We all had different entrees but no one had a single complaint. We all enjoyed our meals and had enough room for dessert. Everything was delightful and there were no left overs to take home. Both cooked to perfection and served hot. Attentive but not buggy service. My only concern was how close our table was to the next. Make a reservation if going after 5:30. Even if things don't go exactly right, Paradiso makes good-faith attempts to fix it. Particularly San Francisco sophisticates. I don't tell them anything about Paradiso's up front. I just let this special restaurant win them over. We were both very pleased with our evening and choices overall. The waiter was very knowledgable in suggesting drinks and food and appetizers based on what we were feeling and that was a refreshing feeling. The food was very well prepared and we also enjoyed that very much we will be returning to paradiso. I had been there before and going a second time was even more of a treat. :-) next time we will get dessert.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AM10 for 10I took a group of ten co-workers to Paradiso based only on a random web search. All ten plates went back without a speck of food on them. Everything was amazing, and perfectly prepared. On top of that, the service was excellent. One server handled dinner and drinks for a table of 10, with absolutely no delays!

My guest ordered the single pork chop which appeared to be overcooked but guest said it was juicy inside. Good trick for pork. My scallops were a little overdone for me. Accompanying fries were crispy and hot. YUMMY Complimentary tiramisu for the b-day girl. Our server, Hannah, was friendly, competent and patient. The specials are noteworthy and we tend to order from that menu, although everything I have had from the regular menu has been delicious. It was a casual upscale atmosphere of what appeared as locals young and old. Also, I asked for my chicken without sauce over it so the skin would be crispy, so it came with no sauce but the skin was just soft and wet anyway and the chicken was way too salty. My partner loved his lamb shank and they have the best apple crisp ever!! I'll definitely go back, but I won't get the chicken. The food is always perfectly prepared and the staff is friendly and attentive without being overbearing.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMAn old favorite of ours...We like to try something new each time we come, but just to be sure, I tried what my son had before - the rack of lamb, and my husband tried the shrimp pasta. The lamb flavor was very good and not gamey at all, and this is only one of 3 places where I like lamb in California. The texture was a bit chewy though, so I thought that could have been better. Nevertheless, I ate the whole meal.
My husband is a huge pasta fan, and though the flavor was very good, the sauce was a bit much on the pasta portion. He would go for his tried and true clam and linguini next time.

We have family brunches for special occasions here as well as stopping by for a great lunch. The cuisine is consistently excellent and we like the location. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and very professional. The wine was delicious and the food was over the top amazing!! We had the seared salmon on a bed of new potatoes and seafood raviolis...each bite was just an explosion of flavor. Everything was done to perfection. For dessert we opted for sorbet and gelato, the perfect ending to wonderful meal.
