The food was outstanding, the service was excellent, making our evening one of the most memorable. Two of our party had their prix fixe with hanger steak and that was very good. My osso bucco was perfectly prepared this time and last. The location is extremely convenient for before or after theater dining and the quiet, elegant atmosphere is nice for an intimate dinner. Parking is convenient and free with validation. On our first visit, the service was excellent. This visit, however, they were extremely busy with the pre-theater crowd, and dinner took quite a while--not an issue on a relaxed Mother's Day dinner--but the waitress seemed to feel compelled to continuously come by and tell us that she was taking good care of us...very unprofessional.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was excellent. Each dish was cooked to perfection, the wine list is top notch and we found the ambience sophisticated, quiet and 'calming', particularly after a stressful jam-up of traffic from SF. This makes it a no brainer if you are attending a show. There is a special preset show menu option on nights of shows. The food was great with friendly service that is not trying to rush you out the door. There is a full bar & a nice wine list.
