Park PlaceA genuine FindMy husband and I took my Mom to dinner Saturday night and we were pleasantly surprised at what a great local find it was. We have lived in Cupertino since 1965 so know the town well. We were looking for something local a cut above the norm. We sure found a great restaurant! The food was delicious.6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways outstandingWe've never had a bad meal or a negative response to dining here.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMVery nice space in the CypressVery nice space in the Cypress Hotel. It has a great bar and the dining area is small but comfortable. The food was very good and the service was great. Overall, we had a great dinner and will go back soon. What a great find thanks to OpenTable.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMEarly dinnerWe got there early and were accommodated by the staff. Really liked the menu. Small plates, appetizers, full meals. We each got 2 small plates and brought some home. The seared ahi salad was great. Lots of really tasty ingredients including quail eggs, olives... tasty dressing. Hog heaven was aptly named, small plate of sausage, slow cooked pork belly (the best) and pork tureen( I think that's how it's spelled. Sort of a pancetta wrapped pork pate). My wife wouldn't have eaten those things but she did enjoy the braised pork with fries and. Drinks were good.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMFavoriteWe had dinner at Park Place for our weekly date night. Both our meals were very delicious.5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Mother's Day brunchHave gone here for Mother's Day brunch for the last 3 years. Will definitely go again. Food is very good, not outstanding but very good for brunch. Service is also very good. Gets quite noisy in the big dining rooms with lots of kids, but that is to be expected for Mother's Day.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had the Mother's Day BrunchWe had the Mother's Day Brunch here and it was lovely. We sat outdoors because I made a mistake online in the number in our party and it was the best seat in the house. It did not seem like we were next to a major street(De Anza). It was a real oasis. The champagne brunch was lovely and enjoyable. Loved the fruit, the bread pudding was delicious, loved the prime rib.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMConsistently good entree choicesConsistently good entree choices with nice preparations. Can't wait to go back4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMEaster brunchFood, Service and ambiance is great. I can't say enough good things about park place. We decided to try their Easter brunch, based on good past experiences with Park Place. The food was awesome, the brunch was affordable, we are hoping they will do Easter brunch again next year.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMSan Fran Fettuccine tops the menuWe are enjoying our stay at The Cypress. While we don't usually frequent ''in hotel restaurants'' we did get some good reviews here and we booked on OpenTable as we coped 1000 points due to an early seating. Our waitress was Ashley who was super nice and kind.
We did have the Beet Salad (portions are large enough, you can split with your mate). That was a nice warm up for the entree... the SanFran Fettuccine which came with calamari, mussels, clams, shrimp and some white fish. This was served in a very light and not overwhelming marinara sauce. The flavors of the seafood held there own. Dinner was right at $50 for two splitting a salad, entree and the Elvis Presley Banana Split (a must). We gave it a score of 8.5/10.1/26/2013 12:00:00 AMNice choice of excellentlyNice choice of excellently prepared entrees. Bread pudding is to die for.
