Diner Reviews
  • "Used to be a good restaurant but food quality is not as good as it used to be. Service is so-so. Went to the bar for a drink before dinner and had to wait for service. Only two bartenders and they were more interested in waiting on tables and taking care of the service bar. Dining room service was ok. I don't think I will be returning"

  • "Went out to celebrate my husband's birthday and we had a great dinner and a great time. We were seated in a little room off the main dining room which was a little disappointing but overall a great dinner. Great food and great service."

  • "Although this place tends to attract an older crowd, it's great for families and people of all ages. I wpuld also mention, the oldet generation it does attract are typically the vibrant lively ones. Especially in the Tap room with live music and a great craft beer and wineist."

  • "Second time this week meeting a client for lunch here and just as pleased as earlier visit. We both had the blackened fish sandwich special and fish was nicely cooked. Homemade tartar sauce a nice touch. Service very efficient and good ambiance."

  • "This is a great go-to place for me. Perfect for meeting clients and love the ambiance both for lunch and dinner. My guest had the club sandwich which is always a winner. My hot brown was tasty but turkey was a bit dry. Service was efficient and unobtrusive."

  • "Fantastic Sunday brunch. Wonderful food and staff."

  • "Dinner at Parkers Blue Ash was excellent. While we had enjoyed the awesome Sunday brunch many times - this was our first dinner experience. Seated right near one of the many fires, our table was cozy, service was on the money, and the food was great. Our kids both enjoyed the filet mignon, while I had a salad and crab cake - my wife enjoyed a wonderful salmon. Everything was cooked well and seasoned perfectly. And for the atmosphere, food quality, and service - Parkers Blue Ash offers quite a value. Highly recommended."

  • "We totally enjoyed the service and were really looking forward to good prime rib. We were a bit disappointed by how difficult it was to cut the prime rib and we believe it was the knives fault, not the meat. We brought left overs home, reheated next night and used our knives and had no difficulty cutting it. The au gratin potatoes I had were not cooked enough. They were tough and I just couldn't eat them. Service though was great. Wonderful people work there. Suggestion made for wine was fantastic and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Next time maybe we'll try something other than prime rib but plan on going back again."

  • "The fish and chips were some of the best I've had in Cincinnati! We've been to Parker's twice and the food and service have been great both times."

  • "We love Parker's, visiting, eating, meeting friends at least 3-4 times a month for drinks, lunch, or dinner. The bands are always very good on Friday nights. The food is delicious, always made the way you love it. Last Friday we were disappointed that they will no longer be taking reservations for dinner, in the bar area, as this is our favorite room, with great service and comfort. When we arrive with between 4-6 people without a reservation, we know it will be full, and we will have to go to deShay's instead where they will take a reservation for us without disappointment, Hope they change their minds and return to taking reservations. Thanks very much."

  • "The crab cakes lunch was delicious! Vegetables and wild rice cooked perfectly and the crab cakes packed with crab meat were to die for! My companion had the salmon ceaser salad and was very happy with it."

  • "We went with another couple to celebrate two birthdays. We all go something different from fish to steak to mac and cheese. Everything was prepared well, served in a timely manner by friendly waitress."

  • "The restaurant was great and the food is good. I would not recommend the ribs because they are extremely salty and I do mean extremely salty, almost uneatable."

  • "We had made reservations but forgot to ask for a table and were taken to a booth, the hostess told us there was no other seating, my husband was ready to leave but stayed for me since it was my birthday but we were cramped. I expected in a restaurant of this quality that we would have a manager stop at our table especially after telling both the hostess and server we were new to the restaurant but no one stopped. The pace of our food was too slow we waited to long in between courses, although I do believe that was due to our server having to many tables. My prime rib was great tasting but had quite a bit of fat on it, when you pay $32 you expect more that half to be meat. Our server was very good at her job. I did like the free dessert."

  • "I've been here a few times for lunch (hope to get here for dinner soon). The decor is "horsey", but in a pleasant way. I've always had good food. There is enough variety for most appetites. And the servers are knowledgable and friendly. (They seem to watch out for everybody, not just their tables)."

  • "Went here for Valentine's day. We had an 8:30 reservation but due to snow got there at 8:05. Were seated right away. The food was absolutely delicious. Both of us got drinks and an appetizers. The entrées were both delicious as well. Great place and very intimate booths to sit in. Definitely recommend going back again!"

  • "I have been to Parkers several times before and will continue to come back. The food is consistently good. I deviated from my normal Salmon ( always cooked perfectly) and tried a Burger for the first time. It was Cooked medium rare , just the way I like it, and was delicious with my choice of cheddar cheese. Another in the group got the pot pie, and simply raved about the hearty taste. We each had enough to take some home to enjoy again. The service was attentive friendly. A great place to eat."

  • "They had a Valentne's special which we ordered, it was great."

  • "The restaurant and food were fantastic. Fairly quiet and comfortably lit. My only complaint was that our server always had to be asked to refill our drinks. It would not have been so bad but she was hard to find at times. I understand it was a busy day but as late as we came, it was not that busy. I would go back and hope that that portion of the service improves."

  • "I made reservations to take a neighbor out for her birthday. We were served by four different waiters, were served beer in bottles without glasses. At the end of the dinner there was no mention of her birthday, no desert. As we were leaving the reseptioinist yelled as we were going out the door, "Happy Birthday" to our backs."

  • "We visit the Cincinnati area 3-4 times a year and Parker's has become our favorite spot. For food, atmosphere and service it is a great place to dine. Offers excellent food from sandwiches to full dinners. Great bar area with sports on TV and live music."

  • "We went to Parkers for the first time for a birthday celebration. The food was terrific. I was particularly impressed with the service where the restaurant staff worked in concert to make the experience enjoyable. A waiter took orders at a table near us and then turned around and offer to clear a few of our empty plates. Things like that that made for a nice touch. Would definitely go back."

  • "Parker's offers consistently good food and service. It is great for a business lunch, romantic dinner or brunch on Sundays. Love the atmosphere. And love the dynamite sticks!"

  • "For the price the ribs, grits and chicken pot pie were a bit disappointing."

  • "Ordered burger with Mayo only & fries. Food came no Mayo no catsup for fries. And no waiter we waited over 7 minutes before any server show their face got anther waitress to bring mayo & catsup to us. Our waiter never came back until he brought our check. We had to have the other waitress get me a cup of coffee. So a burger, a glass of wine & a cup of coffee cost me $25 with no service. Next time I can go to the local Frisch's or McDonald's and get better service for a lot less money!"

  • "Parkers has great food, menu has great choices with the food you are looking for. Happy Hour is a bonus, and the music groups they feature on Friday and Saturday nights are very entertaining. They have a lot of beer choices, plenty of big screen TV's to see the games, and the equestrian decor with wooden beams and cozy fireplace in the tavern is a great place to meet up with friends. You are welcomed into the restaurant by the host and hostess with a smile and taken to your table with cocktails ordered almost immediately. The calamari appetizer is very good, would prefer horseradish cocktail sauce to the tomato sauce dip. The prime rib is delicious, and their special french fries are addicting, eat them first !"
