We just love this place, and it's been a pleasure to introduce our friends to the Bistro as well. The duck entrees are wonderful, and the dessert crepes decadent. Perhaps a few new wines would be nice for a change. Service is always warm, with everyone treated the same. Highly recommended!

The Paris Crapes Bistro was a nice find in Niagara Falls - off the beaten path in a transitional artsy neighborhood. The food was good but a bit espensive - understandable because Niagara Falls is such a tourist area. Overall the food was very good, the atmosphere very european and the service was good considering the host / waiter / bartender / crepe maker was all the same person.

I enjoy good crepe restaurants, and this one is that, very good. Tie this with a Bistro and you have Paris Crepes Bistro. The food is excellent. The waiter, who I assume is the owner, is attentive and chatty, and helpful with the menu. We will be back, even though we live an hour and a half drive away.

We have been to the restaurant in the past so we were looking forward to another good experience with our two young daughters. We were so disappointed. The waiter made us feel as though it was an inconvenience to serve us that evening, not friendly, rushed, no extra plate for a meal that was to be shared, we have never had such poor service. The food was good as before but we will NEVER return.

We've gone for brunch/lunch twice. First tried it based on a mention in a local travel magazine, which stated it was the "real" Paris bistro experience. I've never been to Paris, but the place is intimate and charming, and both times we visited the food (we tried crepe, egg, and salad selections) was unique and great! Service also helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Espresso as good as any I've had anywhere, including Italy. Prices reasonable for the food and interesting atmosphere. They have a small patio on the front of the building, but there is currently a lot of street reconstruction going on, so sitting outside may not be especially desirable right now. Overall very enjoyable, we'll return when in the area.

The Bistro has a nice decor in a quiet area of downtown Niagara falls which appears to be in the process of rehabilitation. However on at Saturday night by 6:30 it was over 85% full but staff had trouble copping. There only 3 wait staff for about 35 guests and they also had to act as bartender, bus boy, maitre de and make dessert crepes. They did reasonably well but the shortage of staff slowed down the level of service. The noise level was also high due to the number of patrons and no noise buffering. Food was OK but supposed fresh made crepes were only luke warm when they arrived at the table Bistro was only 25% full when we arrived but they still tried to seat us in the middle of the restaurant in the main traffic lane

Although the service is sometimes lacklustre, and sometimes downright amateurish, the food is always reliable. The tourist traps in the Clifton Hill and Stanley Street areas can't possibly hold a candle to the food at Paris Crepes -- the best galettes this side of Brittany. The food and wine are all reasonably priced and the quality is very high. Put up with the wait staff -- they're trying -- and stay for the excellent food.

The crepes were cold. The coffee was very very weak. The ambiance of the restaurant was very Parisian. There is a picture of the owners family hung near the entrance among other art work. I was taking pictures of the artwork on the wall (including the family pic) and that is when the owner of the restaurant came out and asked me to delete it. She said I should have asked permission before I take pictures. Hmmm...then why hang it in public? The owner was rude, not welcoming at all, and did not even bother to smile. Our server was nice.

My cousin and I dine out frequently.I came to try the March dinner special, which was mussels served in a variety of ways.I was pleased ;I ordered the mussels prepared "a la francaise " .They arrived fresh, plump and hot and were served with well cooked "frites"!My cousin orderd an expensive , but tasty boeuf bourgignon (beef stew). We were both a little surprised that no bread or rolls were offered,as bread is usually a staple in French and Quebec restaurants. For dessert,we ordered jam crepes;they were tasty ,but had no eye apppeal,as the crepe was simply served face up on a dish with the jam underneath .My meal was good value for the money ,but appetizers, wines and French classic dishes tend to be pricey.Stick with the crepes !

The Paris Crepes Bistro remains a favourite. The ambience is very Rive Gauche, the service always warm and friendly. Might be time to change the wine selection a little, to give repeat customers something new to try. We went for the March Mussel Madness, and the mussels were tasty--several recipes to choose from. It would have been good to have some bread to sop up the broth. Excellent frites, and a real gem of a restaurant.

Our second visit to this restaurant was to celebrate our friend's birthday and to introduce her to this wonderful place. We all had savory crepes (mine had ratatouille and cheese) and the three of us shared 2 dessert crepes (lemon and sugar, dark chocolate filling with espresso ice cream). Superb food! And the service? Well, for example, a party came in after us and they did not speak English. The wait staff went and got the chef who spoke French and took the order. How nice! We will be back.

We enjoyed our dinner very much, especially the two types of crepes (Hawaienne and Coat Albert) and the 1/2 baguette were all very tasty. The salads included with the crepes were both very fresh and nicely dressed. The French Onion soup with beef was very robust. Dessert--the Niagara Falls crepe--was delicious with lots of fresh fruit and a generous helping of vanilla ice cream. We also enjoyed the two types of cider we had instead of wine although there is lots of choice on the wine list.

We've been here a couple of times, once for dinner & once for lunch. Both experiences were quite nice, the food was tasty & the service was good. Sadly this last visit on February 20 was rather disappointing. We arrived promptly for our 7:30 reservation on Saturday night. We were seated immediately; there was a lovely jazz duet playing; they left 25 minutes later. Our drink order was taken, then the food. The service was so so, as though they had something better to do; not sure why as  it was near empty.  I had the escargot & it was delicious, my husband had a salad which was just OK; for our mains I had the smoked salmon which was fine & my husband bœuff bourguignon. It was more of a soup than a stew. I doubt we'll go back again.

This is my third time there and each time it was a nice quiet romatic occassion. I would like to see more main course selections but it is more than adequate to get the true french experience. If you like crepes the selection is vast and varied (the name says it all right?). Probably one on the best value for what I felt was a true Paris ambiance you can find anywhere.

I loved the authentic paris feel of this restaurant but was disappointed with the poor service. Also the prices seemed over the top for what we got. I recently moved to Niagara Falls and discovered this place this summer. I have been here quite a few times now and bring all my family members whenever they come to visit. My sister and I are determined to try every crepe and are checking them off one by one. The Bounty and Niagara Falls are our favorites so far. The omelettes are also delicious. It has a very cozy atmosphere with a nice French decor and funky music. The moment you step inside, you feel as if you are really in France. The waiters are always friendly and we love how you can watch them make the crepes right there. Love, love, love this place!

We took a chance with Paris Crepes Bistro because of the high Trip Advisor rating & we were not disappointed. We wanted something off the honky-tonk beaten path that is Clifton Hill. The food was fresh & delicious, and healthy fare. We had the squash soup, salad, beef bourguignon (tender!), four cheese crepe and crepe anglaise for dessert. There is nothing I would have changed about our menu. There was soft live jazz (sax & base) that kept the ambiance engaging. The lighting is dim not dark, and there were clearly many regulars dining there. My only advice to out-of-towners is if you are staying at a fallsview area hotel, you may want to drive or taxi. We walked, and some of our walk was through the unseemly side of town.

The Paris Crepes Bistro is a nice addition to the Niagara Falls area for French food dinning. The ambiance is very nice and gives a you a feel of European flair. The food was ok, but nothing really special and service was fine. The portion verses price is unbalanced. My husband ordered the Boeuf Bourguignon and he was disappointed not only in the somewhat bland taste but the portion size which was very small and not filling for $20.00. They make their own bread which is very good, hot and fresh but charge you $4.50 for 1/2 a baguette which is approximately 8 small rounds. We did order crepes for desert which were very good and reasonably priced. We will return, but it will be for the fresh pressed coffee and desert only.
