At Pappas Bros. Steakhouse, the focus is a total quality dining experience; in the food and wine the steakhouse offers and in the pristine service it provides. The steakhouse features USDA Prime, in-house dry-aged beef, superior to all grades and known for its marbling, texture and flavor. The menu also includes seafood selections from Pacific Blue Fin Tuna to Live Main Lobster.

The award-winning wine list boasts over 3,500 selections and the cellars have an inventory totaling over 35,000 bottles from every major fine wine producing region in the world. Both the Dallas and Houston steakhouses received the coveted 2013 Grand Award, which is the highest distinction possible for wine selection by Wine Spectator. Dallas has been proud recipients of this prestigious award since 2011.

  • "The food is exquisite and the service is impeccable . The staff is attententive but not invasive and extremely knowledgeable. The quality of the food is consistent over time. The wine lists is a novel; but do not be intimidated your server will guide you in the right selection. The wine lists covers all price points and has a wide selection of both US and international options. The environment is 1920-1930's era upscale diner/brassarie. The noise level in the main dinning room can be anywhere from a buzz to light roar so request a table in the library or side room if you want a little less noise. "

  • "We took a couple to celebrate the husbands promotion. Everything was excellent from the appetizers to the desert. It was a great celebratory dinner. While the lobster bisque is not available every day anymore, they offered to make us some. Great service."

  • "Papas Bros has been our favorite spot for wonderful steaks and excellent service. The service still sets it apart. Our steak (prime, bone in strip) however was nothing special. It was not highly seasoned, had no crispy exterior and arrived at our table undercooked. They were VERY apologetic, and whisked it away to be cooked a little more. We enjoyed our wonderful side dishes. It returned over cooked and I did not say anything as my sides were almost gone. They comped dessert- very nice. (service shines here). We left happy, full and feeling that even though the steak was 'okay', our time at Papas was once again special. We will come back, if only for the attention to detail and a very good (if not great food) experience. "

The 18oz prime ribeye and the filet were perfect. Nice energetic atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. We passed on dessert but saw them arrive at the 6 top next to us. They looked incredible! Add Pappas Bros to your short list of great steak houses!"

  • "I had heard a lot of positive things about Pappa Brothers, so had pretty high expectations for our evening. I was definitely not disappointed. I had made reservations right away for 4 adults and one child. I was a bit nervous bringing a child to this restaurant, but they handled everything so well. Our waitress was amazing. She remembered everything about us, asked great questions, and was very attentive. We were celebrating a special event, and she went out of the way to make dinner special. It was great. The food was amazing. The portions were huge, so plenty to take to enjoy later if you wanted. The desserts were incredible! I would recommend saving room for those. I'd definitely recommend Pappa Brothers."

  • "The service was great. Out server was very informative on specials and she answered all my questions with a smile. The steak was amazing. We ha e eaten at some top name locations in Dallas as well as Las Vegas and there was no comparison . The steak at Pappas was by far the best I have ever eaten..very flavorful and juicy. The sides were just as great..the Mac n cheese was awesome and the au gratin potatoes were good and different from other steakhouse varieties. All around a great experience and looking forward to returning. I wish there were one in Fort Worth"

  • "My girlfriend and I decided to celebrate our anniversary dinner at Pappas. We had an awesome experience. Andy was our server and he was very knowledgeable about anything on the drink and food menus. We ordered the seafood tower, porterhouse steak, blue crab and havarti mac and cheese and had lime and raspberry sorbet for dessert. Best steak we've ever had. Seafood tower was top notch with three amazing dipping sauces that paired perfectly.The mac and cheese was loaded with lump blue crab meat which was perfect with the creaminess of the havarti. All in all a great dining experience."

  • "Ordered the bone in ny strip medium rare. Came out rare and sent it back. Came back medium well and sent it back. Came back rare and are it because at this point we were starving. Manager came over and apologized comping steak which was nice, but this is disappointing for this restaurant. Perhaps overloaded with prom goers...We make 3-4 trips to this restaurant per year and steaks are normally good."

  • "The Good: Salads and side dishes were excellent, and the filets were the best we have had anywhere. The Bad: On a previous visit the Crab Cocktail was cut into chunks large enough to dip into the cocktail sauce and get the desired balance of crabmeat and sauce; but on this visit the meat was essentially shredded, making it very difficult to dip the meat into the sauce without completely soaking it. The Ugly: The bone-in NY Strips were tough. One final comment: The cheesecake is huge and delicious, but it would be truly outstanding if it was served with a strawberry sauce topping rather than a sliced strawberry."

My only complaint is my reservation was at 7:45 we were not seated till 8:30. My husband and I were celebrating or 23rd anniversary I asked for a special table, they seated us by the bar. We spoke to manager they moved our table."

  • "I happened to be in Dallas for the second time in three weeks. Went with family and we'll all loved it! Splurged on the Kobe Ribeye and it was delicious. It included a side and salad, so not that bad a deal. It a lo included the roasted bone marrow. I tried it and didn't care for it, but I know a lot of people do. For a steak house in this price range I would definitely recommend it."

  • "The service was exceptional. The food was outstanding. In my opinion, Pappas Bros. is the best place to get lobster in the DFW area. The crab macaroni and cheese was AWESOME! My one and only complaint was the house salad. I realize that salads aren't their bread and butter, but I expect a lot more from Pappas Bros., especially when the salad is $11. It had those bitter chunks of pale, greenish-yellow iceberg lettuce that only the unique individual enjoys. Its only redeeming quality was the dressing. This restaurant can do so much better."

Our waiter notified the floor manager and she moved us to a quitter area after our meal so we could have desert and enjoy our anniversary. The food was great and the service WAY above average."

  • "The service was outstanding. Our server, Helena, tended to us perfectly, was friendly and helpful but not overly so. The wine steward was knowledgeable and friendly, sharing info with us. Although we were told our corner was among the quietest in the room, we did not like sitting by a door to another room. We will ask for seating elsewhere next time. It was our anniversary, and the house gave us a lovely dessert, although we did not ask. My husband said it was the best steak he had ever had in a restaurant -- the 22 oz. bone-in ribeye. (Our dog enjoyed the bone, too.) My 8 oz. filet was perfectly medium-well, which is hard to achieve -- or has seemed to be before this dining experience."

  • "The hostesses are professional and personable. The menu is a little a pricy and not intended for an every night dinner but, special coactions this is the place. The steaks are GREAT and the serves is the best I have ever had in the DFW Area. I will say it is a little more dimly lit that I like but, for special occasions and a romantic night it is the rite place to take a lady. Over all I will be back that is for sure. I will not hesitate to recommend Pappas Bros. Steakhouse to anyone."

  • "My wife and I came back here again for our anniversary. It was a great experience. We started at the bar where we were greeted and served with a smile. Great drinks too. Then our dinner was superb. The steak, asparagus and mac n cheese were scrumptious, portions were quite generous. Not a bad steak in the house. However, particularly delicious was the prime beef carpaccio, really recommend it. They also have one of the best wine lists in the area, enjoyed a nice Malbec. Tina was our server and she was very attentive, considerate and smiled the whole evening. Pappas brothers added a special touch for our anniversary, made it memorable and enjoyable."
