We waited 45 minutes for wine, then another hour for our dinner (which came cold), then another 1/2 hour for dessert. We spent 2 1/2 hours there and were the last party to leave the restaurant due to the lousy service. We had plans for after dinner which had to be changed. Although the food was very good, we will re-think going back there.

The food was delicious! We had the mussels and the bbq short rib flatbread, and both were outstanding and the portions were large enough to share. I tried their seafood special of the day which was snapper w/scallops, and my husband had the grouper. Both were very good. We had the bread pudding for dessert to share, which was excellent, and brought home the coconut cake for my daughter, which she loved! We will definitely be back.

The food is good, the restaurant is cute and the staff is friendly BUT the entrees are not worth the high price you pay. The libations are also over priced and the beer menu is disorganized. My husband ordered a beer but twice our server came back to tell him that they were out of the beer he wanted and the second time the reason was because they ran out of CO2! That excuse is the newest I have yet to hear! At the end when we looked at the dessert menu, they had all of these other beers listed that my husband would have enjoyed had he known they were available! I got the scallops in which there were only 4 scallops and not worth the price I paid. My husband got the 1/2 chicken but because it was so scrawny, it looked more like 1/4 chicken.

It was a beautiful venue, however, the experience was bizarre. While we had two waiters assigned to us on a quiet night, after the first table visit, they disappeared when we wanted to order. They were out of the 2 types of beer my husband ordered, and later brought him the wrong wine. We had a voucher that entitled us to 2 appetizers, 2 entrees and 2 desserts "with no restrictions." However, when I asked if I could have a salad, which was cheaper than an appetizer, I was told that could not be done. Later, we were told they were out of the filet mignon I ordered. I was left with a menu but the waiter returned quickly and said he had "worked it out with the chef" and within moments the filet arrived. Our bill also required correction.

Sitting outside is not the best idea for non-smokers...normally when we eat here we sit in the back of the restaurant. My only complaint is the outside seating area is smokey, small and dark. Other than that the food is great, the service is usually very good and the overall quality and price are great!

I wish I had great things to say, but I don't. We did the Magical Dinning menu, and the only thing on the menu I would eat again is the dessert. We had the bread pudding, it was amazing. Other than that, the food was more like eating a TV dinner. The roof leaked so we had to move tables twice. The wine was way over priced ($10 a glass for a wine that tasted $10 a bottle). The service was less than enthusiastic, almost insulting, when they were asked for the special menu and continued to be so for the rest of the meal. Over all, at least for Magical Dinning guests, we were sorry we went.

We have eaten here many times. About 2 years ago, we had a pre-planned dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday. We had a party of 16 people, including small children. The service was the worst ever! We had not been back in 2 years because of the experience. Well, we may never go back again. Our reservation was for 6:45 PM. We were served drinks, but did not get our salad for an hour. We did not leave the restaurant until 9:30, so the entire meal took almost 3 hours. I do not understand why it was so slow. Is it the kitchen? Or the waiters? I suspect it just comes slow out of the kitchen. It was a huge disappointment.

The courtyard setting is nice but showing its age; it seems a bit forced/fake now compared to 20 years ago. An occasional drop of water would hit the table to make you feel like you were really in an outdoor setting. The food was good; but typical for what I expect in the price range. Nothing made me stop and say WOW. The service was good. I don't feel the need to rush back. I would go back; but I would just as soon try a new place.

The restaurant is hidden at the back of the Park Plaza Gardens Hotel Bar. It is a quaint closed courtyard environment. Service was fast, attentive and efficient, without being intrusive or rushed. The food was some of the best I've had on Park Avenue. The wine list is mostly inexpensive and not bad, but they had few mid-range ($40 - $80) choices. My wife started with a generous serving of the Cast Iron Roasted Black Mussels. I had a large plate full of the Beef Carpaccio. The Beef was good, but the fried egg was unnecessary). Both were very good For entree my wife had the Crab Stuffed Grouper and I had the Jumbo Lump Crab Ravioli which was in a nice sauce with a good serving of baby shrimp. Desserts were well sized and delicious.

They were both cooked perfectly. We enjoyed the quietness of Park Plaza Gardens. No hustle and bustle so we were able to talk without a lot of background noise. We were very delighted by the quality of food and the beautiful outdoor seating area in this restaurant. Service is very polite and accommodating. I have nothing to complain about with the food, is was to DIE for, the atmosphere? You can't do better, endless mimosas? I had to request more orange juice haha it was great. However, I was FURIATED with the attitude of the wait staff towards my friend and I. I understand a nice restaurant is expensive, and when 2 younger girls come in - staff might not see a huge tip on the table. However, I am a huge tipperand gave the man 25% even though I wanted to give him 5%. Reason I didn't was the attitude he had was that he expected us to tip poor and so served us poorly, but I watned to prove him wrong. Zacory. I will make sure to request sitting outside next time, I spoke to some locals and they said that's where the good service is.

I love the fact that the inside dining area feels as if it is outside with, all of the greenery coving the ceiling (but needs to cover more so that you don't see all of the leaves, etc.)mGalette was very good; Benedict had 2 eggs that were almost hard boiled and had to be sent back; chicken/waffles good, but didn't know chicken would be tenders. Mimosas good, BUT they can't call thier sparkling wine champagne (not from France) If Bloody Mary is unlimited, don't charge for refills w/o saying. if advertisement says choice of vodka for the price, don't then say it is a particular type of vodka. I brought these to the server's attention, and while she understood and was gracious, this to me is false advertising and I would not return. Principle
