Park Tavern had an excellent food menu! I had the smoked chicken and I wish I ordered a 2nd for lunch the next day! It is a 5 minute walk to the United Center and I was able to park for free in that neighborhood. If there is no street parking there is a parking garage right in front of park tavern. Much cheaper then the United Center's $25 lots!

We were attending a concert at the United Center that evening and wanted to grab dinner pre-concert. The Park Tavern was awesome because they will shuttle you to the UC from their free parking lot if you have dinner at the restaurant. Brilliant plan, and we will definitely do it again.

This was our first time at the Park Tavern, Our waiter, Jeff did not introduce himself or tell us the specials, we missed out on the happy hour appetizers because of this. When we asked Jeff about the special apps, he said, he could not put in the order, by this time it was 5:29 and the app special was till 5:30, the kitchen would get mad. He took fifteen minutes to get our drinks and attention. the first thing he said when he approached our table was I will be back with two waters...Food was good though and cannot beat the location to the United Center. Would try it again, but might sit at the bar.

I took clients to the Park Tavern for lunch on Tuesday, July 8th. - Service was poor: originally seated outdoors (at my request), I had to ask the hostess TWICE to send a server to the table. Once we moved inside due to the insane wind, I had to ask once more for a server to wait on my table. That's THREE requests for a server. When the restaurant is nearly empty (it was a late lunch), this is inexcusable. - The bartender was the person who eventually waited on us, and he was very attentive and had a great demeanor. Despite the service issue being resolved and the food being decent, I would not come back nor would I recommend this place.

We had been to the Park Tavern previously and had a better experience. The food was very good both times but this time the service was underwhelming. Even though we mentioned to our server that we were planning to go to the concert, we had to wait at least 15-20 mins before we received our drinks once the order was placed and then the food seemed to come out slow as well. We had to rush a bit to finish our meal. We did have a reservation but the restarurant was busy. This experience will probably not keep me away from Park Taver, as it is very convenient to the United Center and does offer free shuttle service. Plus I do like their eclectic menu!

Park Tavern was recommended to us by friends who go there before heading to the United Center for concerts. The food is good...different. We enjoyed a 10" pizza and the pulled pork nachos - both were delicious and perfect for a party of 2. Then we hopped on the free shuttle which took us to / from the Queen concert. The driver was personable and it was the perfect way to get to United Center. I would make this a regular routine.

Great spot to grab a bite to eat and a few beverages before events at the United Center. Only real drawback is that it can get a little hectic about a half hour before game time with everyone leaving at the same time. Keep an eye on the clock and ask for the tab when you have a chance.

We had pizza with veges. It tasted like frozen pizza that they just slapped some veges on. We asked for parmesan cheese. My co-workers and I were looking for a nearby restaurant to have dinner and drinks after work. This place was newer so we decided to give it a try. I made reservations online for 6 people for 4:15pm. We arrived, the place was mostly empty except for a few people at the bar. There was no one to seat us in the front. Someone finally came up and seated us. The waiter that took our drink orders arrived promptly before we had all decided, we ordered water and said we wanted a minute to look over the drink menu. He never came back and asked what we wanted. Our appetizers were not bad, but only 2 of the 3 ordered showed up. Out of 6 people only one person at our table got exactly what they ordered, mine was forgotten entirely.

Don't let the neighborhood intimidate you from dining at Park Tavern. Once inside you will see a lovely modern upscale sports lounge. 2 big bars, plenty of TV's and spacious. The beer list had enough depth to impress my co-workers. The menu was typical but the results were not. Everyone loved their meals - PBR can Chicken, BBQ Ribs, Fish Tacos, Brisket and more. Kudos to the chef - each meal was a perfect blend of comfort food yet had his interpretation/inspiration to make it memorable. The locals hangout here before heading over to the stadium. We just missed the crowd so it was quiet and relaxing for us. Good atmosphere for our get to know each other dinner. This was definitely worth the trip and goes into my files for next year!

Park Tavern was a great spot to grab a bite before heading to the United Center. I haven’t been here before and picked this place based on the great reviews. My husband was here years ago and said it was remodeled and looked really nice now. We were able to park on the street for free and take the shuttle bus to and from the United Center with no problems. The spicy calamari was very tasty and I’m still talking about how delish the foot long grilled cheese was. Our martinis were perfectly made and our waiter Chris was one of the best, making sure we were happy all night. Ill be coming back before another event. If I lived closer I would be here more often. Can’t wait to try out more of the food.
