"Was initally surprised to how small the resturat was, but after being seated really did not notice the noise and it felt more cozy for our group of 6. Thought the food was exceptional everything that we had was delicious. The service was friendly and knowledgeable. Our server was able to offer several suggestions for appetisers that we could share and meals that fit some of our dietary needs. Overall a wonderful experience."

"We just fell in love with Parallel Seventeen! We were surprised to see they are offering a permanent $52.80 menu, and it was amazing! We chose the wine pairings as well, and they offer smaller tasting portions for wine as well, which was the perfect amount.

We love the small intimate feel of the restaurant, and our server was fantastic! This will be on our regular list from now on!!"

"I am very disappointed in the way we were treated upon arrival. I made a reservation at least three weeks ago and called to confirm and request outdoor seating on Friday evening. Upon arrival there were several table open on the patio, but we were told they were reserved and that a table for three was hard to accommodate. Inside we were given the option of a table by the front door or by the kitchen - and again told that a table for three was hard to seat. We said fine, we'll just go somewhere else. As we were walking out the front door they were able to find a table for us. In general, I felt like we did not fit their "cool factor". I was there with my parents who are in their mid 60s - and so we did not warrant the same consideration"

"Went for a birthday celebration. 2 drinks: one was fabulous, the other was not. Small plates: 2 out of 4 were quite good: Ginger + coconut encrusted calamari was tasty as was the Tuna Tartare. Lacquered lamb ribs were unexceptional. Steamed white asparagus dumplings: don't understand the online excitement. Entrees: 2 quite good, 1 very bland, 1 very very good. Kasu roasted duck breast was well prepared but lacked a unique character. Caramel braised pork belly - interesting. Stir fried chow fun noodles needed flavor. Northern style yellow curry: beautiful and wonderful, the best of the lot. Dessert: Five spice banana spring rolls: just okay. Overall was very disappointed and will likely not return."
