"Easter. Exceeded expectations--always a good thing for a restaurant. Our waitress-Gail, I think ; I hope I'm right-was wonderful and, as servers always do--made all the difference. She always appeared at just the right time, was not overbearing or silly pretentious, and went the extra mile (one e.g.: when your line ran out of shrimp 'n' grits, she got my wife a bowl from the kitchen. Get her back if you can, please. Roast beef was excellent, and we're both home cooks and know good food when we eat out. If the shrimp in the shrimp 'n' grits weren't fresh, you fooled us. The cakes were very good. A couple more pie selections would've been nice, as would have a few more vegetable selections. Overall, bravi!"

"we were seated in a very dark corner of the restaurant...most of it is dark. Patio would be wonderful but there was a private party there. Turn the lights up or change the lighting. One should not need a flashlight to read the menu."

"The wait staff was excellent, the staff manning the buffet was unfriendly and less helpful. It was a beautfiful day to eat outside and we had the deck to ourselves. Had there been much more of a crowd it would not have been as nice. Food was good but would have preferred more vegtables and fewer pastries."

"The food was excellent. I ordered my steak medium rare but it came a little past medium. But I was on a time crunch so said nothing. However, it was still very good. Presentation was very nice.
The decor and ambiance are superb.
A little pricey -- like $3-5 more per entree than I thought it was worth.
Waiter helped with wine selection and we enjoyed the wine very much.
Nonetheless, I would go back again."

"Took our out of town family here for a great meal in Decatur. Brought two of our own bottles of wine which was nice to be able to do. Ordered so much food and everything was very good to amazing. Started with the beef carpaccio and the cheese artichoke dip which were both phenomenal. Then we had 3 different steaks, lamb, and salmon. All were delicious except for the BBQ salmon which was heavy handed. I was expecting the BBQ to be a light glaze on the fish, but it was just glopped on top which was not good at all. Overall the good dishes well outweighed the one not so good. Highly recommend! Fries were super yummy."
