"We went to celebrate my mother's birthday, and our trip happened to be on Easter. I was glad to find a last-minute reservation, and was even more pleased to go around 1:30pm and be seated in a booth right away! It wasn't terribly crowded. The service was great, and the food was very good. I had the french toast. It was delicious! A bit crusty on the outside but still very soft with butter. My mother had the Bayou omelet. She's picky, but she liked it which says a lot. She got full so I had a taste and couldn't stop eating it. Overall, a really good visit, and I'll probably return."

"1 waitress serving @ 2:30 pm on Easter Sunday. Food took longer than average to be served. She forgot to put in 1 person' s food order. It arrived @ 15 minutes after the rest of the party's food.
Did not have my reservation, but place was not crowded so luckily we got seated."

"Our server was pretty inexperienced. She tried hard but made mistakes in our order and in the bill. There didn't appear to be a manager on duty so one of the other servers helped rectify the error on the bill. They also didn't have any clean teaspoons for use in stirring cream into coffee. That was a bit of a surprise!"

"Most of our food was very good, we ordered the shrimp appetizer and crab spinach dip, both lovely. My boyfriends food and our guests food was good. I made the mistake of ordering the Pot Pie. It was... weird. It was like a huge bowl of runny soup with pastry on top. But to our surprise the waitress actually took it off the bill which was appreciated and definitely unexpected in Bethesda. We, of course, put that cost into her tip because she did a great job. All in all, although its VERY loud, it's one of the few places you can get a reservation on a Sat and get in and out in less then an hour. Rare in Bethesda."

"We were seated in a dark corner, right next to the kitchen until we requested a better table. Also, it was very noisy and a bit chaotic with lots of noisy kids, since this was unfortunately a free kids night.
The service was initially very slow - had to remind our waitress to get us water, and we waited a long time for our salad.
The food was very good, but the service left much to be desired, and the area where we were seated was not at all attractive; actually, pretty dark and unattractive."
