  • "Once we arrived, the experience was very pleasant in all respects. I didn't appreciate that when I tried twice to make a reservation over the phone, my call was not returned either time. It took me a while to realize that I was perhaps expected to reserve over OpenTable which I didn't mind at all. But I shouldn't have been told on the phone that someone would call me back ASAP. Almost enough to cause me to change to another restaurant. Glad I didn't, thouogh."

  • "My only (small) complaint is that this brunch took place outside, which I wasn't aware of prior to arriving, and I didn't know we could request a table inside (which would have been more comfortable for my mother, as it was quite hot that day). But EVERYTHING ELSE WAS WONDERFUL!!! The food was amazing, in both quality and presentation--hard to do with a buffet. So delicious, and beautifully laid out. The staff is fantastic and the service was impeccable. I will definitely be back."

  • "We live across the street from this hotel & since it was New Years Eve we didn't want to drive. We made the reservation the day before. Most people in the dining room seemed to be from out of town. The menu was pre fixed. The food was okay. The ambience was bad. Table clothes would have helped a lot, maybe giving the place a New Years Eve look. The waiter was great! They did have entertainment at the bar, which was a nice touch. Expecting nothing, the evening was a pleasant surprise."

  • "When the waiter suggested the cod small plate, i was thrilled. But when it arrived, i did not even have to taste it to know that it had been frozen for a long time. The strong smell, then the dry texture were the major disappointments."

  • "Hostess - warm and welcoming. Server - not so much. He often seemed befuddled and was unable to understand/fulfill diner's question/special request. Highlight of meal was bread basket. Crisps were delightful/flavorful, and bread was warm/comforting. Soup of the day was delicious (squash and jalapeno). Salmon Sashimi was good but not exceptional and had too much sauce on it. Presentation of Salmon Sashimi was very nice. Spicy Tuna Roll was a disaster. Its presentation was so lackluster that diner referred to it as "grocery store sushi" and another diner referred to it as "gas station sushi". Not only did it look unattractive, but it did not taste good or fresh. Both diners sent it back and manager agreed to remove it from bill."

  • "I had breakfast at Park Grill three times. It was very disappointing that they served the "same" breakfast buffet items (no new items)every day. It will be fine for people who stay only for one night, but not for those who stay for more than one night. The services were poor in the morning. We had to wait for more than 15-20 minutes to get coffee/tea. The hotel was nice, but the breakfast was not good and we are not going to eat there again!"

  • "Our young guests loved the attentive service and being able to walk in the garden outdoors while waiting for lunch. We were seated in a very quiet area with an outside view of the garden. We ordered a variety of dishes. Everything looked beautiful and tasted fantastic. Special hit was the ramen bowl -- authentic and rich. A flavor treat. The quality of the bread was excellent, and many loved having pesto as a spread. Prices were reasonable for such high-quality food and service."

  • "The waiter was inexcusably inept. When I flagged him and ASKED for a drink while I waited for my guest - he got sarcastic... asking if I had a "good day" --- I replied, "Until I got here I was." This is not the caliber of service I expect for the prices paid. High-end means same ingredients prepared well - served with excellence - and in a pleasing environment. I won't be back... there are SO MANY better places to go."

  • "The service at the Park Grill was very efficient, helpful, and enjoyable. I would say the food was a little less successful. The Caesar Salad with white anchovies, I must say, was really, really excellent. So were the Truffle Fries. My colleague had the New York Strip which he described as just OK; I had the soft shell crab sandwich which sounded delightful as described, but which in reality was heavily breaded and fried and really did not have any flavor. My other guest had a burger which he very much enjoyed. I would say that if you are looking for the best place in Century City, this is not it, but if you are staying at or near the InterContinental and you don't feel like taking the car back out, Park Grill is a perfectly good choice."

  • "We ate here for lunch while staying at the Intercontinental, and had a decent experience. The staff were friendly, and the food was good. Drawbacks were that it was *very* pricey, and the menu was extremely limited. On a second visit, we had dinner reservations to celebrate a birthday. When we arrived at 7, there was literally no one there to greet or seat us. We waited for 10 minutes and no one showed up. Another (potential) table of guests tracked down a bartender, who told us the host "had taken a break." She didn't bother to seat us, though. Since the restaurant had 1 table taken, we just sat wherever. No one came to take our order, and the menu was the same limited tapas we'd seen for lunch, so we left. Terrible, will never go back"

  • "This was a surprise dining experience! I live P/T in Beverly Hills and was not a aware the Intercontinental was right off Ave of the Starts. They had set bunch out in their garden-with hit the spot as it was a nice sunny day. And by then creating a contest-every mom need it to wear a hat-the most impressive would win a one night stay at hotel-they set the right mood!! It was fun to see the lady's wearing and enjoying themselves.The food was great too. I enjoyed the lobster sanwhich, so fresh theat melt away,ravioli and french toast were great. A good side buffett, we were 4 pl (2 kind of a foddies) yet all have things we liked. A soft Brazilian singer playing on the background, and the service was awesome, specialy one of the managers Mario"

  • "The ambiance was outstanding. I don't typically go for asian inspired themes but Park Grill took its essence and the nod was just right. The food was good and the service was outstanding. The staff made my co-workers retirement lunch very special. They remembered every detail I placed in the comment section when making the reservation via OpenTable.   • "Lovely atmosphere, quiet with tables set comfortably apart..The ingredients were all of high quality, but the execution of the dishes variable.. The food was quite bland, and underseasoned. The white truffle mac and chees had little cheese, and no discernable truffle, the grilled radicchio a soggy, inedible lump, the flat iron steak perfectly cooked to medium rare."

My BlackBerry received sporadic coverage, which was annoying. Worst things about the restaurant was the service - the meal took over two hours, and a party who arrived after us was served long before us, and the sushi was fishy. The grilled veggie sandwich was original and good. I would not rush back."

  • "A really nice variety of flavors and a very pleasant seasonal menu. Blood oranges were among the offbeat ingredients making an appearance. The ahi tuna appetizer was very good and and a surprisngly large portion. The lentil (and blood orange) soup was very tasty and light and came with these very tiny chicken sandwiches which were very good as well."
