Parkers Blue Ash TavernWait staff was terrificOur waitress and her helpers were so attentive and allowed all of us to enjoy Mother's Day a little more. Dad is 91, and his child bride, mom, is 84. The waitstaff catered to both of them and cheerfully worked through their own Mother's Day. Thanks ladies and gentlemen job well done. Jeff Richey5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMBrunch was a little pricey. Our noon reservation on Mother's Day was not as crowded as I had anticipated, which made the whole experience nice. There were plenty of buffet selections to choose from, including shrimp cocktail and wood-smoked salmon. The omlette station provided omlettes that were sized for just one person and didn't overwhelm your plate, but we shared it. The waffles were the melt-in-your-mouth high point of the brunch. They provided a previously-frozen strawberry compote, but I would have preferred fresh blueberries. The carving station had some delicious prime rib and fine smoked ham. We thought the price was a little high ($31.95), for the lack of view, even with the single complementary cocktail of choice: champagne, Bloody Mary, or Mimosa.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat ExperienceWe have had brunch here several times, mostly on mother's day, father's day. Every time we go we are not disappointed at all! The brunch buffet is wonderful.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMVery interesting one-of-a-kindVery interesting one-of-a-kind building and decor emphasizing horse racing, especially KY Derby. Very good food priced fairly. The wait staff is okay....a little but less responsive than the very best restaurants.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMWe were very pleased withWe were very pleased with our visit. It was an excellent meal to begin our anniversary evening.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways enjoy Parker's whetherAlways enjoy Parker's whether for lunch or dinner. Food is great and service always attentive.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMSelections were minimum.Selections were minimum. I have had much better and in the past the BA Parker Grille had more selections. Was disappointed. However, the beinets (SP?) were great as usual.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had brunch on Sunday atWe had brunch on Sunday at Parker's. There are very few good brunch restaurants in this city and to us this is the best. The omelets were made to order and they were very good. Many places have too many eggs in the omelet but this one was just right. The waffles were also extremely good with hot syrup. We also had shrimp, ham, roast beef with the mashed potatoes. They had a good variety of desserts.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMWe have always liked Parkers,We have always liked Parkers, including when it was James Tavern. Didn't see pumpkin soup on the menu though. There were six of us and we were seated at a round table which we appreciated, much easier to converse. The décor hasn't changed in 20 or so years, which is good. Comfortable, just right for a Sunday dinner, or a night out.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMThe right touch! We enjoyed a great business lunch. My friend kept remarking how great the French dip sandwich was and I said the turkey, goat cheese sandwich had no equal. Perfect atmosphere to do casual business. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive but not too much to be bothersome.
All I can say is "we'll be back!"4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMWe came for Easter dinnerWe came for Easter dinner with extended family. Service was terrific; the buffet was good but not outstanding.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a great time. Our serverWe had a great time. Our server was quick and efficient as well as knowledgeable. The food was delicious from beginning to end and you could tell the ingredients were fresh and high quality. The decor and atmosphere was also welcoming and enjoyable. We also felt that the prices matched the quality of food Parker's serves.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMAll of our food was wonderful! All of our food was wonderful! The burger was to die for great chopped salad.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat prime rib - a bit priceyGreat prime rib - a bit pricey though for what you recieve. Baked potato was not fluffy -instead it seemed starchy and reheated. Bread selection- better dinner rolls from a day old bread store. Surprised that there was no soup, salad, or juice offering as part of the meal - The Houston Inn is comparable and a better value.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMSeating arrangement ot so good.Everything was good except for our seating (for 4). We were up against the backside of the fireplace. Two people were up against the fireplace rocks and 2 were out in the isle way. Waiters (especially) and other customers kept hitting the chairs that were in the isle way. There was not enough room for tables for four in that area and the view was of a rock wall.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMService and food were excellent.Service and food were excellent. only our second time there but would definitely add to our list of restaurants!3/10/2013 12:00:00 AMWinner with Parker's Blue Ash GrillGreat out to lunch spot! Food very good, service as well.
