A word from Park House
Park House is a new restaurant downtown OKC at the Myriad Botanical Gardens. We serve contemporary American cuisine created by our Executive chef Jonathan Krell, and chef Jeff Holloway. We have a beautiful 180 degree view of the Crystal Bridge and downtown skyline. Park House has an extensive wine list with hand crafted cocktails. During the winter we are located next to the Devon ice skating rink.Continued

  • "I wouldn't pick a night the Thunder are playing but this is worth the effort. As with all places downtown I take the extra cash and use the valet service; it's worth every penny and saves you the time and bother of finding a parking place. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip, very creamy and delicious. The fried pita chips were an interesting addition. The deviled eggs sounded enticing but the blue cheese kept them from our plates. I had the filet, which was wonderfully cooked, very tender and juicy. My husband had the fish and chips. He said the batter was excellent and the fish well done. We can't wait to return and try other dishes on the menu."

  • "Everything was great about Park House but their fish n chips was so melt in your mouth delicious I can't wait to go again and just eat that. Hands down the best halibut I've ever tasted."

  • "I took my wife to Park House for her birthday. Overall the view was awesome and the food was delicious. Our favorite part of the meal however was the Donuts and Coffee dessert."

  • "The food was mediocre at best, service is excellent, but absolutely no ambiance. The interior is sparce and loud. Beautiful views into the Myriad gardens. Won't go back for dinner, but perhaps drinks on the patio."

  • "We went in for "Cookie and milk and "Donuts and Coffee" As printed on the menu online. 1st of all, there is No milk, it's a milkshake. 2nd, with the donuts, there is Not coffee but a coffemoose. The cookies and donuts were tiny and the serve very very slow even though they were not busy. We ordered a second order of cookies without the milkshake, and they still charged us $8. Not sure if I'll go back."

  • "Great evening!!! Wonderful service! Fantastic food!! We had a reservation at 7:15, and it was very bright until the sun set behind the Crystal Bridge. Otherwise, the evening was lovely. But for a place that boasts about the view, they probably need to get some window shades to fix that problem!!"

  • "A fun, casual restaurant with surprisingly good food. The staff was very friendly and the service was excellent. A trendy restaurant with a great view and location that will be here for a long time!"

  • "With a view of Myriad Gardens, only a block from the Thunder game and a block from our hotel, The Park House was a perfect spot for our early dinner before a 6 p.m. Thunder game! Starting off with a Thunderita, which was actually good, then enjoying the perfectly grilled salmon served over black lentils with roasted cauliflower, I had a terrific late winter dinner. My companions all enjoyed their dinners of fish and chips, wedge salad and since it was St. Pat's Day, a pint of Guiness. The wait person was professional. It would be a great spot to catch some of the March madness as they have a huge TV screen with capability of 4 stations at one time."

  • "The special was a great deal. Menu items were overpriced. Food was tolerable, but that was a disappointment. Might try once more this summer."

  • "We dined at Park House and thoroughly enjoyed our evening! I had the Mustard Seed Crusted Pork Tenderloin with mushroom bread pudding & Brussels sprouts-delicious! Hubbie had the Halibut Fish & Chips w/waffle fries & cole slaw. Had a bite of his meal & it was a perfectly breaded and seasoned fish. We finished with the Donuts & Coffee dessert item-our waitperson explained the coffee is more of a mousse. Our only issue was small-cups of coffee we ordered with dessert were lukewarm-when we let our waitperson know, she was very apologetic, brought us freshly brewed coffee, and took care of the charge-now that is excellent customer service! Our waitperson was Brooke, she was adorable & helpful. She made us feel valued as customers. Well done!"

  • "Went with my Girlfriend on a Sar afternoon for lunch . Food and service was wonderful . I will definitely go back for brunch ."
    Dined on 3/15/2014
  • "The food is over rated to say the least. The waffle fry nachos were good but the roasted chicken as well as the sides of Brussels sprouts and smashed potatoes were very dry and tasteless. Server was not extremely attentive...we saw the persons removing plates from the table more often than the server. Same type of food as charlestons or red rock but lacking in taste and moisture. Tried it but would not go back and definitely not worth the prices charged. We didn't even want the leftovers to take home,"

  • "It was excellent. The food is great and not too pricey. The ambience is fantastic and it hada great view of the park. It was rainy when we went but they have a cozy patio overlooking the myriad botanical gardens."

  • "Loved the experience and location. Food was good and reasonable priced. Overall it was a nice evening. BUT hated the big screen TV. Out of place and unnecessary. Spoiled a perfect venue."

  • "Only complaint was lack of breadth to the menu. what we got was good. nice diverse appetizers."

  • "dont visit this place as the sun sets in the pm. West exposure hard on eyes. Hard to hear if busy."

  • "Since it's a fairly new restaurant I will give them a little break on the service. The service does need to be address and improved ASAP! With such good food it's a shame to have lack luster service."

  • "The food was good and well presented. My daughter raved about the Salmon special and my wife and another daughter split the rotisserie chicken and loved it. My son and I enjoyed the filet selection. The veggies were well cooked and well seasoned. If it had been a little warmer we would have dined outside. All in all a recommendable dining experience."

  • "The location is appealing and I'm looking forward to returning on a warm night to sit on the patio. My problem with Park House is the problem I have with other OKC restaurants -- ambiance. The floors are hard and cold; metallic tables and chairs scattered across a big, cold room. About half the tables had lit candles, ours didn't. When we asked for one it didn't come. We stole one from an empty table, it went out and wouldn't re-light. Chilly spaces need wood, fabrics and candles/warm lighting. Tablecloths would help. Park House will have to decide: sports bar or real restaurant? If they opt for the latter they can get away with a TV in the bar, but the cold glow of the billboard-sized TV in the dining room was a distraction."

  • "We had a great waiter who knew quite a lot about the wine list, which was quite extensive. We are looking forward to good weather when they open up the patio outdoors. We will be coming back!"

  • "Made reservations to celebrate our 21st Anniversary after seeing it on Discover Oklahoma. The food was mediocre and overpriced, and the service was as bad as anything we have experienced in 25 years of eating out together in OKC. Really too bad, since we are strong supporters of all the other Café 501 ventures in town. Hopefully it was just an isolated, bad experience, but I don't see us coming back."

  • "Dined at Park House before attending a Thunder game and the location could not be more perfect! Loved the atmosphere - great scenic restaurant! The food was very good as well - we had the Rock Shrimp as an appetizer and it was very good. I shared the Fish and Chips with my husband and it was something I would order again - the fish was prepared with a very light and delicious batter, the chips were waffle fries and they were very good as well. One person in our party had the burger and gave it an 8 out of 10, and the other person had the special which were Wings and she loved them. Yes, I would recommend this restaurant and yes, I will go again!"

  • "About 10 of us had lunch here. We decided to sit at two tables to make talking easier. The service was pretty slow. The food did not come out together at either table, but it was good. Hamburgers and sandwiches were hearty. The homemade chips were very good. Halibut and chips were very good. Some businessmen sat near us and were served right away. They had preordered. Smart way to go."

  • "The restaurant is beautiful but the food was not impressive and the service was junk. We had a disappointing lunch and don't plan on returning. Such a bummer, we really looked forward to having a good restaurant in such a great location. We'll try Ice House when it opens.."

  • "Everything tasted great and we had an enjoyable evening, but our waitress (to no fault of her own) was working too many tables spread out across the restaurant."

  • "We went there for Valentine's day and had an amazing time! Service and food was outstanding and as we dined we were able to watch the sunset and city lights come on! After dinner we went out of the side door and went ice skating! Wonderful location for enjoying the city! It is a smaller more intimate restaurant with a beautiful view!"

  • "This was my second time to dine at Park House...the first time was in January at the Rotary Holiday party which was fun, food was tasty but hard to get in line and get around the small table and it was very hard to hear conversations but the venue was beautiful looking out over the park. I had a friends birthday lunch on Monday at noon. The food was very good and the table perfect ....the service was not good as we sat and waited, and waited and waited some more and we kept our coats on the entire time as it was very cold. Overall, I will come back as I love the atmosphere and being downtown is fun but you need to step up your service...."

  • "This was our third time to eat at the restaurant and the most disappointing. We ordered very basic items...chicken sandwich and chicken salad and it just did not taste fresh. The menu is very limited but the location of the restaurant is great for Thunder games. We will try it again."
    Dined on 2/9/2014
  • "Is it a place for "Foodies"? A sports bar? A romantic destination? Trendy? We're not sure. The menu isn't sure either. Although everything we had was delicious, there was a lack of focus as to what audience they were playing to. Steak, entree salads, tator tots, crab cakes, burgers, pasta, and donuts left us confused as to what style restaurant they were. Maybe split it up with a lunch and dinner menu and sharpen your focus. A dim restaurant is great, but please use lighting so that we can see the food that your chef has worked hard to prepare. We did have some ambient lighting from the 4 big screen TV panels that dominated the entire restaurant. We'll go back, but only in warmer months for lunch on the patio."
