It was much quieter than the upstairs and stayed pretty quiet until it got later and more families started showing up with babies. It was still just fine and we could hear perfectly well. The wait staff was very friendly and let us stay for a long time after dinner/dessert until we asked for the check. The price-fixe menu was fantastic. I hadn't realized that it was for weekdays and not just Restaurant Week! We will definitely be going back. My companion and I shared an egg, bacon and spinach frittata which was very tasty. We also shared a chopped salad which was good, although I think this should have contained beans which I did not find in the salad. Noise level is energetic. I recommend sitting in the side tables near the windows. Hands down, best one I've ever had. I usually get the Eggs Benedict, which is traditionally served on english muffins but here they serve it on a yummy biscuit....it's fantastic. Usually brunch fills me up but I was with a group that wanted dessert so I gave in and had the tiramasu. Oh my goodness, it is served in a glass & it was absolutely HEAVENLY! I wish i could give Parlor 10 stars. The food is always great, the staff is friendly and the wine list is impressive. We have never been disappointed when we chose to dine here. The food, the service, the ambience, and the wonderful muffins were such a nice experience on an otherwise rainy day. We went there for brunch with our teenage daughter on Easter and had a great meal; my wife and I were so impressed that we returned to celebrate our wedding anniversary on a Saturday evening.
The restaurant was very busy but the service was attentive and prompt, the food was delicious, the wine list expansive and with good choices at all price points. We had a lovely meal and Parlor Steakhouse even bought us dessert to say happy anniversary.

For girls nights, couples nights and date nights!!! The only reason I am giving Parlor 4 stars instead of 5 is because this latest trip was during a March madness game night. Usually it's fairly quiet, with only an occasional "Yeah" or "NO!" But this time, the noise was deafening! Additionally, they recently changed their seasonal food items. The pasta dish I ordered was SUPER SALTY. I didn't eat very much of it, when the waiter noticed that I wasn't enjoying my meal, he asked if he could get me something else. They immediately took the pasta dish off the check and offered me a desert on the house.
