A word from Park House
Park House is a new restaurant downtown OKC at the Myriad Botanical Gardens. We serve contemporary American cuisine created by our Executive chef Jonathan Krell, and chef Jeff Holloway. We have a beautiful 180 degree view of the Crystal Bridge and downtown skyline. Park House has an extensive wine list with hand crafted cocktails.   • "We had rotisserie chicken, crushed potatoes, macaroni, salad, wonderful Parkerhouse rolls and strawberry shortcake for dessert. The chicken was seasoned incredibly and very tender, could eat the potatoes for breakfast - they have the peel on them still and were delightful, macaroni was yummy, rolls will melt in your mouth, Strawberry shortcake is not your typical SSC but was refreshingly different and very delicious. Oh, they also have homemade pickles that are a treat. Must mention their salad dressing ... salad comes already dressed and it is delicious. We went for dinner and we will return and eat there again. The staff was amazing and very attentive."

  • "This is a great place right across from the Chesapeake Arena. Some girlfriends and I went prior to a show. It has a great view of the Myriad Gardens and I love the open, airy feel. It was a little stuffy temperature wise even though it was overcast outside. The crab avocado salad could have used lump crab rather than the tiny pieces that were served on it. Otherwise it was a good meal. Our server was also great."

  • "The valet was a huge turn off!! Dressed and acted unprofessional and took a long time to return the vehicle when we requested. They were not in a hurry to assist us and did not seem to care that we were going to be late to the show due to their lack of urgency."

  • "I honesty hadn't had lofty expectations when I arrived. My date and I were dining early due to plans to follow. It was fairly empty when we were seated but had filled up quite a bit by the time we were on our entree. Patrick, our server, was a delight. He was informative, charming and attentive. A nice touch was an elegantly served jar of house made pickles. They were a bit of a relief from the traditional bread basket. My date and I shared a bowl of magnificent rotisserie chicken soup followed by sharing a rotisserie prime rib.Both were everything I could have hoped for...except they had no au jus. None the less, the head chef delivered the horse radish to the table and was pleasant. The wine was as it should be. We Wii go return."

  • "We had been looking forward to trying Park House, but will never eat there again! Although the ambiance was delightful, we had absolutely the worst steak (ribeye evening special) we have EVER eaten. We found about 2 bites each of Youwas edible and the rest was gristle. The other items we ordered were not bad, but nothing that would take us back for a repeat performance. We might stop there for a drink on the outdoor patio, but will not order food again. Save your money!"

  • "I would not return to this restaurant. We showed up on time and they didn't have anyone at the front. We had to wait while they seated another party and were finally seated at our table. We then sat there for quite some time and found out they only had 2 staff working the entire restaurant. Needless to say, the service was poor and the food price/quality didn't justify the lousy service. I will not be returning."

  • "The service was terrible. Waited 10 for a waitress. Didn't get the order correct. Forgot the rolls. We asked for butter...still waiting. It was my father's birthday which became an embarrassment for all. Ordered complementary dessert and two more for family. Lindsey only brought one dessert. Waited 10 minutes for check. Left disappointed, hungry and upset. I called to verify traffic and road closures and was given incorrect information."

  • "Was waiting for a restaurant to move into this space and was probably more excited to try it than I should have been. Server was slow and inattentive, despite the lack of tables in his section. Appetizer was Deviled Egg Flight - not impressed. Deviled Eggs are better left to potlucks and house parties. My entrée was salmon. The salmon itself was good with a nice, crispy glaze but the filet was too small. The sides left much to be desired in preparation and flavor. Friend's entrée was halibut - bland and unexciting. Dessert was good (strawberry shortcake) and I would recommend trying, but the "shortcake" tasted old. After looking around, everyone had rotisserie chicken, so THAT is probably what we should have ordered."

  • "My husband and I were not very impressed with the Park House. We found the food to be below average, especially considering the price. The service was also not very good. The waiter never asked my husband if he'd like another drink and we had to ask for things like more water and to order dessert. We don't plan to go back. Just a heads up, the valet is $10."

Beautiful decor and view, reservations necessary especially on weekend. Perfect place to go for any event in downtown OKC especially near Myriad Gardens.   • "over 2 hours needed for lunch...... they don't have enough waitstaff 1 person is not enough. They starved us with 4 pickle slices waiting for our entrees..... they seemed to excel at roasted chicken... who doesn't ? yawn..... Adding pork to a vegetarian requested side is disappointing.... the view was the nicest park of the restaurant, however I was there to eat......"

  • "Was a little disappointed in my second trip to Park House. We had a reservation and even though there were only about 6 tables of people eating, we did not get a table with a good view, but rather stuck at a table close to the front door. They had changed their menu that day and some of the food items we'd had at our previous visit (that we were looking forward to having again) were gone from the menu. Very different atmosphere when the Thunder crowd is not there."

  • "Waitress came to the table 10 minutes after we were seated. Restaurant was half full. She immediately told us she'd been working there since 10 AM it was 8 PM and she was working an after hours party there. Drinks and water and food then came out in a timely fashion. $23 got 3 small pieces of Fish & Fries is WAY over priced. Bill was a little messed up. Waitress was sweet BUT kept complaining about working all day. Valet Parking was total mess 30 minute delay. Employees parking in the motor drive and entering the back of restaurant. The only thing this restaurant need to go from poor to great it TRAIN your employees. From Basic service Etiquette (complaining about your job) to basic service."

  • "I'll start off by saying the chicken/waffle appetizer is one of the best ones in the city and a personal favorite. The desserts are also awesome. Simple and well put together. The food is decent. I had the halibut fish and chips my first time, the fish was awesome but the breading a little dull. I've also had the burger and people I was with had a veggie burger and some other dishes. All was good but not great and not necessarily worthy of the prices listed. The main reason for the lower stars in general was the service. It was sub-par. Dirty menus, seemed to rush us and didn't refill a drink once besides when I had to go to the bar myself with a glass to refill my water."

  • "Started out they were "out of" the first four kinds of wine we ordered; then the waitress brought us glasses of whatever was available that she thought my be a decent substitute. One of our party expressed he did not like/want dark beer and attempted to ask some questions about the beer list; waitress made a recommendation and brought him a glass of dark beer. Appetizers were good and prompt. Food took a long time to arrive; one party's food did not come with the rest; when asked if he wanted it "to go", he replied he did not and they attempted to bring it to the table anyway after the rest of us had eaten and he refused to accept it (understandably). No manager in sight, no mention of any comp, no nothing."

  • "Was attending a major concert at the Peak, so booked resvs before for drinks and appetizers/dinner but was really an effort not needed as the place was practically deserted and we valet parked( a nice feature) and really we could have just waked in. That said our waiter (his second day there) was superb and our drinks and order was quick, perfect and very well served. We selected a variety of items and shared. Everything was presented attractively and was very appetizing. The view of the restaurant inside and the gardens outside was very exquisite along with the white table service, drinks and dinner. "

  • "We were disappointed in our experience here at Park House. Service was not very good, but I do not fault the waiters. The hostess ended up taking out order because she noticed we had been waiting quite a while. It seemed more of an understaffing and management issue. The food was very good, but expensive for the portion size. The portion size was just right for me, but probably not for the big eater. $14 for a salad is a bit pricey for what you got. We were there on a Sunday and it was a brunch menu, so I may go another time for the regular dinner menu, but I haven't decided yet. I loved the atmosphere and look of the restaurant and feel it has such great potential. It could be very enjoyable."

The scenery was so nice. There was a military wedding photo session outside the window, and that was fun to watch. We will definitely be back. "

  • "To be honest, the food was ok. Not great, but ok. 26 buck fish and chips should be knock out, but Long John Silvers has 'em beat on taste and value. The service was terrible. Waitstaff was friendly, but hardly attentive. It took over 20 min. to get our drinks. Most likely, I won't go back. "

  • "The service was very good. The surroundings were very nice and it had a great view. The food was okay but nothing special. The hot rolls were the best thing that I ate but I had to pay an additional $6.00 (for 3 rolls) to get the bread with my $34.00 meal. The salad which was also an additional $6.00 was nothing special. The lettuce was good lettuce but there wasn't any tomato, cucumber or even a carrot stick to go with it. Just lettuce and dressing. I had been wanting to go there for awhile so I am glad I finally went. We probably want be going back anytime soon. When we do go back we may try the hamburger. At $14 it should be a good burger. If they make their own buns I know they will be good."
