Paragon Restaurant & Bar - San FranciscoHard to Believe!It was hard to believe that our waitress could attend to our needs in a timely manner given the size of the crowd. It was pre Giants baseball night and the place was packed. Yet she got our first round of drinks to us quickly and our second drink was just as timely. She was very good. And with all the plates that were pouring out of the kitchen, our burgers were cooked perfectly to our request. The only dish that needed some help was the pulled pork sandwich. It was a little on the dry side, but once again, our server immediately brought us extra BBQ sauce which moistened the sandwich. Mushroom cigars, burgers, blackened salmon, and bread pudding were the favorites from menu. Everything served was enjoyed. After we got our main course it was like we were forgotten. We were not asked if we wanted another drink/refills and I had to flag her down to get our check so we could get out of there. The food is good with some healthy choices on the menu in addition to the usual comfort food. I love the energy and the lively ambiance that happens as the crowd builds before the game. The noise level is low enough to talk business but loud enough that you don't feel like the tables around you are listening to any sensitive information. I enjoy the location and the service. Got a table outside. It was great to have a place to meet our friends, have a good meal and catch up before we headed to AT&T. Paragon is a fun spot and not as crowded and crazy as the spots directly across from the ballpark. EVERYTIME I GO THERE.THE BAR ALWAYS MAKES AN EXCELLENT DRINK, AND THEY HAVE A GREAT BEER SELECTION. THE FOOD WAS THOUGHTFULLY PREPARED AS USUAL.
