I can honestly say this was the worst Italian food I've ever eaten in my life. I don't think the "chefs-if that's what you can call it hem" know what Italian food is. I grew up in Brooklyn, New York so I've eaten plenty of Italian food. I had the bolognese sauce and I could bearly eat any of it. My husband had lasagna. He left half of it. He never leaves food. I had Caesar salad. The dressing was not what it should be. The noise level was deafening. Awful experience.

ONLY brunch menu available on Sundays which was disappointing. food was good however portions very small which is why they push the $25 all you can eat option rather than 1 or 2 dishes from the menu. You'd have to have a very bit appetite to eat $25 worth however ordering a single omelet was inadequate (added veggie side). Would have preferred to order from regular lunch menu which was not an option.

Our server was pleasant and helpful, but that was the only good thing about the dining experience. Ordered wine, salad and pasta. The wine was a light pour for what was ordered. The main entree showed up before the salad - so the salads were cancelled. The main course was poorly prepared , had little to no flavor and was barely luke warm. We will not return as too many better options in the area.

Our leisurely lunch was wonderful. The service, ambiance, food and wine were excellent. Our server (unfortunately I don't remember her name) was perfect. She seemed to understand that we would not be in a hurry and did not hurry us at all. She had a great personality, was knowledgeable about the menu and wine list, and was attentive to perfection. Thank you for our perfect lunch!

We chose Paolo's to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was a beautiful day so we chose to sit at an outside table near the fountain in the Reston Town Center. Service was very good, though the server seemed a bit nervous and overly eager. The food was great, except for the appetizer. We ordered the Caprese appetizer and the tomato was a pale pink, not even red. They also used too much olive oil on the serving plate, so it was too messy. They need to make sure that the tomatoes they get for this are ripe and RED. Also the basil leaves were too big. The entrees came out quickly and were nice and hot. The asparagus in my entrée was overcooked and a bit weedy. Salads were fine and we could tell they were made fresh to order.

I went to Paolo's with my boyfriend for our usual Friday night dinner. We try to hit a new place every week. Paolo's was great. The only reason I rated the food at very good and not outstanding was my entree (a breaded chicken dish, sorry I can't recall the name) was on the oily side. He raved about his pork medallions, our calamari was fantastic, the bread sticks were lovely. I'm sure that if I had mentioned the oiliness to our server she would have had it remade for me, however I'm just not one to complain, and the flavor was nice. We got to dine outside on their patio and it had a great atmosphere, great for a date night or family outing!

As we are in the Baltimore area, we thought that all Paolo's locations were gone. We were headed for Wolf Trap and discovered that they are still in the DC area! We had loved their food, and excited to get the chance to dine again. It was an early dinner, so not crowded. Our sever was fantastic. I think we scared him with how excited we were to eat, an it did not disappoint! The menu has changed in the few years since we last dined at Pailo's, but the food was still great from start to finish. Thank you Paolo's!

We haven't been here for 15 years. Back them it was one of our favorite places. Based on the food, we won't go back again. Bad wine choices by the glass (unless you like the paying a lot for cheap wine). My son had the meatballs. Just gross. Sauce gross, and not sure if it really was meat because it was gross. I had the chicken cutlet. The cutlet was fried with he texture of a potato pancake. It would have been good on bread as part of a hero, but it was served over some sad Italian dressing. Gross. My wife wanted the Paolos Salad, and ordered the Muscles Appetizer. Well the Muscles never showed, and she said the dressing was just bad and couldn't eat the salad. Got a free desert, but didn't offer coffee.

I'd never heard of this place before and only went to it because I was looking for somewhere in the Town Center that didn't seem like it was a chain restaurant. It's kind of tucked back in the corner across from Clyde's so it's a little hard to see the sign from the street, which is why I've never noticed it before. I had the lasagna bolognese which was EXCELLENT. I was so surprised at how good everyone in my group's good was. The Cyrene brule for desert was also very very good. The calamari appetizer was only ok for me. It came with buffalo sauce instead of marinara sauce which was a little weird to me given that this is an Italian restaurant, but it was ok.

First, the quality of the food and the choices were awesome. The prix-fixe is the only way to go. Truffle risotto, espresso-rubbed skirt steak, stuffed prosciutto, all of it was simply divine. The brunch is not a cattle-call buffet, but rather served in courses like tapas. My advice is to take your time, go with a large party, sample everything you can and your Sunday AM will be divine.

It's been a few years since we've been to Paolo's, but it is better than ever. It was a very busy Saturday night, but the service was still very good. Our waiter was attentive and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The risotto was very creamy and the gnocchi were light and the truffle flavor was just right. The desserts were fabulous! All in all, it was a nice Saturday night out.

I went there with my family for my daughter's birthday. We sat outside; it was the first weekend of the Reston Concerts on the Town series. The band playing was a Beatles cover-band. So, we had great music. The food was good; however my porkchop was cooked a little too much. The service was great. The only thing that could be better was if the table was bigger. It was a table really meant for two adults, and we had 3 adults, 1 child and 1 baby crammed around the table. It made it very hard to have all the dishes on the table without some acrobatics.

I would recommend attending this special brunch, but plan ahead. Reservations fill up fast the week before Easter.

I travel to Reston every 2-3 weeks on business and always make it a point to eat at Paolo's when I'm there. This past week my wife came with me to go to the Cherry Blossom Festival and she wanted to try Paolo's too. We had a wonderful meal (Spaghetti and Meatballs). When the chef checked in we struck up a conversation and he brought a variation on his typical meatballs to compare. Made the night memorable. Paolo's is consistently good and is reasonably priced, especially when compared to others in the Reston Town Center.

Me and my wife had dined here for dinner before, and finally decided to try the brunch. Great choice. The food was excellent & the service outstanding. A nice variety of Italian dishes on the menu and if you come hungry, well worth the "all-u-can eat" price. For a small additional price you can enjoy the "all-u-can drink" option too. If you have just two drinks, you make out on the cost. Although, wouldn't recommend the bloody mary. In fact, that was the only thing we could say wasn't fantastic. We definitely will be back. The decor is nice and atmosphere pleasant. They have a nice outside eating area around a fountain too. This time we dined in as it was cold out. Long story short, great food and service and highly recommend the brunch.

Paolo's is still pretty good, but not quite the upscale Italian place it used to be, though you wouldn't know it from the prices. Our salads had good ingredients, but were not exactly inspired. The shrimp risotto was good, but we suspect the beef in the beef ragout was frozen. Service was OK if a little inexperienced.
