license (not a big deal). The foie gras was excellent as was the desert (lemon tart). We will be back!!4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMOpen less than a year, inOpen less than a year, in historic downtown Safety Harbor. Up an coming, will chcj back on our next visit.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our second visitThis was our second visit to Parts of Paris and the experience could not have been better. The appetizers were terrific. We had the lobster bisque, the charcutierie plate, and the jamon salad. The duck breast was outstanding as was the delmonico steak with blue cheese and the NY strip. We had no room for dessert but may skip the appetizer next time to try that end of the meal. Our server was attentive but not versed in how to describe red wine. That was not a problem and we will keep Parts of Paris on our favorites list for return visits.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMWhat a fantastic dinner. What a fantastic dinner. We had a leisurely dinner al fresco. The fois gras was incredible! Absolutely recommend the filet. The mussels were cooked to perfection and the cheese plate was to die for! Phenomenal selection of wines topped off the evening! This is a must go to restaurant in the heart of quaint Safety Harbor!3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a delightful threeWe had a delightful three generation Birthday dinner for my husbands' 75th.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMA taste of Paris in Safety HarborMy wife and I wanted to try someplace we hadn't been to before. We are big fans of Epcot's Chefs de France so we decided to compare Parts of Paris. What a wonderful place. My wife loved that they had converted a house into the restaurant. We were offered a table inside or outside. It was pretty noisy inside and the weather was nice, so we sat outside. We shared a bottle of Chardonnay. The food was delicious. We started with a salad and bowl of french onion soup. The soup was different from Chefs de France, but in a good way. For our main course my wife had the Bouillabaisse and I ordered the Filet Mignon. Both were fantastic. We look forward to returning. This place is definitely "a hidden gem".3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMA night of pure French perfectionAs a very jaded New Yorker I was pleasently surprised. It was the first local French restaurant I have eaten at since I moved here 11 yrs ago . The Foie Gras dissolves as it touches your tongue,so perfectly prepared. The bouillaise was perfect with the most wonderful & lightest sauce I have ever had. The sea bass fell apart it was so done
to perfection. Steak for my dining partner was equally perfect and melted in your mouth. For dessert the chocolate mousse was as light as air and as with everything that preceded it--done to perfection.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding flavors that wakeOutstanding flavors that wake up your palate. However, very, very expensive...3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMReal French Bistro in Safety HarborParts of Paris bistro is an absolute hidden gem. It is a french-style bistro with upscale food, but a relaxed atmosphere. The chef there is excellent! He usually comes out to personally greet each table and his food is fantastic. The owner is also almost always there and makes you feel welcome. If you are in the Clearwater or Safety Harbor area, you must try Parts of Paris.3/14/2013 12:00:00 AMWe live in NE St Pete andWe live in NE St Pete and this was our first visit but will certainly not be our last:-)3/11/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is a total French gemThis is a total French gem !
