We eat here on occasion, it has gotten better and better. Everything is consistent. People are genuine. My husband had Ahi skewers the other night and they were tasty tasty, tasty/ In addition the lamb chops are always yummy.

"
Just the smell of the towering Redwoods and a peak at the deer in the meadow across the road is worth the short drive to Parkside Grille in Portola Valley. Add to that, great food and a warm atmosphere, and you have the makings of a "go to" spot when you need a mid-week escape. Just don't let them put the bread on the table if you have any hope of staying "carb neutral" It's very yummy.

This is a greet local restaurant and we always run into friends when we eat here. It is more quiet in the side rooms. The main restarurant can get a bit noisy. Food was very good and service was great.

Crazy busy on Friday night in early Spring -- No room to park in the parking lot -- Isn't this why we go out in the country, to the far reaches of Portola Valley, to escape the suburban city crowds for some pastoral peace and quiet? Granted I think we were at the noisiest table in the restaurant...All that said, Parkside Grille is a great spot. And since there is not much else around, it would be crowded regardless. And the food deserves kudos, always tasty and reasonably creative without being pretentious. A nice night out in the country but not very far from anything.

Some of the food was very good, but I rated it a "good" because the special I got was so rich that it was hard to eat. My salad was so-so, lacked a flavorful dressing but nice idea, (scallop salad). However the big hits at the table were the jalopeno chicken dish and the yummy desserts! The bread and coffee was very good too!

This is a great restaurant. would definitely dine here again. The wine list is large, and everyone at my table had a great meal. Definitely try the goat cheese appetizer, but order extra bread, because it's to die for!
