Diner Reviews
  • "Got dinner with my wife at Parish a few nights ago. Waitress was wonderful, very knowledgable about specials. Got $2 Abita beers that were great. We split the Spring Salad, which I'm not sure if anyone would actually call that dish a salad. It was maybe a handful of green garnish, three splices of turnips and a bunch of spicy paste....for $9. Not much food to split, for way too much money. That was the only low-point of the meal. For the main dish I got the steak, my wife got the duck. Steak was pretty good, but portion size seemed small for $25. My wife devoured her duck, but again wished she had a little more and left hungry. Why didn't we get a second serving of bread?! Overall, I'd recommend Parish. Nice food, nice atmosphere"

  • "We made reservations for 11am Sunday brunch, although I don't know that we needed them as there seemed to be a brief lull in patrons. However, by the time we left, the place was bumping. The manager/owner (?) who greeted me when I came in checked on us throughout our meal and addressed me by name, which I appreciated. Our waiter, Romulus, was great and super attentive. Two of us ordered the fried chicken eggs benedict and one friend ordered the fried green tomato eggs benedict - we were super pleased with the dishes and cleaned our plates. After brunch, we headed downstairs for some treats to take with us. We purchased some chocolate chip cookies, banana bread, and homemade biscuits. Again, all were fresh and delicious! Highly recommend!"

  • "Parish was a good experience overall. Their menu has gone down hill over the past year or so, and the food was pretty good. Great patio and atmosphere and service was excellent."

  • "My son and his fiancé told us about this place. After engagement pictures we went for brunch and had a wonderful time! Food was outstanding and the ambience was great!!"

  • "Returned to Parish. I've been several times and am never disappointed. Diverse menu. Excellent service. It's a gem in Inman Park. It has become a regular stop."

  • "I wrote a review. It wouldn't Submit. You said it was too long. I fit in the box, so how could it be too long!"

  • "Always love parish; dinner or brunch. Sometimes service can be slow on Sundays but who cares-- it's brunch. Been so many times, always enjoy this place."

  • "Memorable - wonderful interior, charming staff and very satisfying food. Our group of a teen, college kids and us (the rents) all gave it a thumbs up."

  • "We sat outside and enjoyed the spring weather. The sea bass was excellent - perfectly cooked, and served with a lemon curd sauce (which was on the plate - and in just the right amount), and polenta. We shared the apple crisp for dessert and enjoyed it - not too sweet, and a very nice crumb topping, in addition to the ice cream (which was just the right amount of ice cream to complement the crisp). The wine special on a Thursday evening - order a glass of wine and get a bottle for the price of a glass - was a nice surprise. Service was excellent, as well."

  • "Sat on patio and ordered multiple dishes in each category and shared. Every dish was fabulous:Black truffle grilled cheese, scallops, crispy eggplant, garden salad, Bronzino. Plus we loved the "buy a glass of wine and get the bottle" deal they have on Tuesday and Thursday!"

  • "Fell short. Limited menu that looks enticing but does not deliver. We ordered multiple items, not even the truffle oil grilled cheese was good. The environment was lovely, inviting warm space. We wanted the food to be better. Cocktails fell a bit short too - no one wants a martini that tastes like pickle juice."

  • "While this restaurant has slipped some in recent years.....the bloody marys used to be a whole lot tastier than they are now....it is still a great local place that has some some comfort food....plus great grits."

  • "I took a party of five to Parish to introduce them to the great food and service during Restaurant Week. Our server was excellent, the food was top notch, and we enjoyed a tour of the downstairs market area after dinner. I will definitely return to try more things on the regular menu."

  • "Service was mediocre at best. The waitress failed to bring an appropriate amount of silverware. She also completely forgot an entire round of drinks; instead of owning the responsibility she blamed the bar tender. Decor was cool. However given the poor service and cold food we will not be returning or recommending."

  • "I've been to Parish many times; however, my friend had never been. We had a delightful dinner. Our waiter, Romulus, was amazing! He was very funny and nice, and gave us tons of fantastic recommendations. We had delicious grilled cheese, scallops and caramel apple tart. Everything was great!!"

  • "So we like to go to Parish for yummy food but we REALLY like it because you can make a reservation on Open Table. That said, we did have to wait about 15 minutes for a table, which is fine. And then when we sat down we were ignored for a bit....it took almost 20 minutes from when we sat down to when we actually got our hands on our Bloody Marys. The food was slow to arrive and I was disappointed in the soft boiled eggs that came with my chicken benedict (supposed to be poached....they weren't runny at all). and there was barely any gravy. But I was afraid if I asked to have it fixed we'd be there forever. The timing just seemed to be 'off' that day. but we will go back, I do love the craziness and the overall yumminess of the food."

  • "this is hands down one of the best places I've ever eaten that in all of Atlanta. I come to parish at least once a week. The menu with every change in season 0 an amazing"

  • "The service staff was very accommodating to a late night birthday request and stayed late to help us celebrate. While I wouldn't suggest everyone start running to expect that, I think it's a testament to the fact that they were really committed to making sure we enjoyed ourselves. The drinks and food were great as well."

  • "My wife and I come here about once every 6 months when our family will keep the kids to give us a little get away. We love the fried chicken benedict and the pancakes. The service is always fantastic and the coffee is awesome."

  • "I love this restaurant and it never fails me. The service this time was especially great, Simone, was wonderful. I do really miss the beignets and then I got used to the madelines and those were taken away as well. The trout and eggs were amazing as was the belgian waffle (as always). Thanks for another great dine!"

  • "One visit was excellent, the second poor. Hence the mediocre rating. Was it because the chef was absent on the second visit? If so, and the poor visit was a fluke, go with the excellent rating, But if the kitchen team really cannot function without him, better check to see if he will be there for your proposed visit. At any rate, zero for consistency."

  • "We loved the atmosphere and decor at Parich in Inman Park. They were packed so the initial service was slow to get going. Once the food and drinks arrived everyone totally enjoyed the Southern Cuisine. The downstairs market area was also a treat."

  • "Immediate seating for my reservation. The waitress was great. My main course was not cooked to my request so the waitress returned the item and a "NEW" plated food appeared. She was very generous. Excellent meal"

  • "The menu is creative and forward thinking. The flavor depth and profile for the dishes is out of this world. Farm to table scratch made food that I need at least once a week. Chef has a unique take on some classic dishes and there are a quiet a few that are his brain child that are out of this world (I.e. The kale salade for example) Great food...great service..great environment. ..super low prices"

  • "This is the second time we have been to Parish. The experience has been great both times. The food is excellent and the mixed drinks are some of the best in Atlanta. Its hard to find anything to complain about . If I had to make one suggestion for improvement, it would be to make the tables shorter. They are too long and it makes it hard to talk to a date. Thats a minor suggestion."

  • "My husband and I went to try this place out for dinner for our early Valentine's Day outing and we were not disappointed. We had awesome service and the food was delicious. I started with the wedge salad and had the fried chicken as my entree. So good! My husband started off with the tomato soup and had the rainbow trout for his entree, he loved it! We then ended the night with the banana bread bread pudding. OMG, my absolute favorite dessert and it was amazing! We'll definitely be back. :)"

  • "I really love this restaurant. The interior and decor are some of the best in Atlanta (it's in a restored train station). The menu changes daily. One great tip - Thursday nights they have a deal where bottles of wine are sold at glass prices as long as everyone buys an entree. My only complaint is that the service is really lackadaisical. Our waiter disappeared for about 30 minutes after our plates were cleared."

  • "My husband and I had brunch at Parish last weekend. It was delicious. He had the chicken benedict and a bloody mary. I had shrimp and grits and a mimosa. The drinks and food were absolutely delicious! Our server was very knowledgeable and the manager came by our table to greet us. It was a great experience and we will definitely go back when we are in Atlanta."

  • "Food is good there but not very repeatable. Great one time, just passable the next. I'd love them to get some more consistency. Also, their soda's are usually bad. They need to clean the system and tune it for enough carbonation."

  • "I made a reservation for 7 p.m. My party showed up 20 minutes early. We were told to wait at the bar because they were running on a 30 minute delay. I completely understand not having a table ready before the reservation but it took us 30 minutes to get a drink at the bar. We waited at the bar while there were at least 3 tables open that we could have been sat at. We were only seated after I complained to management about this fact. We were seated and saw our server a max of 3 times during our service but saw her frequently after we were done eating and they were closing and she was ready to go home. I wouldn't eat here again because the service was just horrible."

  • "We went to Parish and was greeted by their manager. He was super nice and even entertained us with stories of visitors to the restaurant. The food was delicious and it was my third time there. It's always delicious and our server was knowledgable of items. Downstairs is a coffee bar that we may frequent another time. It's loud but it's a restaurant on a Saturday night in Atlanta so expect that. Be sure to make reservations as they book up fast. Valet parking is free and really nice."
