Diner Reviews
  • "Have been to this restaurant many times and enjoy it. Food and service is always great. However this time we had a very bad experience with service and I do believe it was because of the waiter."

  • "food was good. frittata little on small side. great service"

  • "The food was excellent. I was there with two friends - we shared everything. They were wonderful about putting things in three plates. We were a little surprised and disappointed in the service. Had to ask for bread. Our waitress definitely had other things on her mind. Will go back."

  • "Although some of the new additions to the menu were interesting, I was very disappointed that some of the favorites were removed. Very much miss the Veal Chop, Grilled Salmon has been replaced with what I felt was an inferior recipe. And adding pancetta to Spaghetti Vongole is something to reconsider."

  • "My friend and I were the last ones to leave the restaurant. Staff were seating in the dining room for what seemed like a meeting. We never felt rushed or pushed out the door. We decided to leave only because we knew the restaurant probably needed to close. I've been to Papa Razzi many times. I am vegan and always get a salad. It's really the ONLY restaurant with a delicious salad on the menu. It's not your run-of-the mill mixed greens thrown together."

  • "First off, we were seated next to the bar and the front door. Every time the door opened, a blast of cold air hit us. I wanted to move but friends were at the bar so we stayed where we were in order to converse with them peroodically (our decision). I ordered the lobster special, a spaghetti dish with chunks of lobster. It sounded like a great meal choice but what I received was spaghetti with an enormous amount of chunks of tomatoes and very little lobster. The sauce was just okay, nothing to really set of the lobster. I wouldn't order it again. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. For dessert, she recommended the lemonciello marscapone cake and I was thrilled with it. Overall, the atmosphere was wonderful and festive but not too loud."

  • "Generally a positive experience. First timers and we will probably come back although we do not eat out very often. Food was good but my Angel Hair alio olio was not very well prepared or served. Waitress was a little loud but attentive."

  • "They offer gluten free options that taste great. Seared Shrimp and risotto was delicious."

  • "My daughter wanted to go as she has loved her past visits. This time around I was very disappointed. The pizza was not hot and the toppings were so minimal. My dad has the chicken balsamic and he told me on the drive home he was hoping for a hot meal but it was warm. (had he told me at the time, I would have sent it back for reheat) Daughter and son-in-law seemed to enjoy their meal. For the price, I would choose another place next time. It was mediocre at best. Sorry!!"

  • "We wanted to celebrate our anniversary with a nice nice out , our night was nothing to talk about that's for sure. Wine and drinks were fine. Food not so much. Over priced and description was misleading. When we spoke to the manager she apologized and said yes, the menu description could be misleading.....really? If you are aware why haven't you changed it! I will not return. It was nothing but over priced and ordinary."

  • "It's a good place to eat. Tables near the front door is not okay, and a no go. I was very cold. It was very cold specially now in the winder."

  • "The menu has many Italian dishes. We shared two appetizers also as well as a dessert. I highly recommend the pollo valdostana. This time my chicken was alittle burnt but it wasn't bad. For it being a busy holiday the service was still fast so I was impressed."

  • "Wonderful, consistently good food - with excellent service - many waitstaff have been there a long time - so they are like friends."

  • "Tasty Italian food. All made to order. Their risotto of the day is usually very creative and totally delicious. If you don't have a big appetite they will make almost any dish, appetizer or pasta, in half portions."

  • "We frequently stop here when flying in and out of T f Green airport. We had a late reservation and we're running late. We called to tell them ok four late arrival, no problem. We closed the restaurant. Food was good, service was gracious, in spite of our lateness. always a favorite when in the area."

  • "The atmosphere here is great - the wine list was impressive for a chain restaurant. But the food could have been better. The chicken parm - while a great portion - the sauce was very bland and didn't have a lot of taste. They use seasoned breadcrumbs and there is a spice in there that takes away from the meal. The Cesar salad was just fair also. Tasted too fishy..too many anchovies."

  • "Great restaurant. The service is always excellent, and the food is always great. Try the gnocchi di sorrento - it's delicious!"

  • "Dined here with 3 friends. Good drinks. Great food. We were all pleased with our dinner. Not rushed, allowed to linger over coffee without guilt. Will make this a regular for a night out with friends."

  • "Very relaxing looking at all the sights of Garden City. The perfect place for lunch or dinner!"
    Dined on 10/5/2013
  • "Food was fair at best. Service was slow. Waitresses messed up one order and the food had to be brought back ad exchanged, which took a good 15 minutes. The meals with overpriced and under proportioned. For a native RIer who knows what kinds of Italian meals you can get here, Papo Razzi was a disappointment. This restaurant should not be able to call themselves Italian. Awful. Would not go back."

  • "The hostess & waitstaff was very comfortable with the gluten free options available. Suggested a great wine. We had a nice time."
