  • "Had to come here for my sister's last day visiting California from Ohio. The ahi tuna sandwich is the best! Love eating with my toes burrowing into the sand. It is always fun seeing the spectacular dishes everyone else has ordered. One of these days I have to find enough people to order the huge seafood sampler topped with a whole lobster! If you can save enough room, the chocolate cake is to die for!!!! Or just bring it home for later. A walk on the beach after is a must. Just lazing in the lounge chairs tops off a spectacular day."

  • "extremely crowded. Lack of service. Mediocre food. NO PARKING. Expensive parking. Will not return again."

  • "Extremely friendly and accommodating staff, BEAUTIFUL setting and tasty drinks made up for the lackluster menu. Would go again in a heartbeat!! Even though the weather was cool and breezy the heaters made dining outdoors comfortable. Planning to take advantage of other facilities offered there in the future, not just dinner."

  • "We truly enjoyed our beautiful afternoon at Paradise Cove Beach Cafe, the service and food were amazing and the birthday "piece" of chocolate cake was the most generous slice I've ever seen in my life!!!"

  • "I took my Grandchildren to Paradise Cove for Spring Break and they loved it. Big portions and great view!"

  • "even though we had a buzzer when we got there, it never went off and when we went in after 30 minutes, we were told that they had paged us, but we didn't hear it even though we were on the chairs in the sand right in front of the resturant. Also we almost didn't get in to park, as everything was taken, including overflow and about 1/2 mile down PCH1. We finally talked our way in by showing a handicap placard."

  • "Great place for lunch - best hamburgers going!! My friend also really enjoyed her clam chowder. Great view, right on the beach, couldn't get any better!"

  • "I used to think of fried food and burgers when I thought of Paradise Cove. But really needing to be by the ocean, we took out-of-town guests there for a "locals" dinner, and boy was I surprised. The salad section of the menu was a lot larger than I remembered. My husband and I split an order of RJ's baby back ribs (did the ribs from RJ's? was it the same recipie and that's why they are called RJ's ribs?--who knows? who cares? they were soooo good), which came with a side of sauteed fresh peas--delicious! The ocean is still the same and I love being able to eat outside with my feet in the sand, listening to the boom of the waves. We all had a fine time."

  • "This is a very popular place, usually very busy. We made reservations and arrived ahead of time, but still expected to wait. It worked out that they could seat us on time. They're not kidding -- the portions are HUGE, so we split/shared appetizers and entrees, and it worked out fine. Cocktails are tasty, service was attentive and friendly. Our reservation was at noon on Sunday, and even though they do have a breakfast menu, they stop serving at 11:00, which was disappointing to several in our party. Their breakfast menu looked yummy, and they were hoping that service wouldn't end so early (especially on a weekend, when you're kind of expecting brunch type hours). But what we did order was delicious, so no real complaints."

  • "I was disappointed they would not celebrate my 8 year old birthday because it was before 11*00 - kids don't understand that. I even put birthday on the reservation. They should of let me know that before we went there @ 8*45. it was disappointing!! A song and a bowl of ice cream would of been really cool!!!"

  • "You choose Parasise Cove for the location and ambiance knowing the food is nothing above average. It is hard to think of a better place to drink a margarita, listen to the ocean, and watch a sunset. Paradise Cove is THAT kind of experience. Even on a day/night of rain or cold, when you're forced to be inside the restaurant, there is something to redeem this place, It is a feel good place to be."

  • "We had a table outside in a little caban. The food was good. Our waiter was very kind. After we went to the beach to finish our drinks in lounge chairs. Very nice moment."

  • "This was my second time at Paradise Cove and it did not disappoint. Great food, huge portions and sitting on the beach with your feet in the sand doesn't hurt. The prices are quite high but I suppose you're paying for the real-estate just as much as the gigantic portions of quality food. Equally good spot to hang out and have a few drinks on a sunday afternoon or for a romantic dinner of an evening."

  • "We went to Paradise Cove to celebrate an anniversary. The weather was great so the cove was busy. This was a Friday as well and the restaurant filled up quickly! I was very glad to have made a reservation ahead with Open Table. Great food, very good service & huge portions! The noise level was high so conversation was a bit suppressed. Wonderful people watching:)"

  • "Weekends after 11:30. NO parking and NO shuttle. My wife had a knee injury and when I Ask to drop her off they said absolutely not. Sorry! So.. It appears they 're Not disability friendly. You can't have it all!!"

  • "The food was amongst the best seafood we've ever had, but parking charge? Really? $6 to park and buy food? HUGE Parking lot so not needed. They should charge by time only and subtract 1.5 hr for eating..that way those that stay to wander around the beach pay for that and customers who eat do NOT pay for that."

  • "The front desk host was the best. We had some issues with finding parking and the other part of our party had checked in BUT didn't check in under our reservation. Luckily I spoke with a very patient and happy host that cleared it all up. She was able to clear up the confusion and get our party in on time. She was great and really started the experience off well for us. Thank you so much!"

  • "Since I live in the Valley, Paradise Cove is a wonderful destination and always worthwhile. We particularly love taking our Seattle friends and family on a March 80 degree day and 'spend the day at the beach ' like we do it every day. All of our family enjoy the beach scene at Los Muertos beach in Puerto Vallarta and we all feel that Paradise Cove comes closest to the environment we love in Mexico. Your food is so good and we love your menu. Your wait staff is outstanding in terms of monitoring the table so that everyone's desire is fulfilled immediately. Thank you and we look forward to coming again soon."

  • "Good scene, good food, but very poor service. Took over 10-15 minutes for a server to even stop by our table and say "hello" then when asking for lemons for our waters they never came after the 3 times we asked for them. Apparently they ran out of lemons, which is highly doubtful in California and at a seafood restaurant. Only good for food but not for service, it was terrible."

  • "This place is WAY over priced for the type of food they server, quality of food, ambiance, and sevice! The only thing this place has is location."

  • "I frequent Paradise Cove with my 90 year old grandmother as well as my 11 year old daughter and husband. The service is usually awesome! My grandmother always orders the Mango Boba from the bar and we always get comments on it. All the Boba drinks are great! We love ordering the fresh sea food tower and clam chowder. I'm hopeful oysters will soon make it on the menu :)"

  • "Paradise Cove Cafe is a great place but we came at a way too busy time. Service was fair. I think it would be better during a non peak period."

  • "Food was great as usual. However our waiter wasn't friendly at all. Brought water, brought the bill. Thats about it. We have had good service here just not most recently. We requested a memorable table a week in advance, but got an average one in the middle of the restaurant but we will always love Paradise Cove."

  • "Our reservation was for 1230, but there was a car accident on PCH and it was clear that we would be late so I called the restaurant. The girl on the phone was very nice and said we might have to wait a few minutes when we arrived. We arrived about 15 min. Late, the place was packed, standing room only at the bar and waiting area. We were seated in ten minutes and still were offered indoor or outdoor seating. I was given a cute little bear as a momento for the day, nice touch by the staff. Our meal was very good, drinks too! Overall nice experience. The only thing confusing was we had four different wait staff serving our table. We didn't know who our waiter was, we never saw the guy who took our order again. Nice place beautiful location"

  • "I didn't have very high expectations coming here except that I wanted to eat on the beach. The food was better than expected although certainly not fit for foodies. Our waiter was excellent, extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We ate outside in the sand - just what we were looking for. Take advantage of the $6 4-hour parking and take a stroll down the beach after your meal."

  • "Paradise Cove Beach Cafe was highly recommended to me and my husband by several friends that live in the area. We made a breakfast reservation. It was too chilly for outdoor seating but we enjoyed the sunshine and beautiful ocean views from our booth seats by a window. The staff were so friendly and gracious. The food was as delicious as everyone foretold us it would be. And their "famous" bloody marys will not disappoint. This is a "must dine at" spot for anyone living in or traveling to the Malibu area."
