Food and service were grat as usual. Normally go there for business lunches and occasional business dinners. Wine list is very good but overpriced compared to similar restaurants such as Venice. Wine I chose was $115, and goes for $90 at Venice.

Can't say enough about the food and service at Panzano. We had a Saturday night 6:45 reservation for 7. Prime time, large group, right? The service and timing of drinks, apps, entrees to dessert and coffee was impeccable. Our group had several pasta entrees, a veal dish and the New York Strip special. Everyone was happy with their meals.

We chose Panzano based on organic notes on their website and on OT reviews. We're so glad we did. Our server was top notch, and that alone makes dining here such a pleasure. As is our usual plan, my friend and I chose to split one appetizer (brussel sprouts), one salad (grilled caesar), one pasta (the special, with shrimp and veggies), and one entree (scallops). All portions were so fresh and tasty and suprisingly plentiful. As other posters have said already, please do yourself a favor and order the sprouts. I could have made a meal on just those. Also please note the tasting menu is just that... a tasting menu. You will leave hungry if you go that route.

We ate dinner here via the daily happy hour with another couple, though in retrospect, we would have preferred to eat in the dining room. Happy hour (2:30-6 pm) prices are very reasonable, the service is superb, and the food is very tasty and elegantly prepared--but the plates are indeed small, and if you're hungry, you'll need to order at least 3 small plates. We'd like to come back for dinner seating...

All around a great experience! Thanks BRIAN for the great service!! I went in with a group of 5 on a Monday night, I suggest the Fattoria Piatto as a great "Social" starter. The wine and cocktail list is very well designed. I chose the barrel aged Manhattan cocktail, awesomeness!! (ask for extra specialty cherries) For dinner I had the Pastiche, WOW!!!! Every bite was filled with a new flavorful experience; the cinnamon custard is such an interesting ingredient that really makes the dish pop. Deserts were also on point!! Great downtown location, parking is like $6 if you valet at the hotel entrance. Super convenient. Thanks for a great meal!! KIMPTON Restaurants at their best!!

My husband's Garganelli con Pollo was outstanding, albeit small portion. Tasting menu was good, but not outstanding. 1st course of brussel sprouts was oddly huge. They were burnt, but that was also the way they were served at Range; so that may be the Denver way. Grilled Caesar salad was great! The veal scallopini was mild tasting even though it was loaded with capers. I ordered "the California Chardonnay" as I thought there was one Cal. Chardonnay. The waiter choose the $13 Chardonnay (as opposed to an $8 Chard.) without advising me there were two by the glass. Overall it was a fine restaurant, I just think I worked myself up to expect more after reading reviews.

  • Butterscotch Pudding!

Stopped in for dinner while traveling. Service started out abrupt but turned out to be very engaging and attentive as the experience continued. Menu on Open Table didn't match the actual menu for the evening; several items my guests planned on ordering weren't available. Wouldn't have chosen this restaurant based on the extremely limited menu presented. Brussels sprouts appetizer was good but tasted a little burnt probably from old oil. We were in later in the evening. Salmon special was pricey even for land-locked Denver ($35) but tasty. Food was hot and timely. Butterscotch pudding dessert was awesome. Hostess was great. Check the actual menu before you go.

We chose panzano to celebrate a birthday with a gluten-free friend. The service was outstanding. The food was prepared to exceptional standards. Every dish was cooked perfectly. The specialty drinks we choose were unique and delicious. Our only complaint was the price point on each of our dishes. The entrees we ordered ran from 26-34 dollars a plate and although they were well-presented, were a bit meager for the price. 32 bucks for 3 scallops with a little garnish left us a bit surprised. They were beautiful and perfectly cooked but with no side or salad, overrated. For folks accustomed to paying 30+ for one course, this restaurant offers yummy food and pleasant atmosphere.

The service was impeccable. We were there for breakfast Sunday morning, August 31st. Terrific waiter, as well as his assists for table clearing. Thoughtful, courteous, friendly, and professional all the way. Thank you very much to the chefs! Great start to our holiday weekend, we think of you fondly. You are fabulous! Congratulations and continued success.

The menu Panzano put together for August 2014 restaurant week was amazing. I wish we would have been able to dine there twice, but fortunately my husband and I shared our dishes so we did get to taste almost half the menu that way. This was a four course meal beginning with roasted brussel sprouts and calimari, followed by beet and goat cheese salad and grilled caesar salad. Entrees were prociutto-wrapped shrimp and eggplant with goat cheese. The desserts were amazing: vanilla creme brulee with an orange zest and butterscotch pudding with rosemary pine nut cookie. They also had wine specials and we had a delicious Montepulciano specially priced for restaurant week. Grazie!

The food and portions were excellent. We got attentive service from everyone except our own server who spaced out on our wine order and we had to wait a long time to get a glass of wine. She also forgot to get us bread and we had to ask another server to bring us bread. Then she forgot one of our orders and had to reconfirm. Other than that, the service from the rest of the staff was great.

We tried some new dishes (the calamari, shrimp prosciutto and polenta and the butterscotch pudding were all amazing) and the service was wonderful. I have been hosting business lunches here for years and have always raved about the food. Dining in the evening with a friend was even more delightful. Excellent cocktails, choices on the Denver Restaurant Week menu satisfied both the adventurous as well as traditional diner and the food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. What made it more impressive was the skill of the entire restaurant staff to take on the daunting task of feeding a huge crowd from 5-10PM and make it look effortless. Each dining party was given the highest level of attention which created the sense we were the only special guests at Panzano's that evening. It is a night my date and I shall not soon forget. KUDOS!
