We love their 5 course wine and food pairing menus. The wines are excellent and the pours are ample but not too much. Much of the food and herbs come from their garden but is it is all seasonal and local.

This is our first time dining at Partake. Partake is actually the Kendall Jackson tasting venue in Healdsburg which now open for dinner. This dining experience was extraordinary from the food to the service! It started out with a blind tasting of one wine paired with a small bite which was complimentary. The tempura mushrooms in grape seed skin batter and red wine were the best we ever had! The mushrooms are a special variety grown in Petaluma. It was one of those wow food moments. Everything that followed was equally delicious. Our waitress was outstanding explaining every dish including preparation and ingrediants. The chef even came out to spend some time discussing the dishes with us. The restaurants is small and quaint. It is usually booked so recommend making an open table reservation at least a week in advance. The menu can be pricy depending on how many appetizers you order but they were all extremely good. It was my friends birthday, so they brought her out a cheesecake custard with bacon which we all agreed was the best desert we had ever tasted! We will definitely be back!

My wife has been to almost every restaurant in healdsburg, and she had said this is one of her favorites. Low server to patron ratio, and the chef came tableside to proudly explain his art. Probably the best seared duck I have ever had.

I have been to Partake several times when it served bites and tastes and was always pleased with the experience. They have taken the step to be a full meal restaurant and it was a fabulous experience. I took 3 friends who had never been before and we enjoyed the tasting menu which was extraordinary! The pairing of the wine with the different dishes was perfect and we agreed we were all coming back.

We had the tasting menu with paired wine. The food and pairings were delicious! In particular, the salmon gravlax course and Chardonnay pairing was outstanding, as well as, the Roasted Sunchoke Soup with Duck Confit and Pinot was incredible. The kitchen was so nice that they allowed us to add a group dish of their gnocchi which was not on our menu, but, which we also wanted to taste..it too was a favorite. Service was perfect... This was a special celebration for the four of us at dinner and the food and wine made it so!

Menu has recently changed from small plates to somewhat more traditional entrees/appetizers list with two prix fixe menus with wine pairings, four courses at $65 and five at $75 or $85. We're local--we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, well prepared, interesting departures from what has become the wine country norm of "grilled something. Appetizers were especially good. KJ wine is not the best and that's a disadvantage; I would be a little hesitant to order a la carte and have to buy bottles of KJ wine. The parings worked however, and I thought were overall a good value. Interior is nice, small, a few too many mirrors. Service was professional, attentive and enthusiastic. Chintzy paper towels in bathrooms though!

This was to be my 6th visit to Partake by KJ. My first visit was very nice and we all enjoyed the menu when they first opened then I took a group and nearly everything that was a big hit the first time was not on the menu and no one was impressed with their dinner so I didn't plan on going back but this spring some neighbors in SF were coming up for a visit and she made reservations so we went back and it was fabulous so I spread the word and a number of my friends went and loved it and we went back with another couple and it was awesome, had a friend come up last Friday and she had not been so I made a reservation but when I sat down and looked at the totally new menu we got up and walked out, the prices had nearly doubled.

We dine here more now than ever because of the quality and flavor of the fare and wines. The staff is very knowledgeable of the offerings and are always pleasant to deal with it. Though Healdsburg is known for it's food and beverage scene, Partake is definitely deserving of being considered for a great dining experience along with any of the top local restaurants.

Staff was very attentive. We did the chef's tasting menu with wine pairing. Food was outstanding and farm-to-table fresh as expected, with great wines paired. It is a Kendall Jackson restaurant, so one should be aware that the wines will all be KJ rather than outside labels. Only reason we didn't give a 5 was the ambiance was a bit cold/open.

What a surprise that the food at Partake was so great. The wine wasn't too interesting (they left off the best wines offered by KJ), but the food is spectacular. The arugula salad was excellent and the crab cakes were the best that I've had in a long time.

A great spot for pairing wine with food. The gourmet chef creates great food options paired with excellent KJ varietals for a taste explosion! The cabernet French fries are a special treat as were the mushrooms fried in wine skin flour. The wagu beef was also excellent, paired with the excellent cab. Service was excellent and the blind wine tasting was fun! An excellent way to visit Sonoma! But maker sure you allow extra time should you come up 101 from San Fran. Hopefully the construction work will be completed soon.

My husband and I have had some wonderful meals in the past and Partake is among the best! My husband usually doesn't like mushrooms, but he was fighting me for the miatake mushrooms. The food was all delicious from the heirloom tomato salad to the duck three ways. The wine parings were great, and it was interesting to taste the differences in the wine in relation to the food. I can't say enough about the service, it was outstanding. We will definitely go back on our next visit to CA. We also made sure to tell our west coast family and friends to treat themselves to a terrific experience.

We come to Healdsburg in the summer every year. We were hesitant to go to Partake because we thought it might be too commercial. We were wrong. The food was excellent, the wine pairing was wonderful. The tasting was 2 oz, but Earl slipped us an extra (hope I don'g get Earl in trouble) Earl was very knowledgeable and informative with the wine and food pairings. Justin, the chef, came out and spoke to us and even gave us his card, encouraged us to visit the KJ winery for the wine tasting. On the downside it was a little noisy and hard for us to hear, hope they can change that somehow.

We went to Partake for a light anniversary dinner and to taste some KJ wines. The room looks out to Healdsburg Avenue so you can see the people traffic in the quiet of the room. The service was excellent and helpful as there are many choices of both food and wine. We are locals so are quite familiar with many of the Sonoma County wineries. KJ has consistently good wines and many are in the more affordable price range. We are members of seven local wine clubs but after these tastings we made it eight. The food was very good and went well with our wine selections. I will definitely go back.

The wait staff is great, although I do think they are understaffed when the place is busy. When new patrons come, the servers have very long spiels to give regarding the various wines lined up to pair with food. They are all extremely knowledgeable but get so tied up with explaining things that us folks that have been there many times and know the drill end up waiting quite awhile to order. Once ordered, the food pops out quickly though. We do love the place, prefer when they aren't swamped of course, but we went at a busy time on a Saturday night, our bad!

The noise in this restaurant is overwhelming. There was a fairly large group next to us having a normal, lively conversation, not loud or obnoxious at all, but it was so loud that my daughter and I had to lean in to hear each other talk. I don't know how a space can be made quieter, but they really need to work on that. The waiter even apologized for the noise level. The service was very good. The wait staff were all attentive and very pleasant. We picked five dishes to share with the wine pairings, which was a perfect amount of food for us. The lamb sliders and the beef were really exceptional. The calamari dish was not bad, but it's certainly nothing I would ever order again.

I booked this not realizing it was a quasi tasting room for Kendall Jackson wines. However, we were not disappointed. The food stood on its own, and paired very well with the KJ wines. One of our party ordered the cheese plate and the rest of us ordered the Chef's vegetarian tasting menu. Although items can be ordered a la carte, the Tasting Menus are the way to go. Overall, we had a very nice lunch and everyone was happy. This place is good for everyone from a casual diner up to a serious foodie.

Any table you are at, you feel like you are the only ones in the restaurant. The staff makes it a very personal experience. Our favorites were the coriander brined chicken wings and the tempura Maitake Mushrooms!...oh, and then there was the red wine fries, the Tomato Risotto....and last but not least, the Kobe Sliders.
