Parks EdgeGreat BrunchGreat spot for brunch! I enjoyed the Shrimp & Grits dish featured on the brunch menu. Excellent service. I will be back!6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMsuch a cute place! the ownersuch a cute place! the owner came around to speak and make sure everything was good. i will be back for sure! the night i went a screaming toddler showed up, this is not the kind of place i would bring a child to. to me its an unwind after a crazy work week, date night, girls night kind of place. for those of you that have children, please think about that.6/14/2013 12:00:00 AMDecent fare and friendly staffWe sought out Parks Edge after an impulsive Half Off Depot purchase. We were nervous after watching the Chef Ramsey rescue restaurant or whatever episode. The goat cheese and something appetizer dip was delicious but the veggie chips tasted a little less fresh than I'd want. The wine list was basic, really good ordinary choices. I had the Malbec. The entrees we chose were both spicy. One you would expect from shrimp and grits and one you would not from lobster Mac and cheese. It was still good, despite the run of the mill elbow noodles, uncooked onions as garnish and giant chunks of cooked garlic. Even with the coupon our meal was pricey for two drinks, an app and two entrees, no sides6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMSlice of life in Midtown AtlantaJust off the Freedom Parkway Trail and at a seat on the patio , you can watch the Atlanta scene stroll or bike by while dining well . You can even bring your well-behaved dog or dogs. Excellent service from the friendly waite staff and tasty dishes. We had the steak , Mahi-mahi and mussels in garlicky wine sauce. The cabbage slaw that topped my fish was fabulous. My husband's shrimp, pesto pasta that was the special for the evening was outstanding. Just a great place for the two of us!6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMfirst dateI normally go to parks edge wit friends but this time I took a date. The food and service is always great and place itself is perfect.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMlooking for a viewWe were seated with a view directly in front of the emergency exit door. Since we were virtually the first diners in at 7 PM there was nothing to prevent us from asking for a change; it really wasn't a problem at the time, either. Just a recollection. We could have been seated outside or at a more intimate table.....if everything else wasn't so good I may not have thought of this.5/29/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat stop!My boyfriend and I came down to Atlanta specifically to go to this restaurant so obviously we built it up in our minds a bunch and thank God for Chef Jorge who made the stop unforgettably delicious. The scallops stick out in my mind and the burger in my boyfriend's, he loves the sauce. The wait staff was very helpful and friendly and the atmosphere was warm and comfortable. The magnetic knives were also an added bonus.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMAll-around fantastic!Excellent service, ambiance is great, the menu is small but the preparation was perfection. The co-owners came to our table to insure that we were satisfied with everything. The outdoor dining area was excellent.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMOur New Atlanta FavoriteWhen Tierra closed, we thought we'd never find another restaurant good enough to fill the void but Parks Edge definitely is a keeper. The food is exceptional and service is over-the-top. Don't want to praise the restaurant too highly or we'll have trouble getting a reservation.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMJust another Excellent MealThe salmon with capers was from some gastronomic planet in a flavorful galaxy. Tha calimari was superb , tender and tasty. The service was impeccable and the ambiance sublime. You can't go wrong with this place; the food is ...well...better than best , the drinks outstanding and the total experience more than memorable. We have eaten here a number a times and have never been remotely disappointed.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat for BrunchThe ambiance, and food was great. Enjoyed everything was the perfect Mother's Day brunch thank you5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWORTH EVERY PENNY!Parks Edge is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. As a self-acclaimed 'foodie', every time I've gone, I've certainly gotten my money's worth when it came to quality and freshness of food, service, and overall experience. The brunch is wonderful and dinner is especially pallet pleasing. A definite MUST!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's Day BrunchI hosted my moms group 1st Annual Mother's Day Brunch at Park's Edge! The ambience was so nice, and the food was amazing. Oh, yes the mimosas 'bottomless' might I add; were a nice add-on too! We enjoyed our experience and will be back!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful dinning experienceThis was our first visit to Parks Edge but it will not be our last. The food was superb! Our server Melanie was very helpful with details about the foods offered and about the wine offerings. Everything was presented with a the attitude that if this isn't exactly right we'll find something else that is right. Since everything was outstanding we didn't get to test out this promise. We plan to be back.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent ChoiceI had an excellent meal at Park's Edge. The service was great and the food was better. I usually go to restaurants and order the same thing to avoid being disappointed but at Park's Edge, I order a different main course every time I visit the restaurant and have been surprised each time. My appetizer was fried oysters and my main course was pistachio crusted trout on top of mashed sweet potatoes. I can't wait to return to this restaurant to try a new dish because there is always something different on the menu when I visit the next time, which is creative and delicious.5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways stop in when I am in town!Great little cozy place. Kinda off the beaten path in Inman Park. Always my go to place if I cannot make a dinner decision when I am in town. Always know I will receive good service and great food!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat night out!Small restaurant with great service and delicious food. Overall great experience. First time eating here. The chef came out to greet our table. Nice touch.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMPark's Edge awesome foodThe food was outstaning, I got the Trout and my wife the Flank Steak. The owner greeted us personally when we arrived, and the all of the staff memebers were very pleasant and accommodating.
The food was outstanding and we will return soon!!4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was awesome! ServiceFood was awesome! Service needs to be fine tuned a little. Especially the busser and food runner. Overall good experience and I would recommend to others ab d will be back.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMIt was our first time at Park'sIt was our first time at Park's Edge and we were really impressed. Honestly one of the best meals I have had in Atlanta in some time. Very nice!4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food - but loudExcellent shimp and grits entree. Tough to carry on a conversation with the person across the table. Very noisy due to the hard wood floors and vaulted ceiling - nothing to soak up the sound.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious brunch!I just went to Park's Edge for the first time last weekend. We had a larger group (10 + baby) but they were willing and able to accommodate us. The food was excellent and the service was good. They also have bottomless mimosas/bellinis with their brunch for just $11pp. And unlike some other places that do bottomless mimosas, they give you a carafe for your table so it doesn't take forever to get more drinks. All around - great experience and definitely will be coming back!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Southern with Mexican flavorsTried for restaurant week and glad we did. Best appetizer was the chicken tostada. Delicious! We could have ordered several of those as our meal. We asked for it extra spicy, so that helped. The ahi wontons were good, but nothing compared to the chicken. The shrimp and grits were also very tasty, better than the honey marinated steak which was good, but needed some sauce or something to go with the potatoes. Overall a great meal and we will go back. Love the blend of southern food with Latin/Mexican flavors. Already planning to try out their brunch!4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent! The GM receivedExcellent!
The GM received us and invited us to a round on drinks. The food was delicious.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMRestaurant Week GemI always love to visit Park's Edge for dinner, but my favorite is during restaurant week when I get to try something new!4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMTop choice for any occasion!!!Bottomless bellinis and mimosas...need I say more? Actually, there is a lot more to Parks Edge and it's not just limited to the food and drinks. I always get indecisive with the menu because everything is GREAT!!! They have a lovely outdoor sitting area especially when the weather is permitting and the indoor dining areas have a certain ambiance that suits your experience whether you're on a date with that special someone or hanging out with your friends. The staff are always helpful and always energetic making the experience just as grand as the last visit. This is a place I have grown to love and has become a birthday or a "just cause" treat for both Brunch and Dinner.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMI am in love with this restaurant!I am in love with this restaurant! I recently visited this past Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The food was amazing! Who would have thought blueberries and white chocolate went in pancakes? The service was great as well. Everyone works together to make sure glasses stay full and tables are always pre-bussed. I recommend this restaurant to anyone, just don't go in large groups.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMOooh La LaI love this place! The food is awesome. I had the mussels and scallops. oooh la la!4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMWe love Parks Edge every weWe love Parks Edge every we go. We will be back.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was an amazing restaurantThis was an amazing restaurant and I don't think you should live or visit the Atlanta area without visiting this gem. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the food, the wine and the area. I had dinner on the patio and it was perfect, soft music playing birds singing, the faint sounds of people enjoying the park across the street and an amazing meal.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our third visit. This was our third visit. The food is consistently good (Scallops fresh and flavorful. Chicken Cutlets delicious.) The restaurant has a feel good experience. The service is friendly, helpful and attentive. Look forward to our next visit.4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMThe coupon provides that entreesThe coupon provides that entrees can be ordered up to $24. When I ordered a sirloin steak (price $27) I assumed I would pay the additional charge.
The waiter returned to say that it was not offered and would cause a $9.00 up charge to be ordered. I teach math and would be glad to tutor the management concerning differences4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was great!!! AndThe food was great!!! And our waiter was very good....although it was super busy!3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMI made a last minute reservationI made a last minute reservation for Easter brunch through OpenTable and they had actually been booked for a week. The host called me and said he could fit us in at the bar, which was great! We enjoyed an awesome brunch and the $11 bottomless mimosa/bellini special. I had the croissant sandwich with bacon, egg, and cheese and it was sooooo good! My friend had the fish and grits which was also very good.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a wonderful EasterWe had a wonderful Easter brunch at Park's Edge. The bottomless mimosas are a great addition to a good menu.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMWe went for Sunday brunch. We went for Sunday brunch. The food was excellent. The service was impeccable. I believe it was only quiet because it was Easter Sunday & church ran late, so it was crowded and we had an early reservation. Only down note, no bottomless mimosas or bellinis before 12:30 in GA. I'll have to schedule the next appointment later.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMBest brunch in Atlanta!Bottomless mimosas and great food and service make this atlanta's best brunch destination! (And I've tried most!). Beware that parking can be difficult and the crowd can get rowdy, however if you're in search of a quieter experience go on a nice day and ask to be seated on the less noisy patio area. I had the French toast and chicken sausage, my girlfriend had the shrimp and grits - both excellent choices. I've been here before and tried the salmon Benedict and it was wonderful. The dishes vary in size so be sure to ask your server to recommend a dish that fits your hunger level. Our server was Amy and she was great! We'll definitely be back!3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMI hosted a Mother and DaughterI hosted a Mother and Daughter Brunch and Parks Edges was so accommodating to all my request. Our server Jeremy was great and truly made our day extremely special. He could have used some help as we were a party of 18. I think in the future they should allow 2 servers for 18 women. He was an excellent server and will we will continue you frequenting Parks Edge. You gotta love their Fish and Grits.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMMemorable BirthdayThis tucked-away gem was a wonderful choice for our daughter's 30th birthday celebration. The area is trendy, with eclectic shops around the corner. We enjoyed brunch with endlessly refilled glasses of bellinis and mimosas for only $11 per person. Be sure to check the menu prices before ordering, because the $10 charge for an average Bloody Mary was extreme. The service was friendly and accommodating. Chef Jorge put in several appearances, and made a scrumptious birthday brownie just for the birthday girl.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMPark Edge's is my go to spotPark Edge's is my go to spot for brunch! Love love the Mimosa's and Bellini's. As well, it's a great spot for guest visiting town, my friends always love it.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AM
