  • "I really want to like this place. The wait staff was very nice but the food is just ok. When you order a half dozen oysters and they only bring 5 what does that tell you? When you have to ask them to bring another oyster and they say the chef is working on it and they forget to bring it to you... what does that tell you about them? My wife and I could only laugh about it as we are driving home realizing we forgot too. Let's just say don't waist your time because we surely won't ever again, and we will spread the word."

  • "We brought my mother in law to Parish for her birthday. The food was amazing - the Manchego black truffle grilled cheese was possibly one of the tastiest things I've ever eaten. I was bummed that one of the featured cocktails was unavailable (they only had about 6) and was told that they didn't have any grapefruit juice - not a real exotic item, especially given the small cocktail menu - you'd think they would stock up on the required ingredients. We did small plates and everything was delicious - the new fois gras terrine was really good - mixed with peaches on brioche - YUM! The dessert choices were limited and similar so we went somewhere else for gelato. But overall - LOVED it!"

  • "This restaurant was recommended by some co workers, I took some clients out for dinner, the place looks very cool and there's even a small market downstairs Food is tasty but very small portions and the pricing is very high. The salads don't even look like salads, my salad consisted of maybe 5 grape tomatoes split in half and a few slices of some kind of cucumber. Very different but not for 11.95. The menu is small If u are looking for a different kind of place this is it! All of the food did taste good"

  • "Very slow drink service which came after meal served. Shrimp and grits recommended but not good. Very few tiny bay shrimp with flavorful sauce over runny grits. No thanks. Music blasting so loud we could not hear each other speak. Music choice must have been manager's preference. High school rocker annoying music. Spoiled the experience. Pleasant staff and well done interior design, but I doubt I'll return."

  • "We went to Parish for a quiet night out without kids. So, we were on the clock for paying the babysitter. The atmosphere is very calm and quiet and we enjoyed our drink at the bar while the waiter was busing our table. Not sure why it took 30 minutes to do that, but I flagged him down to see if it was ready yet. The upstairs was practically empty while there was a private party downstairs. We seated ourselves and then waited 15 minutes before flagging the hostess down for some menus, flagging her down again to place our order, and graciously accepting our waiter's multiple apologies as he passed us on his way somewhere else. He seemed down, maybe he got dumped. Still had a great dinner. We forgive him, this time. '"

  • " The food was not good and the service was simply terrible. We asked out waiter for oil and balsamic vinegar so that we could dip our bread and you would have thought we asked him for dynamite. He literally said that he had never received that request before so he was not certain if they had oil and balsamic vinegar so he had to go check. The whole evening continued in this same manner."

  • "really yummy brunch menu and well made brunch cocktails. Have also been here for dinner, and i know several friends who stop by the basement market for sandwiches & a beer while walking the belt line. Combined with a mani pedi at Passion Nails across the street, its a perfect spot for a brunch & nail girls day out!"

  • "While the food at Parish is fantastic we had to wait over and hour and a half for it to arrive after ordering. We watched multiple tables come and go around us while waiting. Our server was very polite and in the end comped all of our food which was nice."

  • "We returned to Parish to expect the amazing service and food we had before. It WAS one of our favorite restaurants when Justin Amick was the GM. We arrived to noticed right away how dead the place was. Then it took almost 15 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge us at the table. Our waiter acted like he just came off the street and acted very unprofessional. Anyone and everyone that had him for a waiter was complaining. Then trying to get our wines each time we were empty took what seemed like years. Food wasn't at all as good as I remember. When I order food in what is supposed to be a Louisiana style restaurant, I want that food represented. My "fried chicken" was not southern, it was more asian! We won't return."

  • "The only reason why I wouldn't give Parish 5 stars is because of the service. From the front of the house to the wait staff, it was almost like they were overwhelmed. There were probably 5 12:30 reservations that came in all at once and the one host had difficulty seating them all timely. Our drink orders took strangely long (there were three signature drinks, we ordered one of each). That being said, the drinks were outstanding, Parish's bloody is AMAZING. The food was out of this world. My parents mentioned the muffins were awesome. Another thing, valet parking is complimentary. But if you want to wander around Inman Park, they charge you $10. I just spent money, you want more? Not in love with that idea."

  • "We made a reservation but don't know why we bothered. The service was a mess and walk-ins were seated ahead of 2 parties that had reservations. There was only 3 visible servers in the room and frustrated diners without food everywhere. After waiting for 30 minutes [PAST our reservation time], with no apology, no updates on when we would be seated, we finally left and went to another restaurant across the road. We had a fabulous time there."

  • "I love parish. I won't stop going there but good God- our waitress at brunch was an idiot. Brunch was at 12:30, some of our part was a little late but she didn't even ask us for our order until 1:30. She couldn't remember the drinks orders (what was she writing the whole time we were telling her what we want??) and she was just the pspaciest person. The food is so good though. I just hope i never get her again. "

  • "The Flat Iron stake was undercooked. Restaurant was out of scallops which was one of our choices. The chopped salad had lettuce that was not chopped and should have had iceberg lettuce instead of butter lettuce. The only good food items were the bread and salted butter along with the dessert."

  • "Good service despite our server being new. My friend and I got several small plates to share, and we were pleased with most of them. She felt the eggplant was a little too salty for her taste. My favorite was the grilled cheese! Small wine list but I had a great Oregon Pino Gris. "

  • "we brought our daughter here looking for something different. I like the small plates but they ARE small. The service was slow. We were disappointed. We were hoping for a better dinner because we are bringing friends down here in in a month."

  • "Jason at Parish is one of the best in Atlanta. A total pro - engaging, friendly, attentive - without being fawning. Aren't we all tired of "I'm Sean and I'll be your server. You might consider the highest-priced entree on the menu." ?! Jason is terrific and will get us soon back to visit a fine restaurant."

  • "I love going to Parish. The ambience was wonderful as always. We ate in the patio and the weather decided to cooperate. The food never disappoints even if the service was a little spotty tonight. Our bar tender in particular seemed to behave as if he couldn't be bothered with us. Not sure what was up with him as our service has always been fantastic at Parish. Although we had intended on having dinner and drinks, we ended up making dinner out of the wonderful small plates and appetizers. The cocktails were great. All in all, a fantastic evening. "

  • "This restaurant is so cozy, but has enough room to comfortably seat larger groups. The menu was incredible - I really could go back weekly and not try the same thing twice. There's a darling market and coffee bar downstairs, so if you wanted to pop in for a sandwich for lunch you could. The upstairs was just the right amounts of rustic and shiny to make it feel special, and you could enjoy a long dinner (and we did!). The wait staff was great - our server was really on it without being overly solicitous, and the when we ordered something from the wine menu they had run out of, the sommelier offered us a similar, delicious wine and came to our table to apologize. Overall we had a wonderful evening, and can't wait to try it again!"

  • "Renovated building, revitalized neighborhood, right next to the Beltline, local food and beers, and great service - get a real feel for Inman Park and Atlanta's in-town neighborhoods. Perfect."

  • "Food was good; our server, however, was just not that nice. You expect your server to smile. She had a "trainee" with her who was FAR nicer and more engaging - his name was Jonah or Jonas, we think. Couldn't tell you her name at all. May try again, but her attitude may keep us away. And we spent $175 which is typical for nice dinner but not with surly server! "

  • "The food was tasty. The waiter was nice. We had to keep looking for him though. We asked for a to go container and the check then he disappeared. We saw him finally and he gave us a nod as if to say he's coming but disappeared again. Finally a manager came over and asked could he help us. Then the waiter came and took care of us. It started off great, just didn't end too well. Great food though and the place is very nice to look at. "

  • "My family ate brunch and the food was good but not great. The sitting area was tight and its a treacherous walk through the dinning area. The tables are packed so tight that my arms touched the table behind me. Im a small guy and it was a close fit in between tables so if you are a bigger person good luck. Downstairs is a great market with coffee and pastries with much more space so if you come try to sit downstairs. "

  • "Went here on a weekday night and the weather was PERFECT so we sat on the patio. Service was awesome...so was the wine and gnocchi! The ambiance is definitely really cool/romantic inside but we couldn't pass up the perfect weather. I'll definitely return!"

  • "Anytime there is the possibility for brunch with friends, I always suggest Parish. While sometimes the service can be slow, I don't mind much since usually we are just taking it easy on a Sunday anyways. I love getting a mimosa and I always get the fried green tomato benedict. There are many other things I'd like to try, but I can't seem to say no to my usual go-to. I took a bachelorette to brunch last Saturday and the service was spot on, they even filled up her big bride cup with her mimosa. I've also eaten at the deli and the soup and salad combo is great for the price, the egg salad sandwich is delicious! "

  • "We chose Parish for our 14th anniversary dinner. Everything about our experience, from the host, to the waitstaff, to the atmosphere, and most especially the food, was delightful. We especially loved the beet jam and goat cheese toast and the fried eggplant appetizer (a hidden gem, according to Romulus, our server.) We will definitely be back!"

  • "I love the local food used in their menu options and the overall atmosphere at Parish. We had a great time enjoying a few small plates as a group and then a couple entrees as well. We weren't rushed, and the experience was terrific!"

  • "love love love Parish for brunch, the service, food and ambiance is fantastic!!! I was told that dinner is spectacular so I decided to give it a try, it seemed like they only had ONE waitress who was stressed out and scrambling around. she did her best but it took over an hour to get our food, we ordered drink but it took a while to get those as well and when we did, they were watered down because they were sitting for so long also our water glasses were never refilled. We even watched a table of 6 get up and leave after 45 mins of no service. sad. Was it a bad night? was it a fluke thing? it was a saturday evening at 7:00 when we arrived... what happened?"

  • "I had been really looking forward to eating at Parish. I had seen lines out the door for tables at Brunch time before and I figured it must be great. I love the shop downstairs, location, and space. I planned our eating debut there for my birthday as a special outing. Unfortunately nobody enjoyed the food. The "pancakes" were flat crepes, the whites of our eggs were runny, etc. The food was not good. The bloodymary was delicious. The 1 thing we might come back for is a drink. Too bad b/c we love the space! We didn't complain because it was my birthday and that would have been bad vibes and we were trying to make the best of it. My fiance hooked up the desert for a birthday song:a fudge square came out but no candle for blowing out. :("

  • "Took some out if tone guests here for brunch. Food was great, but service was not very attentive (empty coffee cups, no drink refills etc, and our server was seen. 'idle chatting' nearby. That said, once we pointed out to management what was happening, they jumped on it and followed up. Perhaps they is it need to instill a sense of high service in their staff. The location near the Beltline is awesome and the food was tasty. "

  • "Our table of five had a fantastic Easter brunch at Parish -- from beginning to end. The staff could not have been friendlier or more attentive. Our waiter, Romulus, was friendly, knowledgeable and on top of every part of our meal. The food was delicious, the atmosphere and décor of the restaurant itself was just what we were looking for -- current and really warm and comfortable. Loved the music in the background -- a fun mix of eclectic stuff. The downstairs market was also really appealing with the patio that fronted the Beltway. All in all, an excellent choice, would highly recommend it and we will be back!"
