  • "Service was a bit slow. Food good , but portions small. My salmon was tasty on a bed of chestnut spatzel with two very small stalks of fennel. The salad was good sized and fresh. Lemon dessert was nice. Other diners enjoyed there entrees, steak, mussels and salads."

  • "Every time I have the pleasure of dining at Paramour everything is wonderful. The food, service, the attention to detail - especially by Vincent, to the fresh flowers and crisp linens. It is one restaurant that I especially tell people to go to for a romantic setting. Lucille"

  • "This is a great spot for either casual dining in the bar or a special occasion dinner. They have excellent cocktails and a nice wine list. The Simple Sunday deal is a great value on the weekend."

  • "This was our first time at the Paramour. We went with another couple and were very pleased and impressed with the food, service and ambience. Our waiter was attentive, knowledgable and personable. The restaurant was full but not too noisy. Just a great place for a romantic evening or dining with couple(s). The decor was elegant but not too ornate. The bar area outside the main dining area was beautifully appointed and comfortable."

  • "This was our first visit to this restaurant. The ambiance is very good as was the service -- perhaps because there were very few customers. The food was terrible!! While the menu was interesting, not a single dish was well-prepared. I do not recommend this restaurant."

  • "absolutely the most AMAZING food!!!!!! staff was so nice and excellent. we had a great night. Pricey though. Easily over $100 per person if you drink alcohol."

  • "Everything from food to service to ambience was very nice, but for the price point there are many other places in the area that are superior."

  • "We just had dinner here with friends on a Friday night and got the 5 course tasting menu with wine pairings. We each spent $180+ per person (for 4 people). For that amount of money we were expecting stellar food. The food was just good. Some of the food combinations were not ideal (like snapper with beets) and the wine chosen with that particular dish was a pinot noir, which did not taste good together! Some of the dishes were great, but we were expecting every course to hit it out of the park for that amount of money. The dessert wine was unpalatable-- too syrupy and sweet. And it was served with dessert - too much!! The service and ambience were great, but we just were not pleased with the food in light of how expensive it was."

  • "The ambience was lovely but service confusing. We had three servers. One took our order, one delivered meal and check served by a third?? I never knew who to address. Frittata was dry, however, my friends loved the French toast. Enjoyed the appetizer bar while waiting for entrees . Nice touch."

  • "....to have this great restaurant in the heart of Wayne! The decor is lovely and inviting. The food is delicious and served beautifully. Our party of six had a fabulous dinner and lingered for 3 hours. We were never rushed and the servers were always gracious. I had been to Paramour for a delicious brunch in the bar and now it will be a neighborhood gem to return to for dinner as well"

  • "I normally have great meals here but was very disappointed on my recent visit for lunch. My guest and I ordered lobster roll which was so disappointing. The lobster salad did not taste 'fresh' and the accompanying French fries were equally bad. While our meal was off I have to say our server was outstanding to detail. I will give the restaurant another try and hope it was an 'off' day."

  • "This was our third visit to Paramour for my husband and me. This time we also brought our 12 year old daughter to dinner. We were seated at booth in the main section of the restaurant. I think this restaurant has one of the nicest color schemes and elegant decor in the area - perfect for a special occasion dinner. Service was excellent, and the food was outstanding as well. My husband had the scallops - delicious! I had the mussels - sweet and tasty! Our daughter ordered the strip steak - cooked to perfection!"

  • "Decor and overall scene a plus, but it was a Slow Sunday night and the service was choppy, especially considering the sparse crowd. Food came like warm."

  • "We have been here before but the food was amazing this time ! It's obvious that the restaurant has improved their menu and food quality. Everything we had from the appetizer to dessert was fabulous . Thank you for a fun and delicious night!"

  • "We went to Paramore with 2 other couples. Everyone was pleased with the food, ambiance and service !. We waiting at the bar for our party to arrive and drinks were not nearly as expensive as I thought they would be. Dinner was out of this world. I had the butternut squash soup which was incredible, the best i have ever had. My husband had the potato gnocchi which was delicious too. For dinner we both had the carmelized scallops. These were fabulous! Everyone at our table was pleased with their meal. Not one complaint! Service was great too, our server Kelvin was very attentive but not bothersome. I will definitely return for another meal here!"

  • "This was our first time here. Very modern decor with a comfortable feel. The food was very good and they have a nice drink selection too. However the service was very slow and the staff not very attentive to the table."

  • "Went for dinner. The food was "up and down." The apps we ordered were very good (pork belly, deviled eggs, house chips, ceasar salad). However, our entrees were only OK. I ordered the mussels which were borderline warm. Also, I felt they were lacking in flavor or maybe it didn't have enough of the seasoning it was suppose to have. My husband ordered the special, which was lamb. He said it was good but not extraordinary for the price. The desserts were delicious. What helped bring the rating up for me was the service. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. She answered all our questions with a smile and didn't appear to be annoyed by them."

  • "Although pricey, Paramour provides a great atmosphere and delicious food. All four in our party had a great meal from appetizer to dessert. Tables are a perfect distance from one another so that you can have a private conversation."

  • "If you want to relax in a comfortable and beautiful room while enjoying delicious, fresh, quality dishes with attentive and friendly service then Paramour is the place. It has become our go to neighborhood restaurant whether we are in the mood for a burger or flat bread kind of meal, or the most amazing braised short ribs or salmon or soup du jour or salad. We go if it's a special occasion or just want to grab a bite to eat. Even the ice cubes in the cocktails are special."

  • "We sat at the Chef's bar and had a wonderful experience. It is more difficult to converse, but we felt like we had our own little Food Channel cooking show going on in front of us. The entire kitchen staff was friendly and happy to share their expertise with our party."

  • "We have eaten in this space through its various incarnations and in general it has been good. We have had brunch and lunch multiple times at Paramour and it has been very good - a little inconsistent at breakfast but a lovely, if expensive, lunch place. Dinner last night was superb! Everything is a little expensive compared to the surrounding restaurants but it was delicious. The flavors were perfect. The temperature of the meats, the crispness of the salad, the presentation on the plates, all fabulous and worthy of excellent downtown dining. The sommelier was very fine as were the busboy and the hostess. The waitress was attentive but not of the same quality as the decor and the food. The music was incongruous. We will be back."

  • "My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Paramour Restaurant this weekend. Although we are local Philadelphia residents, we are always looking for unique and fabulous culinary opportunities coupled with engaging and entertaining social interaction and the staff of the Wayne Hotel and Paramour Restaurant anticipated our every desire and exceeded every expectation."

  • "We celebrated a special occasion at Paramour and enjoyed it very much. We both had soup; I had the beet salad (beautifully composed with several varieties of beet and a delicious soft cheese) and my partner had the scallops; we both had desserts. Our waiter gave perfectly adequate service (aided by the extra food delivery people) but annoyed me a little (I am a feminist) with his "the lady first" and "lady" and "gentleman" talk right out of the 1950s. He also made it sound as though the restaurant was his own "I have an excellent Pinot Noir..." (should be "we"). I couldn't think of a graceful way to tell the waiter that I don't like being referred to as a "lady"...so I'm being indirect and saying it in this review!"

  • "While the atmosphere is fine, the food was just average. My friend ordered a waffle which she said was delicious, however the ball of butter in the center was frozen solid. The bacon arrived after she was half way through breakfast in an unattractive oven proof black tray. I had tea which was served in a tiny cup ,4 big gulps at best. Was offered more water which was lukewarm and no new tea bag which would have been fine if the water was hot. So would I go back? Don't think so. For $60.00, hot water and soften butter might have made the difference between average and above average."

  • "Excellent! Not just another place to eat brunch. They put their own touch on things to make it unique. We really enjoyed everything- the decor, ambiance, food selections, Bloody Mary bar, apps, quality of food and service. Parking was a bit of a challenge- typical of Wayne."

  • "I really enjoyed dining at Paramour. The only problem was no Gluten free bread. Since this is such a widespread allergy, I believe a restaurant of this level should get great tasting Gluten free bread and desserts for guests."

  • "This is a fabulous restaurant. The bistro/bar area is fun and upscale and I always have a great time when I come. It's just beautiful and transporting. Feels like one is in a movie because of the shine and the smiles all around. The staff is friendly and all rooms are immaculately clean. The food is delicious, too, so whether you come with a spouse, friend or colleague it will work!"

  • "J'adore Paramour ! This is a neighborhood gem. Lovely, yet hip ambience. Friendly and professional service. Wonderful fare. Very nice wine selection including a 'pink' Prosecco which they serve and I love. Only criticism is that they are a little slow in serving the dinner rolls after one's ordered drinks. Frequently have to ask for this."

  • "Brought my parents and in-laws out for brunch and everything was perfect, especially the Bloody Mary Bar. Menu offers those easy things for the elders while mixing in some new infused selections for the younger crowd. Service is great and the place was decorated for the Holiday."

  • "Second try for this venue and while the service was much improved, cannot say the same for the food. Soup course was served luke warm and main course bland at best. Wine pairings were quite enjoyable. Find uncovered vinyl table tops out of character for this architecturally beautiful dining room."
