  • Bad experience!

My soup came out lukewarm. I had to ask for a spoon to eat the soup. That missing spoon delayed my soup further, so by the time I was half way through the bowl, it was now cold. Our dinners came out and three of the four entrees had something wrong. My clams were overcooked and rubbery. My friends' steak that she ordered medium, came out well done. My other friends' very expensive lobster tail was overcooked and rubbery. We ordered coffee with Baileys, which took an interminable time to arrive with server stating, "the bar is busy." To make matters worse, the bills presented at the end of the evening were incorrect and server had to redo them. Despite that, our bill had items on it that belonged to our friends. Server stated there was nothing she could do to correct the printout as that was "the way it had to go" due to split checks. Go if you like a killer view, but don't eat the food, just drink.

Both salmons were good but not great. The vegetables were soggy and oily. They should have been crisp. Bread was cold and not crispy either. The sushi was very good and the dessert pretty good. we usually go there because of the great view and the excellent service. In summary, the food is OK, and with some attention to detail it would be great.

Could have been a perfect A for food, service, and ambiance, but for the horrific cafe latte at end. 7-11 serves up coffee that surpassed this one. I should have sent it back, and taken it off the bill. The acidic and flat taste riuned the exceptional dining experience. Could not have been happier with the wattress; attentive, friendly, and perfromed wonderfully. She got a big tip! The food from the fresh oysters! (marvelous!), the fish of the day: wonderfully prepared, and plated beautifully with rice and vegatable. The wine selection was very good and enjoyed. BUT then the coffee.. big mistake! Stll a good experience. Have told friends, just told them to bypass any coffee drinls.

I loved my experience at this restaurant! I brought my girlfriend here for her birthday. It was so romantic, low lighting and the view of the queen mary was beautiful. The staff remembered that it was her birthday and brought out a slice of cake and said happy birthday. Our waiter was Alex, he was very friendly not to mention attentive. Overall the experience was GREAT and will be returning.

    Mixed
    Dined on 11/5/2014
the location is nice, the building pleasant, but the experience quite mixed. Our party of 6 included hearing impaired persons so we requested a quiet location. We were placed in a cavernous group section with parties of 12 and 30 instead. When I quietly went to the podium to advise that we were not placed according to our request, I was told I was wrong, with staff coming to the table to continue to argue their side, or comment on it, which was not necessary or appropriate. Our main wait staff was very kind and efficient but her 'assistant' (who did nothing but announce himself as such) and later apologize for the noise (enough, already!) was no better than the rude floor manager. Food was mixed - some good, some just ok.

I dine here with local friends often and when folks visit from out of town, the Lighthouse is top of list of places to show folks, food is always fabulous. I just wish they'd fix the MUZAC the background music is horrible usually so load we have to ask to have the volume lowered so we can hear and enjoy our conversation

From the time you walk in the door, to paying the bill the service staff was outstanding. Our group had the Steamers, Alaskan King Crab and the Shrimp and Grits. Everything was good, especially the crab! What sets this place apart from the rest is the service. Our waiter was training a new server and they both were fantastic. The Service Supervisor, Jeremy Cox was on his game. All recommendations from decanting the wine to food, was spot on! Thanks for making our dining experience the best! See you soon!

We were seated outside on a chilly October evening. The outdoor heaters and glass wall kept us very warm. The service was fast and the food was phenomenal. We watched the sunset, enjoyed the boats going in and out of the harbor, and appreciated the fact that the staff were not in a hurry, they seemed to have time to interact and talk, even though there were many other guests.

Had some friends from out of town/Chicago. Not a lot of SoCal exposure so I thought this would be good location for them/scenic, etc. We had beautiful calm night & ate outside overlooking the water with the Queen Mary in the background. Our waitress let us talk & catch up, did not rush us at all. We had some drinks & appetizers prior to dinner, which were tasty. Our main menu items were assortment of good food. I had the sea food paste which was quite to my liking. My friends had different selections which I did not pay attention to. They all liked/enjoyed the food & location very much. All in all it was a very enjoyable night. Good food, good times & great atmosphere. I highly suggest this place for fun & good food.

I happen to be attending an event at the LBCC and wanted a good meal. I spotted this at Seaport Village and wasn't sure. Logged on to OT and checked out reviews and menu. It looked great. We had sushi rolls, wedge salad, shrimp gumbo and a lovely glass of wine. Will return to try the seafood, it looked delicious.

very nice place.. went on a Sunday night.. (slow night for servers) you would think service would be exceptional. We sat in an empty station for 20 minutes before we were greeted. The waiter was the poster child for "surfer dude" no professionalism, whatsoever. I ordered the king crab legs (high ticket item). He stopped by once (when I hadnt even tasted the meal) to "check in". The crab legs were dry, rubbery and cold. When he FINALLY came to deliver a check he asked, "how was it? my response "it was awful, but no one checked in so i ate it". he said "i dont have much to do with that" and didnt even send a manager to the table. Bottom line: you charge $60 a plate.. it better be at least decent.. it wasnt and no one seemed to care... AWFUL

How can I write a review of something so predictably perfect. Whenever I've gone to this restaurant, I have always been met with above expectations for any item you can name, e.g., food, service, view, etc. A review of this establishment is like reviewing if the sun came up this morning; of course it did; just as expected. Was your visit to Parker's Lighthouse great; for the answer please review the pervious sentence!

i was very happy to celebrate my anniversary at PARKER'S LIGHTHOUSE. I've always loved their ambiance and scenic views of the marina. Food quality was great, and so were the entrees. A little bit on the pricey side, but then again I don't go there every weekend, so well worth it. The Cadillac Margarita was a bit lacking this time... too bad as I always get at least 2 each visit, but not this time as a result. Not to worry though, as the full order of STEAMERS clams was EXCELLENT!!! The broth was very tasty, clams were fresh tasting and not fishy in the least bit. I almost ordered a second dish they were so DEELISH. Parker's Lighthouse always brings an enjoyable evening for us. I'm sure to recommend to others without hesitation.

Been here a number of times. The place, as they say in old school, is just peachy-neat-o-keen. The atmosphere inside is warm and inviting. The views of the channel with boats in transit all around is just sweet refreshing for City dwellers. Order the cheese bread. Wonderful balance between melted cheese and fresh warm bread. Yum. Tried the grilled swordfish. Awesome, fresh, moist and minimally but adequately seasoned. Yum, yum. Grilled veggies equally good. The toll house dessert was a bit dry this time around. Gosh darn. Even so, still a wonderful dessert if you like toll house cookies, ice cream or chocolate. lol Great place always feels special and delivers a great dining experience!

Food was no better than a steak you might make at home. I had the filet. It was some what tender but lacked taste. And the sides looked thrown together. I wouldn't return. And since when do they put A1 on your table. Fleming's, Ruth Chris, Houston's... You name it. I've never been given steak sauce. But then again they all had very good steak. Maybe Parkers knows their steaks need it.

We are from Phoenix AZ and we had 11 people in our party. The waiter was very professional and prompt to respond to any request we had. It was such a great experience!! We even got a free coupon for an appetizer. The waiter also turned on the heaters for us, because as you can guess we are used to the warmth. So great!! It will be on our permanent list of things to do in Southern California. Thank you so much!!
