"I went to Papatzul for a quiet lunch for a friend and it was perfect. I imagine it gets very busy in there at times, but this was not one of those times. Did not need a reservation for lunch, even though it never hurts to make one. The service was on the casual side, but the food (pork tacos) was delicious, and prices were very reasonable -- would definitely go back."

"I went to Papatzul with a group of my friends for my birthday dinner and it was perfect! Fun ambiance, great drinks, and most importantly, DELICIOUS authentic Mexican! Perfect for a fun Saturday night dinner with friends. I will definintely going back as the food was delicious and I want to try other items on the menu1"

"Made last minute reservations for 2 couples for valentines day, our first impression of the restaurant, it looked old and dingy. They sat us down and the waiter took too long to introduce himself, even though he didn't. After about 15 mins he came to the table to get our drinks.
Service was horrible, the restaurant it's not big at all to have us waiting for our appetizers, entrees and drinks.
Food was ok, we have been in other Mexican restaurants and have had better. The only thing I can recommend are there margaritas which are very good. Other than that I would not go back."

"Wonderful inventive Mexican menu which takes its cue from all over Mexico (and with many hints from France). Food has been consistently excellent. Whether it is simply lively or too loud is a matter of personal taste, but everyone (including us) seems to be having a good time.
Highly recommended."
