The server in our case forgot to put in our order so we waited a lot longer than we would have liked. She did bring us a salad to tide us over and comped the dessert. I especially liked the red lentil soup, and I truly appreciate the offering of a vegeterian entree ( I didn't have to ask!). The beet and endive salad was also a favorite. Service was a bit off - they kept bringing food to our table that wasn't ours. We were unhappy with our wine selection and let our server know. The manager, Justin, came over and got us a different glass. Perfection. Unlike a previous review I read, I couldn't believe after reading 6 people didn't enjoy themselves said nothing. Shame on them. Usually when watching calories, your always left hungry!! The Quail was amazing with the foie gras stuffed cornbread. Portions were just the right size. Yum!3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMMy wife and I had the opportunityMy wife and I had the opportunity to visit the Park Cafe recently during a trip to Nashville to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The reviews I found online were spot-on. The Park Cafe is an excellent restaurant with amazing food. We started with the Goat Cheese brulee, which was very good, although the flatbread was a bit too toasted for our tastes - charred a bit in places. The rest of appetizer was very good, however. My wife had the Atlantic Salmon, which has evidently been on the menu for many years. For good reason. She raved about it for days afterward. I had the Assiette of Pork, which was really spectacular. The desserts were very good as well, although we liked the Creme Brulee better than the White Chocolate Bread Pudding.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMMy wife and I have been hereMy wife and I have been here twice and we love it! Together we've had four meals from the menu and everything is delicious! This is a wonderful place for a special occasion.
