Great views of the beach, an outdoor patio at sunset; It was a memorable dinner because it was so much dang fun. It might be bar food, sea food, but they do it right. The wait staff wants you to have a good time. The food was great and they give you a lot of it. Our waiter was not a people person and a bit slow, but I still had a great time. I requested a window with a view of the beach in my reservation request for my girlfriend's birthday and we were seated by a window with a view to the beach! Paradise Cove does a great job of handling hoards of people as we were there on a Sunday and the place was jumping with tons of people, but the staff does a excellent job of making you feel special despite the numbers of people who are there. We came back next day with a friend. Our favourite Malibu experience. Great food, staff, location, ambience. And some very interesting local history thrown in. Killer drinks served inside carved-out pineapples, massive portions of seafood carried out in VW-bus-size martini glasses, toes in the sand, waves crashing--can't think of a better way to spend a couple of hours on the beach in beautiful Southern California.
