The experience did not have a good start. I requested a quiet table for my friend's birthday. We were seated right at the register. It took 15 minutes for our server to appear. Service was somewhat sketchy. Wine came out first, water 10 minutes later. Salads came out. No bread. Appetizer came out, bread took another 10 minutes. Entrees were served. Dessert followed, coffee took another 5 minutes after dessert. It wasn't that busy to warrant lackluster service. Food was good as always. It was loud enough to make conversation difficult. A little disappointed, it's not usually like that.

We've been going to Paravicinis for years, and we're always pleased with it. Great food and service. Being a non-drinker, I can't speak on the wine selection, but my husband has always liked every glass he's had, and he usually tries something new every time. If you have the chicken parm' bring your appetite...it's huge. Their red sauces have a slight kick and are great. Make sure you check the specials sheet. We frequently get things from it and they don't disappoint. We always make reservations (even at off-times and days) to make sure we can get a table. This restaurant fills up fast, and with good reason. Try this place if you haven't. You won't be sorry you did.

Having dined at Paravicini's many times for dinner, my wife and I decided to stop by for lunch. They have a very nice lunch menu, with quite a few options, priced at $9 for the entrees and about $2 for a salad. My wife had a pasta dish and I opted for the veal. Both were very good and the price for such a scumptuous meal was outstanding. If you are on a budget, or just want a top quality meal for a reasonable price, then this is a great bet. Also, there weren't many diners on the day we were there, so the usual high noise level was toned down to quiet and relaxing.

We found this restaurant just in time to have a festive last meal together before we left our student in Colorado Springs for her first year at Colorado College. Our meal was wonderful. Everyone was happy with their food (appetizers, salad, soup, entrees and dessert); it was all delicious! It has become a priority and a tradition for every trip to Colorado Springs. We are so glad that we found this wonderful place.

This was the second time we dined here. The food was great. I had the Chicken Valeria and it was delicious! The one drawback was that a man at the table next to us was smoking a vapor or e-cigarette during our meal.

I chose this restaurant based upon many great reviews but was very disappointed. The appetizers, soups and salad were amazing, however the chicken in two dishes was under cooked and the lasagna was cold. They did comp the lasagna and chicken but still disappointing. Our server seemed distracted, maybe too busy as the restaurant was packed. Because I know everyone has a bad day I would try this restaurant again.

The staff is very attentive and caring and the quality shows at each step of the meal. We highly recommend this lovely gem of a restaurant.

We met a couple of friends for dinner. None of our group had been to Paravicinis before. It was so loud that we were unable to have a conversation without yelling at each other. I was hoarse by the time I got home. The food was mediocre. The service was the best part, but unfortunately was not enough to make up for the rest of the experience. For the price it was truly disappointing. I will not go back.

Every year I go to the IAFF's Fallen Firefighter Memorial in Colorado Springs and when I want a great Italian meal, Paravicini's is the place. We had a group of 8 so we decided to order a family style meal. Franco helped choose a menu including: calamari, mussels, salads, 2 pasta dishes, and entrees of chicken, veal and sausage. Both the food and the service were excellent. I can't say enough about it. Do yourself a favor though, get a reservation. I made mine weeks in advance and it saved us from an hour long wait for a table.

Our meals were the BEST. Service at the bar was the BEST. Table service, a bit to be desired. Waitress had no personality. Service was SLOW but it was crowded with a huge teenage homecoming party. Understood. Had to ask for bread. When bread finally arrived, it was stone cold in the center. Best meatballs EVER! I am not from your area and was in transit looking for Italian food, plus on a date and had Googled Italian restaurants when your name came up with a high review rating and is reason for making the choice to have dinner with you guys. Great choice, very much like the food with Kathy being one of the best waitress I have ever known, great girl. It was a bit noisy with people sitting very close and my being with girlfriend, so would have like a little more romantic spot, but hey all were very friendly and made for a good experience. We have put you on our list of one of our favorite spots to return. Thanks, kp of Beaumont, Texas

Exceptional dining experience from the greeting at the door, through the appetizer and entrees to the dessert and after dinner drinks. Suzonne was, as always, an absolute gem, staging the appetizer, entrées, drinks and desserts so no more than one course was on the table at any time and making sure we had everything we needed without "hovering."

Had high hopes for dinner, but went downhill fast. Sadly after we were sat we had the pleasure of heading the next table yell at their server for overcharging and messing their check up. We then found out that the server getting yelled at was ours. After ten min of waiting our drink order was taken. Then five min after that our drinks came and then more waiting for our food order. Veil tasted as if it had been frozen over and over. Lemon garlic sauce was good, but stale veal just ruined it. High point for the whole dinner was our bill wasn't messed up. Guess were the lucky ones.

Our party of 6 recently dined at Paravicinis on a Saturday evening beginning at 7pm. We had made reservations. We were seated at a booth that was somewhat of a "U" shape. Because of this and the noise level in the establishment, it was difficult for us to converse. We don't have any complaints about the food or service. Both were good. But the noise level was too high for our liking. Because of this, I would not return on a busy weekend evening. I would say my overall enjoyment of the evening was GREATLY reduced by our inability to converse well with those at our own table.

This is one of the places we try to get to when we are vacationing in the area each August, but I'm not sure I'd return next year. It was a bit lacking from last year both in food quality and service. The salad was limp and the house dressing bland, the cod florentine was likewise rather bland although it was cooked to perfection. Our server was gloomy and inattentive. I think we got one smile out of her. She asked us our drink order and we told her water at first, but she never asked us later what our wine choice was. We had to flag her down to order it. When we were done with our meal, she plunked down the check without a word. We would have ordered dessert, but she never gave us that opportunity. Other servers around us were far better.

As always, Paravicinis Italian Bistro offers exceptional home-style family run favorite meals... BUT, what I've noticed over the past two and half years is that the portion sizes continue to grow SMALLER - sort of like candy bars - same price but you get less. The quality is still there - but I ordered the lunch tortellini special and had only about 15 bites (portions). I find this true also of most of the dinner entrées I've also received. It's still a great family restaurant, but it seems the owners are just serving smaller sizes.
