Get there early because the noise level goes up steadily and it becomes harder to hear across the table. The food is very good. Appetizers are a bit pricey. The $12 escargot in a tomato sauce was excellent-the best part of the dinner. Entrees are mid to upper $20s. Corkage fee is $12, but Sunday is BYOB night. Food was excellent with a small but diverse lunch menu. The scallops with mushroom risotto exceeded my expectations as did my partner;s salmon with cannelloni. The well-lit modern dining room is well appointed and still casual and very comfortable. The best of course was finding a menu with good range. I felt there was something for every mood. I chose a great entree - black seafood risotto with lobster. The spinach salad appetizer was the perfect starter. We had a bit of a mix up with our reservation yet they made sure they were able to seat us at the time we requested. The way in which this situation was handled made us truly appreciate the importance that they place on
the customer experience. The food and wine were excellent. I am particular about the atmosphere in which I dine and I liked this environment for it's energy combined with elegant simplicity. The only negative was that our server seemed somewhat disinterested in us and our selections. However, everything else was excellent and we would highly recommend this to anyonje looking for good food in a comfortable, casually elegant setting.
