"Pappillon is an excellent cross between a brasserie and an Irish bar. Although fairly large, it is comfortable and generally welcoming, with dependably good food (bar food, salads, some respectable entrees). A great place for a reasonably priced lunch, after work drinks and hors d'oevres or casual dinner. It will not be mistaken for fine dining, but the food is good, the ambience is relaxed, the service is friendly and dependable and you will not need to raid someone else's wallet to pay the bill. I meet friends there often and am never disappointed."

"The food was good, the atmosphere and ambiance was great, the piano player was entertaining, BUT they have to get better wait staff. This is the second time I have been back in two months or so and the service is going from bad to worse."

"While the staff was very friendly, they weren't very attentive, thought we were but a handful of folks in the place. The portions were too large, and the price paid not worth the quality of the food served. There is a sense that nothing is quite screwed down tight here: the silverware is all the wrong size, the plates to large for the tables, and three sound systems seem to compete with the piano player."

"The Sunday Brunch is great. We keep coming back every time we are in the area. They have a piano player at Brunch who is very upbeat and adds to the whole feel. He interacts witht the childrenasking them what is their favorite songs. The food is very good and the whole atmoshpere of an old school Bistro is on target. They have plenty of room for groups and parties. We plan on going back again when we are in town."
