Started off with the bacon wrapped scallops, let's just say it didn't last long on the table. For dinner I had the 16 oz ribeye and we ordered multiple sides for the table wild mushrooms, lobster mac & cheese and potatoes au gratin and all was delicious, but too much food so enjoyed my leftovers the next day. The steak was still delicious the next day. For dessert had the gooey pecan pie came with a scoop of pecan praline ice cream...mmmm, enough said.

The two steaks were re-done and management decided not to charge us for them because they said the steaks should have been perfect the first time. The only downside was the noise level. It was just me and my wife and we were at a two top table in a seperate room from the main dining area which was fine except two large groups were also seated in that room after we arrived and the noise level was so hig it was difficult to have a conversation. In my opinion, Pappas is a real standout. The Filet Mignon had great flavor--charred nicely on the outside. The side dishes were equally great. Service was excellent and before dinner, the bar staff were attentive and welcoming. We were celebrating my son's college graduation and they were nice enough to comp the desert for him--which was OUTstanding as well. Large portions are part of the theme but are meant to be shared. The slice of New York cheesecake was the largest I have ever seen - could seriously be shared by 4 people! It was decadently good. Service was spot on, knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive.
