Cost was too high for the level of brunch food items offered. The cost should have included a selection of beverages - even wine. Cakes were beautiful and very good, but slices were too large for a health conscious guest. Mini cup cakes would have been more appropriate. The location, the staff, the food, the organization of this restaurant was outstanding. Since it was Mother's Day there were mostly families with children, which meant the noise level was up a notch but the way the dining rooms are arranged, you hardly noticed. The food was excellent, the staff very friendly and professional. I would not hesitate to have a romantic evening or a large group there. We were there a few weeks before for an engagement party and I was not disappointed at all. We do not eat pork, and you know every place likes to add it for flavor, but the chef was kind enough to make a salad for the table without bacon. That was awesome. Our waitress did a great job. The staff lingers at the table until you cut the steak to assure the doneness is to your liking. We have eaten at all the signature steakhouses in Buckhead and around town. Parkers is better. The food is always delicious, but when I received my Prime Rib, it was supposed to have au jous, but it looked & tasted like a reduction. It was dark & heavy and totally overpowered the delicate flavors of the Prime Rib. I pointed this out to the waiter & said they must have brought out the wrong gravy. He replaced it ... with the same reduction! Also, the lettuce was not chilled & was limp. Soggy Bibb lettuce is not appetizing. Wile the hubs and I are now on Weight Watchers, and this is a steak restaurant, we found good dining options. I was looking for a special place for my friends 60th anniv. All of the staff was very attentive and courteous to us. The service and food was very good. I had read some mixed reviews and was a little concerned as to what our experience would be, but we were very satisfied. We were seated in the large dining area. Next time I will prefer the main dining area. Overall a very nice dining experience for a special occasion. Great place for a graduation dinner, wedding rehearsal, shower, or any occasion when you need to gather a group. The quality of the service and food is always consistently wonderful. Highly. Why go to Chops or Bones when this humble, yet amazing steakhouse is right in Decatur. They offer such a great variety of beef and seafood. Be sure to try the calamari as well - melts in your mouth. Our recent meal there was wonderful, as always. From their creative cocktails to the tasty appetizer through the truly yummy meal, everything was a hit. We also appreciate the ease with which the folks at Parker's on Ponce will split dishes - like their house salad that has just the right combination of flavors! We'll keep coming back since there is always something new to try, plus some of the menu staples are our favorites. You can never go wrong with a steak (any of them!) plus the lobster mac and cheese is to die for, as are the shrimp and grits with andouille sausage. We specifically went on St. Patrick's Day because they advertised that they would be serving Irish Soda Bread, Guinness Beer and great corned beef and cabbage. We were very disappointed because they had no Guinness Beer, no Irish Soda Bread and the meal of Corned Beef and cabbage was not very good. So we will stick to steak or rib roast when we go again.
