They sat us (party of 5) at a spacious table inside, and noise wasn't a problem at all. The food was phenomenal, easily the best trout I've ever eaten. Everyone in my family really enjoyed their meals (which is no easy task) and the portions were a good size (big but not huge). Service was good, a little bit slow on the bread and water, but our waiter was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The chocolate cake is the best I've had in Boston, better than finale by far! They were patient with half our party being late and happily accomodated our toddler. The food was excellent. When we checked on that, the hostess (someone different from who originally seated us) told us that once a party was seated, the reservation name was immediately eliminated from the computer screen. I'm vegan and always have trouble finding something acceptable to eat and my server knew exactly what I could order and ever support staff member who came to bring salads or entrees made mention that it was vegan - something VERY important - it's a nice reassurance that my meal has been prepared to my dietary restrictions. I should mention that this all happened on one of the busiest dining days of the year - the night before Marathon Monday.
